When the Moon is Void of Course (VOC) it means that it makes no more major aspects to other planets before it leaves a sign. It is a phenomenon of the transiting Moon, and there is a lot of controversy about what its influence is, and whether we should punt our lives and affairs during those times. It is said that nothing happens of note, and so is supposedly a good time for filing tax returns, but a bad time for getting nominated for the presidency.
There seems to be some confusion about when it's influencing affairs, and on what level. Technically the VOC Moon considers only transit to transit major aspects, such as we find on Astrological calendars. Usually these are limited to the conjunction, opposition, sextile, trine, and square, and occasionally include the semisextile, semisquare, and quincunx. Of course there are many more aspects than these, which I believe would change the picture radically were they to be included in what aspects we're considering in the context of the VOC Moon.
It is absurd to believe that there is ever a time when nothing is happening, or when our honest and diligent efforts won't bear some kind of fruit in their season, even if the results don't look like we'd want. And certainly a person born with a VOC Moon isn't "doomed" to a life of nothing happening of significance. So today we take a new look at the VOC Moon to get a deeper understanding of this phenomenon which supposedly occurs every couple of days, mas o menos.
For your consideration, an article on the subject I did a while ago which bears a new look. Please feel free to share insights, and any of you who have done research are welcome to share the results of your investigations.

Hi Robert , only discocered the void moon idea a few years ago.took it as a time not to make descisions, yet I always feel restless and questioning on a void moon.My more solid views on life seem to take hold especially on fixed moon sign. Makes sense if Mars 26* and Jupiter 23*, no wonder I fire up.Transits ocurring really seem to activate from these two planets on void of course moon. Aaaah! so much learning. So many intrinsic links.
And of course I am one to chat,I respect the quite listeners alot. Thanking you wise teacher. Aum Shanti Felita

Hi Sue - Thanks for checking in and your kind words of praise for the site. Glad I can be a light in this very weird, wacky world we live in.
Hi Felita - Well, by all means observe how void Moons affect your chart, since as I stated I believe they are always working out in some form of influence.
