A reader asked me what it meant that the recent New Moon in Libra fell conjunct their Pluto. That got me to thinking, and you know what that means....
While forming the answer to the query, I realized that at certain points in the year, a series of New Moons and Full Moons in fact do stimulate many of the "generational planets" in our charts. Whether Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto, there are a sequence of Lunations that trigger these outer, invisible, "transpersonal" energies, allowing us to face spiritual lessons that evolve us in major ways.
To cite the example that inspired this article, the recent New Moon at 25 Libra put the focus on the Pluto for everyone with that planet in the latter part of Libra (late 1977-late 1984). Also, it conjuncted the Neptune of all those born throughout most of the 1950s, and the Uranus of those born in in 1972-1975.
When the outer Spiritual Invisibles are accented at a given point in time, then we learn about how to understand and manifest that function more perfectly.
The recent Lunation focuses the need for purification, transformation, transmutation, and if necessary, annihilation of all that is toxic for those whose Pluto function is stimulated. It focuses the need for inspiration, idealism, collective awareness, and compassion in all with Neptune in late Libra. It focuses the need for individuation, renovation, and revolution in the lives of those with Uranus in late Libra.
Taking that one step further, it also implies that during this time in history, the Summer and Autumn Lunations (especially the New Moons) are very important since they stimulate the outer Spiritual planets in large groups of people. And yes, to some extent it also happens at the Full Moons when the Sun is opposite the signs of our natal outer planets.
Still, each year when there is a lunation in Cancer, during those weeks it's in effect it focuses the energies on those with Pluto in Cancer (1913-1939), Neptune in Cancer (almost no one left alive!), and Uranus in Cancer (1949-1956). We can apply the same planetary energies as above, but through the Cancer filter. How early or late it falls in the sign determines which end of these generations are most affected.
Each year when we have a Lunation in Leo, during those weeks when it's in effect it impacts the Pluto in Leo group (1938-1958), the Neptune in Leo group (1914-1929), and the Uranus in Leo group (1955-1962). How early or late it falls in the sign determines which end of these generations are most affected.
Each year when we have a Lunation in Virgo, during those weeks when it's in effect it impacts the Pluto in Virgo group (1956-1972), Neptune in Virgo group (1929-1942), and Uranus in Virgo group (1961-1969). As with the other signs, how early or late it falls in the sign determines which end of these generations are most affected,
I've already discussed the late Libra groups above, so they're taken care of for this year. Early Libra groups fall just after the Virgo dates and before the late Libra dates. To note, should next year's New Moon fall earlier in the sign, then the groups born before the dates given above will be most impacted.
We have a Lunation in Scorpio on the way. This will stimulate the Pluto of all those born 1984-1995, the Neptunes of those born 1956-1970, and the Uranus of those born 1974-1981. If the lunation falls early in the sign, those born at the front end of the span are most impacted. If the lunation falls late in the sign, those born at the end of the sign are most impacted.
What the Sun illuminates in the Autumn for these generations, the Moon will give form to in the times when the Full Moon is conjunct the outer planets of these generations the first half of these years.
Just a few musings as the Grand Irrationality continues, the Great Transition accelerates, Jupiter opposes the Plutos of all on Earth, and the centrifuge of Saturn opposition Uranus spins faster and faster......

Robert,
Thanks for this...it opens my eyes to your recent answer about "focus"....as the Full Moon 10 degrees Taurus
is opposed my Neptune at 7 Scorp-1st, and sort of opposing my Mars 17 Scorp 2nd?....much new insight has risen to the surface over the last day...and Im
"seeing" alot of things in a new light. The Scorpio New Moon is at 24 degrees conjunct my Sun 22-23...a new cycle
after this?
On another astrology site recently an article about the Libra New Moon, opposing a small
planet called 1992 QB1 that..... from the article....
"this planet assists people at threshold moments: and all teachers and guides who assist others in the process of crossing boundaries within themselves. Said another way, she represents anyone who takes a personal risk and gives from their souls to assist those who must cross a spiritual border. I have a word for them, which is thresholders"....
"Break on through to the other side".....

You didn't mention people born in 1952. What happens to us? Pices born 2/27/52

Hey 1952, maybe you get to breath? How's the big opposition doing for you? I don't expect an answer. Everything's a little zany right now.
Threshhold, that's a positive kinda word.
This individuation, spin off, etc etc is certainly affecting group dynamics. I can't be sure of what I'm walking into anymore. Whoa nellie belle, take er slow. Mediation is . . . ah . . . no where in the mix now. It's all just thrashing forward. I only offer this in case anyone else is experiencing "the twilight zone" effect. Thing is, TZ is pretty normal this week in my life. . . 1956, guess that's a Neptune lunar hit, so like did I really know what was going on before or was that just an illusion?

Hi WHR - Therefore the Sun at the coming Full Moon is conjunct your Mars-Neptune, which will vitalize and illuminate that area of your life. It'll be a "before the beginning" time for you, since you're getting a new Solar Return fairly soon near the next New Moon. As for attributing qualities to trans-Neptunian objects, that's purely speculative. Not to sound too much like Andy Rooney, but I always wonder who invented the "meaning," and how they came to their conclusions. I usually reject any inferred attribute to a body or field that is wholly "good" or "bad." That's why I don't use Lilith. In the quote, everything there could be seen as a Mercury-Jupiter-Saturn dance. Mercury is the Cosmic Guide. Jupiter shows us possible "beyonds." Saturn defines boundaries and thresholds. Androgynous Mercury is truly the one who forever "gives from their souls to assist those who must cross a spiritual border." Yes, life is one long lesson in how to break on through to the other side, yeah. "You know that day destroys the night, night divides the day....."
Hi Beverly - I did mention those born in the 50s in the third paragraph. This New Moon conjuncted your Neptune.
Hi caliban - Breathing is always a good thing, if we consider the alternative!;-) Thresholds shows us the next step as we leave one area and enter another. When things are whirling around, sometimes it's best just to sit at the altar. Even as we crash forward, we can still be meditating. Twilight zones happen every so often to all of us so we don't stay stuck in linear mental traps. This one is showing you elements of your Neptune/Pluto dynamic, along with anything else in the late degrees of their signs.

Thanks Robert. As one who has Pluto "in play", the wise-perspective is very appropriate.
