This has certainly been an exciting time, if somewhat hectic! The title says it all. Just about everyone I know has been thrown into a major juggling act, with things splitting apart and recombining then thrown back into instability. The key has been not to get discouraged by the deceptions, erratic or unusual events, and find ways to stay inspired despite the heaviness.
To preempt ten thousand questions, I've always reminded students that one can learn astrology very quickly by seeing what is manifesting in life and relating it to the configurations. That's why a good astrologer looks around for the common patterns, since that's the way the transiting aspects show themselves in "the real world." While it may show as something personal, generally transiting planetary aspects to each other show as larger circumstances, events, and patterns.
For example, Saturn has been and continues to oppose Uranus. On a meta-level, that's the great polarization showing itself across the world. It's manifesting every way from the American political-social polarization going on right now to the opposition of those discovering the massive banking giveaway swindle foisted on the people of the world by those that control the world economies.
There are the pre-election dirty tricks and deceptions, and generally uncertain economic and social conditions all over the world. It's also no doubt showing up ten thousand other ways on the transpersonal level, as well as personal and interpersonal levels.
Look around and you'll see many different ways this opposition is showing itself. There are the obvious negative manifestations, as well as many positive ones showing future structures of higher laws and realities demanding to be set up so that there are some stable forms as we continue to move through the Grand Irrationality. Given every time something triggers Saturn in the Virgo zone of the Grand Irrationality, it's good to pay attention to transits to Saturn, as well as where it is transiting in our birth charts.
Venus just completed the first of several Mutable T-squares to come. This same T-square will be triggered again by Mercury, then Sun and Mars between December 4-17, so by examining what just happened we may understand what's to come. What's coming may or may not directly relate to what just happened, but by looking at the dynamics we can anticipate what to do and when to do it.
The Mutable T-square was exact when Venus hit 19 degrees of Sagittarius triggering the Saturn opposition Uranus at the same degree axis. This threw the void into 19 Gemini, a degree of seed knowledge. The void of a T-square symbolizes both the problem and the solution, and the house of the void is usually the primary focus demanding attention.
While I can't possibly comment on all the possible ways it could manifest in personal situations, I'll give you how it played out in my life. Transiting Saturn is in my 2nd, Uranus in my 8th, and Venus is moving through my 5th, throwing the Gemini void of the Mutable T-square into the 11th house of friends, group work, and larger goals and ambitions. Sure enough, the past weekend has been a major drama for one of my oldest friends and Spiritual Brothers of all time and many lives, someone who's been a member of my Soul group for decades this lifetime and many other lifetimes as well.
Without divulging too many details, we had a LOT of phone calls (Gemini) once the drama was set into motion. It involved a Sag female (Venus in Sag) and a power play around a child (5th house) generating a lot of tension for my friend (11th house). And given Saturn's part, this involved long standing stagnant boundary issues (Saturn) he never addressed before (the void in Gemini), as well as a deception involving willful behavior of an erratic person (Venus square Uranus in Pisces).
He was compelled by circumstances to do a long journey where he spent a few hours in discussion then had to fly back the same day. So it was a short long journey, perfectly describing a frictional relationship between Sag and Gemini energies. The solution to the problem is a clear statement of boundaries to balance willfulness (Saturn opposition Uranus) to put the brakes on (square) the erratic Sag energies shown by Venus. A T-square if ever I've seen one!
19 Virgo is a degree of promoting cooperation over competition to achieve a form of rebirth through emotional movement. It suggests that spiritual failure is the inevitable outcome of ego-competitiveness. It is a degree of building group consciousness, as well as "sustainment of individual consciousness" within a social setup.
19 Pisces is a degree of "investiture" by some teaching or teacher. It is a degree of the transfer of power and/or knowledge to keep some core wisdom principle alive and well, "active and undeviated." It is a release from old karmas, and "transmutation of facts into intelligence."
19 Sagittarius is a degree of reorientation and movement to "distant lands" for survival purposes. It is a degree of concern by adults for their offspring with a need for a new way of life and wholesome surroundings. It is about giving of self to assist the betterment of the young, and re-emphasizing foundations.
All of these were factors in my friend's odyssey. So let's look at the void to see what completes the puzzle, or offers elements of the solution to the tension between the forces of the prior three paragraphs.
19 Gemini is a degree of seed knowledge, the planetary brain, and the ability for the human mind to discover its foundations and observe cyclic and cosmic manifestations in its existence. In it we find by looking back at past experience a "reserve of collective knowledge and wisdom beyond individual self-expression."
These were the natural voids that needed discussing in the situation my friend was involved in. As he brought these into play, it brought forth needed different perspectives to what was previously in motion.
All 19 degree points are forms of techniques of action. In applying the actional techniques of invoking the energies of these degrees, my friend in tern was blessed with the good of all these degrees in ways he never anticipated.
There was a true spiritual investiture that occurred both to and from him in both visible and invisible worlds. He's getting to clean up old karmas that involve past survival issues in him and others close to him. He rediscovered some seed knowledge and power of his Spiritual Maleness that needed to be re-claimed and expressed in the highest possible way for the noblest possible reasons. It stirred ancient cross-generation admiration and insights into stages of his own and others' maturing into healthy self expression. And it involved a degree of personal inconvenience to say what had to be said.
In closing, I'll remind you that we have more Mutable T-squares to come in December. Uranus will still be at 19 Pisces, since it goes stationary direct in late November there. In December Saturn will have moved on to its stationary RX degree at 21 Virgo, thus changing the nature of the energies in significant ways due to it being in an emotional, social, and cultural phase rather than the actional phase. And it occupies the second degree of the phase rather than the fourth, which significantly changes the ways it will manifest.
This creates a 20 degree midpoint that will equally heat up any time a transit triggers the T-square. So everything about 19 Mutable degrees will still be in play, along with the meanings and manifestations of the 20th and 21st degrees of the Mutables as well.
I'll close with a final note of some importance. Just when the Sun and Mars both activate the Sag points the second week of December, it coincides with the Full Moon at 22 Gemini-Sag exactly square Saturn. This creates a Grand Mutable Cross. Whereas a T-square is powerful through its ability to bring about integration, a Grand Cross shows a fracturing energy that pulls things apart.
You can bet that things will become somewhat difficult around that time for those who do not have a handle on their Mutable sectors. For others, it will be a time of multiple resolutions through the recombinations this configuration offers.
And, when we throw an exact Mercury conjunct Pluto at 1 Capricorn at that Full Moon, thus bringing Mercury into the Grand Irrationality, expect some major developments and new power players to make their debut on the world stage. Since it's Mercury, it may not be obvious at that time, but further events will make these energies much more evident when the Sun and then Mars conjunct Pluto in late December.
Happy pre-election chaos!

