Though the CW mythology is narrow, confining Chiron to being "the wounded healer," it is much, much more than merely a wounded healer. If you want to know more about this magnificent, first and best being of their kind, read on.
You get to begin your journey with Chiron - Wounded Healer and Much, Much More and as an added blessing, at the end of that article you get a link to a much more extensive exploration of this magical energy. Check it out, embrace the journey, and by all means, enjoy yourself along the way, since that's the best healing there is!

Hi Windsor - Why don't you email me again and we can try to get something in place before I leave for LA?
Hi daryl and Felita - Don't know anything about Ms. Hand Clow's work, but I don't accept Chiron ruling the 6th house, or any other individual house. It is a wanderer. Wanderers have no home. Therefore everywhere is its home, only temporarily. It has associations with all 12 houses, but "resides" nowhere. It symbolizes that which bridges the visible and invisible. As an aside, a long time ago it was also propounded that the intra-Mercurial planet Vulcan rules Gemini and/or Virgo and the 3rd and/or 6th houses, but that also has never been established, nor has the theory that the 4 main asteroids "rule" Virgo. Regardless, there's the problem of where to place Mercury so that the natural symmetry of rulerships is demonstrated. If you disrupt any element of the natural harmony of an entire system, there must be compensations that restore that harmony.
Besides the usual concept of a planet "being at home" in a given sign, it is also useful to remember a "ruler" measures the energies of a sign. I have found in the worldly sphere, Sun/Moon both rule Leo/Cancer, Mercury rules Gemini/Virgo, Venus rules Taurus/Libra, Mars rules Aries/Scorpio, Jupiter rules Sag/Pisces, and Saturn rules Cap/Aquarius. In the Transpersonal world, Uranus rules Cap/Aquarius, Neptune rules Sag/Pisces, Pluto rules Aries/Scorpio, TransPluto (Percephone) rules Taurus/Libra, and TransPercephone (yet to be discovered, but postulated for many years) rules Gemini/Virgo. Rudhyar made the point that from Uranus out constitute more a Solar systemic and even galactic field, where the farther out we go the more we come to perspectives and awarenesses beyond what we have as Earth-bound organic life forms.

Hi Robert, thank you for posting this article!
I'm interested to know how would you see Chiron in synastry? Could Chiron transfer his wound to another planet, or transmit some sort of healing? My Chiron forms a conjunction with my friend's Venus, in Aries, and his Chiron forms a conjunction with my moon in Capri. This is what I have felt with his Chiron: guiding me to follow my own path, create my own structure, confronted me many times with the truth (living my own truth, he's Aquarius...). On his side, I'm not sure if he has achieved finding a balance between his successful work achievements and "nurturance". I have tried many times to just "share". He seems to reject that idea of shared nurturance, which has created a distance between us. And so I'm curious to know if his Chiron, in part, has something to do with this reaction of not-wanting and needing-nurturance. Strangely, he is the only person with whom I would have wanted having a baby. In the past, the men with whom I shared a big part of my life with, he had his Lilith in exact conjunction with my Moon, and it never occured to me the idea that we could create a baby together...
Thank you in advance Robert for all your preciuos insights!

Dear Robert,
Thanks for giving us a deeper reading of Chiron; it makes more sense now. What are the 7 sacred wounds you mentioned? Do you think we experience all of them over lifetimes?

Robert, I'm feeling that Chiron is a cosmic heart opener at the moment, where all humanity, is jumping a level in empathising with the mass wounded? Thank you for soldiering on regardless,Jen

Robert.... Barbara Hand Clow's work is amazing! Well worth delving into.... she wrote to me many yaers ago about a trip she was coordinating to the Great Pyramid in Egypt and many people were going along such as Black Elk and Yuri Geller and others..... check out her book "Chiron,,,,,,," , it is an in- depth look at many facets of 'the wounded healer'............ ;)

Hi Robert,
Thanks again and again for the valuable information you always provide. I was wandering if you can help me figure out some issues concerning Chiron, as I have a lot of aspects to my natal Chiron, and I really feel like I am in a maze. Again my date of birth is 28 November 1959 in Cairo, Egypt at 10:15 PM. As you will find from my chart, I have my natal chiron in 23 Aquarius, very close to transiting Neptune, Chiron, and north node, all in my 7th house. At the same time Transiting Chiron is opposite my natal Uranus, which is at 21 Leo. I have written asking your advice before the February 2008 eclipses, as I have been passing through real hard time, and which is yet getting harder and harder. Any sugnificance concerning the aspects to my chiron? Thanks a million for all your help and support.

Lina,
My birthday is 11 15 1959..and
I have Chiron at 22 Aquarius in the 5th...with the same configurations...of transiting Neptune..NNode...and opposing my Uranus in the 10th in Leo....I have also been having a rough time for awhile...I just found a post by Lisa Dale Miller ref Chiron in Aquarius's wound, being about "emotional distancing"...which is true for me....as mine is in the 5th I understand it is about allowing emotional feelings to be expressed....which has blocked my "creativity". In this rough patch tho, I have had time to look within....and it seems that when I finally "wake up" about somthing....an expierience appears (teacher) that allows me to re-paint-print the old.
hang in there....there are others with you...
namaste..

Dear Wild Horse running,
Thanks for your reply. Some relief, at least I am not alone. Best of luck, and please wish me the same to be able to handle this energy constructively and pass through all this maze.
