One of the impeccable Source references for the Ageless Wisdom of our world is "The Secret Doctrine." It is a masterwork translation of the first two in a set of Ancient Commentaries, old beyond memory. How many copies of the ancient Commentaries there are, and where they are kept by the custodians of the ancient wisdom of the world is unknown. Handed down through thousands of years, they explain the evolution of Cosmos, our Solar system and Earth, and humanity.
HPB was permitted to translate just the first two volumes, as it was thought by the Masters of the Wisdom she served that 19th century humanity was not ready to know the full scope of what's really going on here on planet Earth. It seems that with the pandemic violence and ignorance still pervading our planet that they were right. A being who comes into too much knowledge if they're not ready to handle it wisely is not a good thing. It's always better to master the basics so our efforts don't become "the Sorcerer's Apprentice" of Fantasia fame.
She and her co-creator of the world wide theosophical movement, Henry Steel Olcott, are revered in the East as living Saints for helping re-establish Buddhism in Sri Lanka and across the Indian subcontinent in the 1870s through 1890s. They founded the international Theosophical Society whose motto is "There is no religion higher than Truth."
She had among her students such well-known historical figures as Annie Besant, Max Heindel (founder of the Rosicrucian Fellowship), Rudolph Steiner (founder of the Anthroposophical Society), William Q. Judge, as well as some of the most brilliant minds of the late 19th century. Others who found their way to the wisdom and became spiritual forces of the 20th century include Alice Bailey (The Arcane School), Nicholas and Helena Roerich (The Agni Yoga Society), J. Krishnamurti, and Mark Prophet (The I AM movement).
I explained more about the Being and the Movement in an earlier article linked below:
All paths to Truth lead to forms of unity, within and without. Individuality is developed without needing to conform to dogmas and superstitious belief systems. The world culture supersedes individual culture, not by negation, but by inclusivity. Bonds of unity are more valuable than ideas that separate. Mutual development is the result of all honest inquiry and debate. As HPB stated, "Our Society had never certainly any idea of rising superior to the brotherliness and ethics preached by Christ, but only to those of the sham Christianity of the Churches..." An Eastern Master of the Wisdom once attributed two-thirds of the world's suffering on religion. He of course meant institutions that dogmatically define Truth in terms of their own limited ways of interpreting beliefs. Truth is found in that which unifies, not divides. In love, not fear. In universals, not mental constructs corrupted by rigid prejudices that exclude more than they include.
Integrity comes from the same root sound as integration and integral. These concepts imply inclusivity, wholeness, and therefore a degree of universality. By abandoning integrity, the ability to realize the power from living one's higher Truth of Being is lost. However, in our integrity and search for Truth we provide the substance for the higher ideal of humanity.
As HPB was told by her Teacher, "You and your colleagues may help furnish the materials for a needed universal religious philosophy; one impregnable to scientific assault because itself the finality of absolute science; and, a religion, that is indeed worthy of the name, since it includes the relations of man physical to man psychical, and of the two to all that is above and below them."
There is a universal fellowship of humanity. There is only one race - the human race. There are powers latent in the human vehicle that are beyond most people's imagination. We are evolving, individually and collectively, toward an ideal that would enchant us all and encourage us forever, if we would consider our higher possibilities rather than cling to obsolete points of view, philosophically and personally.
If you want to know more about HPB and the Secret Doctrine, for your consideration, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, a.k.a HPB - One of the most remarkable Beings in history - Enjoy!

Hi Susanne - Yes, and just think how great our world will be when we've evolved enough so that the custodians of the ancient chronicles allow us translations of the next few volumes!!