Your Highest Highness,
The Grand Irrationality is very much alive here in the desert. I have offered the chaos out to the universe. It is virtually impossible to organize anything so I'm forced to go with the "flo" (which is my real name:) I have my 80 year old mother here with me for 3 weeks who thinks she should be dead because dad is gone (sorry I mean God is gone). Aside from her memory issues this should be the beginning of her life and I have put my work aside for the time being because I feel very focused on waking her up. My mantra of "FIND YOUR MOTHER AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW" has always been a symbol of finding the mother in oneself to manifest the opening of compassion, justice and equality. However the present moment tells me I am to do this literally! I am going to assist this woman in finding out who she is! I hope.
That said, about this aspect of Mercury conjunct Pluto one degree...can you give me a take that it will be forming an opposition to my mid 3 house Venus 1 degree cancer and square my 0 north mid 12 house arien node.......Where do you think I'll be landing/hanging from this T cross?

very interesting , I dont have any planets/points/asteroids in mutables signs should be a hard time...

dear Robert
great article my brother! Saturn and Uranus Opposition we are feeling the effect also my Natal Moon and especially venus at 20 Sagittarius square to both Saturn and Uranus really i am like being alone again like i am running from my close relationships i know its for a while :)
thanks
good luck

Dear Robert,
Like Franklin I also have no planets in mutable signs. (I'm a Cancer.) But Uranus is transiting my 2nd house and I just got a huge car repair bill. Have no choice but to take the money out of savings and pay it. HURTS!!
Other than that, a very interesting article. :)

