The next few days we're experiencing Mars conjunct Pluto, the last in a series of conjunctions of inner planets with Pluto at the Galactic Center. Any time a planet conjuncts Neptune or Pluto the Grand Irrationality is triggered. Today's article may help those struggling with the larger irrational, obsessive-compulsive energies of this years-long configuration.
Though I wrote this some time ago, it bears re-reading since there are more than a few helpful ideas regarding the Grand Irrationality. For your consideration, How To Deal With The General Weirdness of The Grand Irrationality.
You can find out more about what this season of Pluto conjunctions at the Galactic Center is all about by reviewing the recent article, Pluto Galactic Center Seeds in Motion December 2008 and January-February 2009 - New Beginnings Are Already Rolling Through as well as the internal links that will take you down the rabbit hole into a vaster galactic perspective.

I don't think I ever get tired of reading about the Grand Irrationality. I find it to be the most astute astrological explanation for the nature of the highly unusual times we are living in -- and the impact of those times on both individuals and collectives -- that I have yet seen. Thanks for keeping it front and center and continuing to help us digest it.

Hi Robert,
I am curious to understand the impact of any planet conjunct Pluto. I have Venus conjunct Pluto in Virgo at 25degrees.
This is in the 9th house of natal chart. Does this mean that I am irrational?
Thanks!

Hi Layli - Well, it sure seems to help clarify why things are just so weird at present! The Grand Irrationality (as it seems to be) explains a lot of the backdrop for the current pandemic weirdness. And of course, you're welcome.
Hi TAG - Pluto is the purifier. There is a huge difference between natal conjunctions and transiting conjunctions, much more than I could explain here. While it could indicate that occasionally you become extreme or obsessive about some Venusian things, it also shows that you could be the productive manifestation of that particular Divine Energy in your world. It depends on many other factors too numerous to discuss here based on the limited information you've given me here.
