For those who wish to open a door to the Eternal Self and get beyond stresses arising from human thought, feeling, and action, today I offer the gem of gems, "Light On The Path." It is said that an aspirant reads it with one set of eyes; an Initiate with another, and a Master with yet another. I have read and re-read this work countless times over 35 years, and each time I understand its wisdom in a new light. Even one minute contemplating its wisdom opens doors of higher awareness forever.
As I wrote in an article on "Light On The Path - Three Eternal Higher Truths,"
This is from one of the oldest books on the planet. As was written in the Introduction about 100 years ago, "…the first form in which we see it is smaller yet. It is a palm leaf manuscript, old beyond computation; so old that even before the time of Christ men had already forgotten its date and the name of its writer, and regarded its origin as lost in the mists of prehistoric antiquity." It was translated from Senzar into Sanskrit, then from Sanskrit into Greek at the time of the Alexandrian mystery schools, and from Greek into English in 1885.
I recently was asked how to end the pain of separation, of "not belonging," the sense of feeling like a stranger in a strange land. This is one aspect of the universal human condition. There is no one who does not feel this.
Any sense of belonging is always temporary, usually a function of what we're doing, where we are, and who we're doing whatever with. It is a product of perception, which is impermanent. The feeling of connectedness with a person, idea, or thing always waxes and wanes, but the sense of separateness never entirely vanishes forever.
Though we are in fact never separate from anything or anyone for even an instant, our perception of separateness and longing for connectedness can never be satisfied. That's because our sense of identification with anything always changes, due the nature of our Eternal Self.
Our Eternal Self is forever free to explore infinity and eternity. That is not conducive to feeling "at home" with a thing, idea, perception, or person for any "permanent" length of time. It's why we evolve, whether we want to or not, or know we are (or believe we aren't), growing into our Spiritual Self.
St. Issa the Nazar was not in the habit of saying frivolous, useless, or irrelevant things. He addressed this timeless universal human experience when he uttered the immortal words "the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." Anyone who would aspire to a constant experience of Eternal Consciousness will have to deal with this great truth for all humanity through all ages.
We cannot end the universal longing for connectedness through mental exercises, except that in focusing the mind on eternals, we may be able to get beyond the astral plane and its uncontrolled desires. And to that end, one of the most venerable works we can use to stay focused on our immortal state is "Light on the Path." Contemplate every single line, every single note for lines that have notes, and every single comment on every part of this work. These notes and comments are linked within the work itself.
As I told the inquirer, "Engrave its teachings on your heart if you would grow beyond the longing that cannot be ended (since it is a part of the basic fabric of humanity throughout the ages.) The reward? A constant experience of yourself as an Eternal loving, wise, intelligent Self, beyond suffering, yet able to walk in the midst of the suffering without losing your equipoise."
For your contemplation, in hopes that we can end the suffering of all sentient beings through its Ageless wisdom,

I've noticed that not only me, by my entire circle of reliable collegues, friends, etc., such as other people, have been through separation from dear persons / material possessions, etc., this year.
It is "scientifically" -as some seem to pray for- tested by me till where I reach in my environement.
2008, year of "letting go".
Amazing coincidences everywhere and with everyone you talk to.
(And many people who were "out of the game" are experincing real imbalances in this affairs with the current Saturn/Urans opp.).
Just curious, but true.

i read this robert & feel such a recognition.
perhaps one reason that "belonging" is so fleeting is that it is based in the "now moment of connecting" & in service to the divine flow of manifested experience. however fleeting this is....& depending on how the reflection & experience is to unfold.
i find most want to hold on many times longer than the manifested reality experience is to be/needed.
once again you dive deep in obscure, esoteric & sometimes missed places to bring us golden nuggets of eternal wisdom
thanx again
(hoping for you to be on awakeings in dec. :-)

Hello Robert,
It is good to know that I'm not the only one feeling this energy. It has been very intense. I thought it was all the Saturn stuff I was going through. I have a Stellum in my 2nd house Virgo (Uranus/Pluto/Mars) and a fun group of party animals hanging out in my 8th house Pisces (Sun/Mercury/Chiron..Saturn is technically 7th house, but close enough to the 8th house cusp to get in on the fun).
What is really interesting is that I have had this drive to create community and to bring people together. I'm doing so with 2 different internet site ventures, but feel like I'm swimming upstream! I would really love it if some of the pressure would let off. I have a 10th house Jupiter that is now in trine with Transit Saturn and Transit Jupiter. Surely that has to count for something!!! LOL
blessings,
Kim

Hi Henry - Separation is necessary so we can choose anew what to hold on to. The opposition of Saturn and Uranus is also separative, as all oppositions can be if appropriate union cannot be achieved. Plus of course we simply outgrow some people, things, and behaviors.
Hi Michele - All sense of connection is conditioned by perception as long as we have 5 senses and a mind to help/hinder us. We all get attached to the known and familiar, so of course it's a universal experience to hold on longer than is wise at times. And of course, you're welcome. Email me about the next interview.
Hi Kim - Well, I'm sure that Saturn is involved somehow, as the opposition is truly working on your keyboard of personality in multiple ways. Lots of awarenesses, no doubt! Many are doing community building in various ways, and sometimes the resistance tests our willingness to persevere and if needed, adapt. Your Earth trines are helping you get and stay grounded, and should be helping anchor the structure that should take off in January.
Hi AceStar - I thought this might appeal to you. Perhaps there are others where you are that could use to remember there are timeless truths that transcend individual eras and teachings. Truly, keep safe and smiling, my friend.

Dear Robert, It has been many years since I have left a message....probably since 2007, as I, and so many others including our beeloved Mother Earth have been in the sacred refining temples of Virgo and dear pluto assisting us in shedding the old skins to be reborn again to serve the Light and Love of the Divine. To help birth the new paradigm, the new Age of Aquarius. Thank you and Bless you for shining "Light on the Path" in sharing Mabel Collin's great work. I was first was turned on to this most potent insightful book in 1971. It has been a source of great wisdom a true gem and elixir to sooth the weary pilgrim on the sacred journey of the divine life, light and love.
I hope I am on your email list now and will regularly receive your Aquarius Papers.
Thank You again and again for the Light on the Path
In Unity, Love and Light, Elizabeth HeartStar