Actually Uranus isn't quite there yet- almost at the 2nd house cusp, about 25? Pisces. Close enought to cause trouble I guess.
Posted by: Valerie | November 03, 2008 at 04:54 PM
This is fascinating. I'll need to think this through more, but here's what's happening for me:
I have Sun 18 Virgo in the 2nd house square Saturn 19 Sag on the cusp of the 5th house. Plus my progressed Moon is at 19 Gemini in the 11th. So all these mutable transits are hitting dead on! No major crises (at least as yet!). I've just started dating again after a long self-imposed dating hiatus (I'm 50) and over the weekend had two separate dates (5th house I guess) plus two social events with friends (11th house). All pretty tiring (Saturn) although also exciting and somewhat unexpected (Uranus). I find I'm approaching things much differently than before, though I'm rather ambivalent about relationship versus independence (Saturn-Uranus!). (I also have Chiron on my Descendant, now experiencing Return.) Saturn's run through my 1st house helped me ground myself, I think, and with Saturn on my Sun now I actually feel more solid.

A beautiful, illuminating ARTicle Robert. I was blown away by what you reported re: the 19*Virgo, as months ago, I was discussing with a work colleague, the opposite working attitudes of cooperation versus ego driven competitiveness in a team. When I read re: that degree, I absolutely knew it would refer to her and checked ephemeris, Mars 19* Virgo, sq. nodes! 19th. Dec. 1964.I do declare i was channelling! I also have this impending feeling that i'm about to be bowled in the Mutables, followed up with b'day full Moon Dec. and various other cosmic king hits.i'm finding that despite doing my best to keep a low profile, my Uranus keeps threatening to break out. Help! Jenganesh

Hello Robert,
I have much to say but little time tonight! I just got home and must crash in order to vote in the morning. So I limit myself to this remark: I'm somewhat excited for this upcoming Grand Mutable Cross. The lunation is exactly conjunct my part of spirit in Gemini and it makes some lovely aspects to my planets in Aquarius and Libra. I'd be interested in hearing your take on having the full moon conjunct this arabic part though.
And oh yes: today was full-on "life feels like it's falling apart/Matt could do little right/let's see what other little things can we throw on Matt's plate to take care of at work" (hello Saturn in Virgo in the 6th House). Nonetheless, I am grateful to get a bit of support from my natal Saturn as transiting Saturn is now semi-sextile to it.
As always, thank you.
- Matt

Hi, Robert I hate to be a stickler for detail but I checked and saturn goes retrograde the first of january. I checked ephimeris and my own transits in december. I noted this cause you gave me a lot of comments on the sun/mars conjunction with happens to be right no my own sun. I had been looking over transits and stuff for this december. I checked for everything. I also have been waiting for retrograde planets to clear up before I do any horary. Though I know the newer planets do not mean much according to Lily as they were not used but since we use them now. I look at possible meanings that they might add to horary.

Hi, Robert I double checked. But I see how you approach things and the energy of an rx planet starts to be felt, the wannin or waxing for the moon....
I have that full moon right on my true node which falls in my 11th house and opposes my south node of course. 19 d Gem is right at the end of my tenth house, then 19 virgo is rignt inside my 2nd house but thankfully in a leaving aspect to my pluto there, 19 d is right at the end of my fourth house but one degree approaching my fifth house, then 19 d pisces is in my 8th house.
Do you think I will have a similar experience that you are having? I actually do not have any gemini friends. I have no sag friends either. My own chart is heavily laden with earth, a bit of water, and a bit of air and two planets my sun and my ac in fire signs. Hmmmmmm

Ok, my brain is shutting down on this and I could use a clear voice to cut through some of these thick energies that have me polarized. Transiting Saturn is in my 8th and tr Uranus in the 2nd; tr Venus at 19 Sag conjunct natal Moon at 19 Sag in the 11th, and tr Mars at 20 Scorpio is conjunct natal Mercury/MC/SN/Jupiter in 9 & 10 Houses. Any suggestions?

