Given that we have the Saturn opposition Uranus upon us for awhile, I thought it would be good to take a new look at how to transmute unhelpful thoughts and feelings so we don't feel victimized or oppressed by circumstances, people, or even our own habits that occasionally leave us in a very funky place.
In the article I explore Divine Mind and how to get unstuck from negative or self-destructive patterns. Here's a piece from the original post:
We've certainly all had them, along with everyone else we've ever known. It's part of being human. It's also part of becoming consciously your Higher Self, since dealing with unfortunate mental and emotional patterns is key to understanding how to approach the mutual attachment of mind to feelings and how these create karmic patterns.Basically, our attachments create effects and consequences down the time stream. When ego is frustrated by the lack of fulfillment in a thing or behavior, it turns its emotional thoughts toward the destruction of that. The trick is to see what truly is or needs to be destroyed in both its outer and inner nature.
By the outer symbols of our lives we know what images we identify with. Most of these, being impermanent, will be destroyed sooner or later. Our problem is in finding the right attitude while we do the journey.
By all means, enjoy the rest of the article Understanding and Transmuting Self Destructive Thoughts and definitely enjoy the power in shifting your perspectives and responses to the white noise of modern living. We have far more power to achieve happiness, joy, and even bliss than we usually suspect! Mahalo!!

Dear Robert, thank you as always for your generous guidance. :) I was thinking of this transit actually, and how it manifests on the global scale, but also personally.

Hi Robert,
As a recent visitor of your site, I would have missed the chance of reading the (already posted) article "at the right time", if you had linked it. Your words are indeed wonderful and have a positive effect. Thanks for a thoughtful & progressive "why and how" !!!!

Thank you Dear Robert for your continued clarity.
I have been in a hole, jumping out now and then to get on in the real world.Haven't looked at my chart for awhile, too overwhelming. A positive action is that I have written over a hundred poems spontaneously not sure of their purpose. I do not feel the same!
Finally, I will next week email you, to have that yucky chart looked at.I had a large amount of money stolen from my car...just when I was ready last time.
Will catchup on all the articles I missed , will help me I am sure!
Aum Shanti, Love to you all. Felita.

A very insightful and timely article for me to read today, thanks Robert! I've been pondering Saturn opposing Uranus quite a bit lately, both wondering how it will play out on the national and international stage (and our election!), and for myself personally, as well. The opposition will fall right along my MC/IC axis. Uranus has been doing its erratic dance on my IC for awhile now (insert story of big time disruption for the past two years here) and now here comes Saturn. I'm starting to see the themes slowly reveal themselves. And I have some serious work to do, including "Understanding and Transmuting Negative Thoughts". For quite a few years I've been slowly cleaning out negative childhood programming, but now I see that there's lots to do yet. Add Neptune transitting my 3rd house and currently squaring my 12th house Scorpio Moon, creating a ball of confused obfuscated smoldering *stuff* , plus Pluto is going to be trining my Virgo Sun/Pluto conjunction in the years to come, a perfect time for major self transformation. Taking out the garbage is a solid way to start cleaning house, I think. (Hopefully we'll start throwing out the trash in government as well)
Wishing you the best while on the road and looking forward, as always, to more :))