Hi Chickie - I figured you were dealing with all kinds of things! Glad you still have time to help your mom appreciate life on our fragile planet (whether she wants to or not!) It's not often that we find ourselves being able to fulfill the phrase "child is father to the man," or in your case, "daughter is mother to the woman." I'm sure you'll help, whether she acknowledges that or not. The Mercury conjunct Pluto will bring insights and info re: your Venus, and what types of Pluto opposition Venus actions you'll take to rid yourself of whatever prevents you from getting concrete results.
Hi Franklin - Well, though you're probably not directly affected by the T, I'm sure that Saturn and/or Uranus are making some kind of aspects to something in your chart. So congrats on not having to skate through this particular sandstorm! That said, I'm sure someone you know may need your assistance since you're not in the thick of things.
Hi AceStar - They are helping your Moon to release its potential. Try to be positive in demonstrating your uniqueness despite the heaviness all around you, and find alternative ways to view or communicate what needs to be seen/said. And of course, sometimes solitude is much preferable to the droning of the world and its mindless distractions. Better to be making decisions in the clarity of one's solitude than being deflected by others' considerations which may or may not be real or even apply.
Hi Valerie - Like the air that we breathe, savings can always be replaced. That's why we save, so that we have what we need when we need it. Sorry that you are having to spend unexpectedly, but being familiar with that phenomenon (I have a Sun square Uranus!) I've learned to breathe into it, affirm that nothing is taken that cannot be replaced, and open to whatever is coming my way. Perhaps this is finishing something so that something else can come forth. Vehicle repairs are always interesting metaphors.
Hi Leslee - Your Moon is the solution to what's happening. And of course, in the 11th something could be coming down with one or more of your friends. Saturn on your Sun brings rewards and results for what you've worked for in the past 29 years. You can be in a relationship AND still maintain your autonomy. Those are the healthiest relationships.
Hi Franklin - As Jupiter moves into and through your 7th house, and in Aquarius is favorable to your Sun, you should have ample opportunities for productive progress in many life areas. As I am also an Aries, I can only advise that the quicker you're autonomous financially, the better off you'll be. Do not be dependent on anyone, ever, for your financial well being.
Hi jenganesh - Yes, the symbols are universal in their application, and sometimes we tune in whether we know we are or not. Uranus always "breaks out," and the trick is to focus it the best way possible to demonstrate our uniqueness and genius.
Hi Matt - Yes, I also have to keep my answers somewhat short as I am a county coordinator for Obama today. I'll bet you're doing just fine this next year thanks to Jupiter.
Hi Micheline - According to Jim Maynard's astrological ephemeris, Saturn goes SRX December 31, 10:09 am PST. That makes it Jan 1 east of India. The study of horary is difficult, complex, and has taken me over 30 years to begin to understand, so good luck on your endeavors! I never use the outers in horary, since they involve impersonal larger forces. Added meaning, yes. Determinants, never. The Moon on one's Node at a lunation is highly significant. I don't know if you will have a friend going through something similar, since we all are unique in our experience, even though we share lessons with countless others across space and time. My situation doesn't involve a Gemini, but it does involve a Sag. and someone of another sign.
Hi Sue Moon - Again, this is working out on your Moon, helping you to overcome heaviness and teaching you how to make basic personal decisions to integrate your sensitivity with the swirl of outer decisions that must be made. Mars is helping you end an old cycle and begin anew. Mars on your Jupiter should open you to a greater adventure than before. Just slow it waaaay down when it's on your Mercury, and try to maintain what silence you can as you fall back on your line of least resistance.

Hi Robert,
I am grateful for the website and have picked up helpful information but, this is an advanced lesson for me. I created a chart on Astrodienst but haven’t figured out where to obtain the degrees. What type and drawing style do you use? Secondly, how long does the Saturn / Uranus opposition last? In December my Saturn is in Virgo, Uranus is in my tenth house Pisces almost exactly on my MC, Pluto in 6th house Sagittarius. Are MC transits auspicious events or ill-fated lessons?
Thanks for teaching an old dog new tricks!

Hi Robert thanks for your timely answer. That was fast. Especially considering what is going out in there for all of you Americans and I guess the whole world is waiting to see what will happen. I have a feeling Obama might just win too. But for me it is just a feeling. I think also it could be hope. Many of us outside the United States do not want another Bush or the like and I am sure that many other people in America who are not pro Bush and his administration of affairs in America want the same thing too. Someone who is seems much better. But that also will have to be seen in real time. I was using the astro.com ephemeris. Well, i am just getting into horary and I am sure that it willl take a long time since I have other things I need to do. I am interested in seeing what will happen. Thank you again for keeping us in touch and up to date on the out there that touches the in here.
Must get some sleep. Work work work tomorrow

Great article, very accordingly to current events.
And I am going to see -thanks for talking about it- what is that Grand Cross about, with Full Moon and Mercury "giving voice" to this "new" Pluto that we will have in Capricorn.
My God, what a "high" in the skies!.
As above, so below...so...is worth a close look at this I think.
Posted by: Henry | November 04, 2008 at 02:46 PM
Of note, without going off-topic, is that Mars is going to conjunct the Sun -very close- opposing Full Moon and both squaring Saturn and Uranus (12th December).
Seems a so tense situation, at all levels.
By the way, Robert, if you have planets in Mutable signs but they are in an orb of 10º or plus from the Grand Cross degrees, can we consider there are voids?.
Obviously, I'll be reading you about this.
Thanks.

Thanks Robert for the very helpful insights. Vehicle repairs a metaphor for...? A synchronicity perhaps? You can't believe what they found wrong inside my engine. We don't know how it happened. Nothing was my fault. But yes, savings can be replaced, and I'm lucky I had something to fall back on. I keep thinking, it's only money. And reading my Florence Scovell Shinn book.
Interestingly, Mars is squaring Pluto in same place (9th H.) as he was when I had a bad car accident several years ago (along with other hairy transits.) How do you like that. Like with the accident, I'm thinking this will use up all the bad energies in the air for awhile. :)

Thanks Robert, I am very gratefull
yes you are right, transiting saturn sextil natal pluto and will soon trine natal saturn, transiting uranus trines natal pluto.
abraço

Dear Robert,
Great article. Thanks. You speak to the different meanings of 19 degrees of each of the mutable signs. Can you recommend a good text that speaks to the meanings of the specific degrees of different zodiac signs? I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks.

Hey Robert ( and all ) ...
I got to ask a few questions about this article and I
hope you can find the time to jot down a few things for more. PLEASE :)LOL
You said ...
"All 19 degree points are forms of techniques of action.
* HOW ?? Darling .. ;) did you arrive at this
assessment ?? You know I love a good riddle, especially astrological but was the reference of Spiritual Maleness due to his sun or mars being hit astrologically or just because he was a guy ...because I've had some bizarre generational and ancient insights that have come my way in the past two weeks ?? which is why I am asking so I am looking for a planet or aspect to correlate it too ?? *
"And it involved a degree of personal inconvenience to say what had to be said.
And it
occupies the second degree of the phase rather than the fourth, which significantly changes the ways it will manifest.
This creates a 20 degree midpoint that will equally heat up any time a transit triggers the T-square. So everything about 19 Mutable degrees will still be in play, along with the meanings and manifestations of the 20th and 21st degrees of the Mutables as well."
Okay this is crucial ...
when the T square went off ...it nailed a certain asteroid along with the planets, of a place, and oddly enough my husband got a job offer ( kaflewing a few of my plans in the making for the time being ) from this particular place with the possibility of yet ANOTHER move. BUT this job offer is amazing and We're Agog and in shock .. literally. The opportunity is staggering and after so many trials for our little family too and with the current economy. It also would guarantee us long term intervals as part of his work in the meditteranean!
You said there would be long term change and steady growth and total renewal in my life ! Wow, you weren't kidding.
I wouldn't be surprised if this goes down right around the early part of December which also would include the next 15 degree Sag hit. Mars conjunct Sun 2 plus year cycle which you have written about in mars articles before ( when you moved last).
Could you shine some more light on the December stuff soon ??
"I'll close with a final note of some importance. Just when the Sun and Mars both activate the Sag points the second week of December, it coincides with the Full Moon at 22 Gemini-Sag exactly square Saturn. This creates a Grand Mutable Cross. Whereas a T-square is powerful through its ability to bring about integration, a Grand Cross shows a fracturing energy that pulls things apart."
This is what worries me .. the Grand Mutable Cross stuff .... I really could use some more input of how this particular energy works. I can see how many temporary structures, people and friends currently will be greatly affected by this in my life, especially the fracturing and especially my kids friends. And it would become a platform for permanent
removal from the US eventually.
"You can bet that things will become somewhat difficult around that time for those who do not have a handle on their Mutable sectors. For others, it will be a time of multiple resolutions through the recombinations this configuration offers."
This paragraph was at least very hopeful for me because I truly feel at this point .. multiple
and SEVERAL resolutions on so many external and internal levels along with a reunification and recombination occurring in me and my families life ...not too mention my own personal identity... yehaa Pluto transfigurations ...
Hope you have the time ...
I know your wracked with stuff ...
Peace to all
and as always ... in between jumps
and commutes lately your articles
are the only true gold I have time for
or bother to look for .. :)

Quite a timely article, Robert. I'm very interested in this formation, since it hits me where I live, as they say. My Sun at 18Gemini58 forms an exact Grand Mutable Cross with transiting Saturn/Uranus and transiting Venus.
Saturn/Urancus hits conjunct my MC/IC at 20 Virgo/Pisces. Transiting Venus is in my 6th house, and Natal Sun (conjunct natal Uranus and North Node) is in the 12th.
Have I been affected? And how!
My most pressing obligation is dealing with elderly, ailing parents, caring for them and providing end-of-life services for them. Because I love them, I have decided that caretaking is my daily job now. What I want is less important than what makes them comfortable.
I see the Karmic notes of this aspect for me, and I'm happy to pay what I "owe." But my days are more hectic and demanding than they've ever been. I pray for strength and stamina.
Thanks again for all your insightful comments.

Robert, I am a fan of yours, thanks so much your unique, down to earth, progressive outlook!
I would love to know about how this T-square is affecting me, bc its right on top of a personal T-square of Saturn 9th house @ 10 Virgo; Moon 4th house @ 24 Pisces and Venus 1st house @ 24 Sag/ with the open spot in 7th house gemini. Longterm ive had lots of healing, and short term lots of life changes which are great! im feeling all the newness and want to keep riding the vibrations...

thanks for all you do.

Hi 81 - I use either Solar Fire or Matrix. Matrix is good software AND the people are much nicer people. Solar Fire is a good software but IMHO the people are severely lacking in grace, style, and integrity. In my chart computations I use the Tropical and Porphyry house division system but also keep Equal House divisions in mind, thus generating a span of cusp degrees that is a zone where the 2 house areas meet and overlap. The Saturn opposition Uranus will last through July 2011, though sometimes it'll be closer and other times relatively distant, and usually it seems to be more evident when forming rather than separating, except when within a 2 degree orb. I tend not to generalize about transits being auspicious or "ill fated" since they may be either or both, depending on what the actual transits and aspects are, as well as how evolved a being is spiritually. Nothing is "ill fated" if a Being is highly evolved (or even if they're merely on their way!) It's all grist for the mill of Soul and regardless of how evolved we are or think we are, the challenge is to make lemonade out of lemons, whether you ordered them up or they were somehow dumped on your front yard.
Hi Micheline - There is far more hope for America and the entire world now that Barack Obama is president, though of course he's not Superman. Even Jonas Salk was ridiculed by many for trying to "over-reach" and end AIDS like he did polio. And you can bet the Republicans are already plotting their usual monkeywrenching to regain control, since that seems to be their raison d'etre. But thank Spirit their era is past, since relatively few here really want fundamentalist religionists to be in charge of anything, thus splitting their party for good. As for horary, it is not easily understood or mastered. As a great astrologer once told me decades ago, first master natal astrology and you'll learn horary much easier. And I love the phrase "in touch and up to date on the out there that touches the in here." Great juxtaposition word play.
Hi Henry - That particular Grand Cross is only in play for two weeks. While it will no doubt fracture some things, there are many other influences equally important in play. The T-squares are much more prominent (and integrative!) since the Moon will trigger them twice a month for quite a while. I don't use an orb of 10 degrees except for conjunctions or oppositions to the lights. 80 degrees is a binovile, 100 degrees approaches the orb of the biseptile, and 98+ is the trielftile. There are many voids created by natal and progressed resonant points, but the trick is to see the larger interrelated patterns that are occupied, then find the voids relative to the specific aspects involved. This is an element of the "art of synthesis."
Hi Valerie - Vehicles are metaphors of the physical body, emotional body, mental body, and spiritual body. I find if we don't spend correctly up front on whatever, then we are forced by circumstances to spend whatever later on. Money is like air in our lungs. Just glad you're chewing up karma in good humor! Regard it as one more thing you won't have to deal with in the future.
Hi Franklin - It would seem you have many productive understandings on the way in the higher and outer realms!
Hi Jenny - Most people use Dane Rudhyar's "Astrological Mandala," though these are reinterpreted from the original Marc Edmund Jones work (since he created the Sabian Symbols.) There are quite a few older works on the symbols for various degrees, though none see the zodiac as an integrated whole of unfoldment and some are just too negative to stomach.
Hi Melody - A few? ;-) (Next time try to condense, since it's a long scroll for other readers who will visit this stream.) The assessment was a combination of degree meanings along with my knowledge of male/female mysteries and the Spiritual evolutionary level and track of self-unfolding my friend and Brother is on. Some of my interpretive knowledge is not derived from astrology (though there are astrological correlations), since for decades I've worked with Truth seeking Souls to advance their Spiritual evolution as well as the usual mundane levels of self unfoldment. Astrology can be applied in the usual ways, but there are higher applications. The answer to your riddle involves your own willingness to embrace the Ageless Wisdom and the Path of Hastened Attainment.
I tend not to give as much power to asteroids as many, since I believe they've been misinterpreted with a gender bias. Glad the configurations yielded multiple opportunities for long term stability, and of course, glad I could give you a heads up in advance. That's part of what I offer clients and friends, since often with a little advance notice we learn to recognize good opportunities and avoid negative states that could jam our gears. Will definitely be writing more about December when I have time.
In the meantime, stop worrying about configurations. As I mentioned above, this particular Grand Cross is only active for two weeks. There is little out there about how these things work. That's why I created this blog. And of course, I have yet to structure classes for those interested in exploring astrology beyond the usual stuff out there. But that's one of my 2009 projects! On a final note, many are reorienting in where they are to live, since a great leap is occurring all over the world, and we're all getting into position to do a future work, whether we recognize it or not. Will continue to post as I'm able, though of course my own work schedule is jammed to the max.
Hi Sunny 610 - You're definitely opening to a new sense of purpose and higher responsibilities over the next year. Don't waste energies in erratic situations, but don't get bent trying to overcontrol or make too much sense either. It's time for you to find your inner values which life will recognize and reward consistently, and do whatever it takes to open future cycles. December will be the jumping off point. Venus is now heralding what's coming. Saturn in the 4th definitely can show responsibilities and duties connected to family and especially parents. What a great opportunity to show love, care, respect, and affection to those who are part of your "Soul group." It's not so much that we "owe" anything, but we must take every opportunity this life to show love, wisdom, and intelligence in our choices to grow and evolve. Taking care of loved ones is one of those opportunities when it's appropriate to our and their evolution. Look at it as a marathon of learning to be lovingly wise and responsible, and then when it's done you'll have no regrets in that department for the rest of your days.
Hi planetariumobile - Thanks for your kind and very positive words. It's actually affecting you 10,000 ways, and I can't possibly explain all or even most of them. It's releasing your Saturn return lessons that will continue through next Autumn, even as Uranus is revolutionizing your habits and feelings. You're learning not to be so emotionally heavy and getting clearer about balancing your inner and outer self, getting the nurture you need and giving that to others while letting go of sentimentalities. You'll be rewriting your address book and your sense of what you value and like or don't. Try not to yield to buying into that which is too unusual, since you probably won't value it the same way in a couple of years. Go for a life and relationships that open you to a greater sense of freedom, while taking responsibility for charting a more satisfactory course for the long term future than you've had in the past. And of course you're most welcome.

Thanks Robert, I thought it was something like that. When some big expensive thing happens and has no explanation, it's an attention-getter. There's a world of possibilities here. As always I appreciate your wisdom...
Blessings to all. :)
