Mars Retrograde Triseptile Jupiter in Pisces - The Dream Time Begins, Preparing Us For Interlocking Yods, or Fingers of God

This is a crucial turning point in choices that will shape our destiny over the next 5 months. Though we're enduring "traffic jams," ultimately this is making our life a work of art through the emotional intensity we're dealing with.

This triseptile is the second in the series. The first occurred in late September-early October. This RX triseptile gives us another look at the choices we made then. The final triseptile will occur in June 2010, when we'll have to be practical (Mars in Virgo) regarding what decisions were first felt to be a necessity (Mars in Cancer last Autumn) and are now being taken to heart in a form of power (Mars in Leo.)

This is most affecting those with planets or sensitive points a degree or 2 to either side of 4 Pisces, 26 Aries, 17 Gemini, 9 Leo, 1 Libra, 22 Scorpio, and 13 Capricorn. Choices and actions made now impact what forms are revealed in March and early April that will move forward late July and early August.

We now prepare to enter a 2 week period where there will be 2 interlocking "Fingers of God," or Yod configurations. One Yod will involve Jupiter sextile Pluto with Mars RX making the double quincunx "nozzle." The other involves Mars RX in Leo sextile Saturn, with Jupiter making the double quincunx and serving as the nozzle.

I'll write more on this remarkable and rare configuration in future articles. For now, I'll leave you with something to ponder. Whatever multiple sacrifices you must make will squeeze out whatever doesn't further your productivity in making your new archetype real or which would hinder you in asserting what you need to in order to take charge of your evolving life.

While there will be "forced adjustments," many of these will help us master discouragement, get what we need, and find a new sense of permanence or a new dedication to some collective ideal or standards. This is a time when we can demonstrate our ability to express a form of "higher power," as well as add to our lives through renewed commitments.

Thanks for your words of wisdom - this triseptile is affecting heaps of areas in my chart - my ascendant is 8 Leo, my sun is 13 Capricorn and my north node is 15 Gemini - I am feeling so much pressure right now. I can relate to what you said about having to make decisions in Septmeber and October 09 but now they are coming into fruition I really feel that I have made the wrong choices .... like from being in the frying pan and going into the fire. It's a really intense time for me.

Hi Jessi - You're most welcome. Mars (and any other planet) waning biseptiles your Asc between 6-10 degrees of Leo. Waxing is between 30 Aquarius and 4 Pisces, right where Jupiter is right now, creating a type of "Kite" configuration. This shows you're at a critical fork in your self image through the events of your 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 9th houses! The first Leo/9th house fork in your road was November. This is the second. You'll move into the destiny shaped by the choices you made in these periods in April.

Hi Beccy - If you feel you made "wrong choices," then this is the time to take corrective action, preparing to do some things differently in the future. Jupiter favors Piscean strategies your Sun can use to reorganize the plan. February and March can be very productive and help you get unique gifts and qualities so you can move your new Leo self forward in April. Intensity can forge purpose out of intention.

Hi Cathy - With what's going on, of course it's major puzzle work! Perhaps you're doing better than you think relative to the whole. Sometimes when we're in the heart of the swirl it's difficult to see we're being moved toward our best interests. 12th house activity brings needed closures, broader perspectives on what motivates us, how we've jammed our gears or invited sorrow in our past, and seeing our life story as a greater mythos.

I've been home on my back for two days with what I am calling the intoxicated chicken flu. It started with a headache (very rarely get them, was ready to get an MRI or something until I talked to a friend north of here, who told me "it's going around here"), a thrashing headache, and when I stood up I had no legs, I was flopping around completely off balance. Too weird. Am hoping I am releasing now so I am ready to move forward.

This transiting yod is right on my natal yod! Jupiter is conj. my natal Moon, Mars on my Sun, and Saturn on my Jupiter. In my natal yod, both Sun and Jupiter are quincunx the Moon. Could you help me understand how to think about this aspect pattern/transit?

You went over some of these quincunxes in my reading but I'm not sure we talked about this yod on yod action. I've been listening to the reading and getting more out of it each time. Thanks again.

choosing to be positive toward someone who has been negative to me...
in transferring negativity to someone else, shows me that I allowed someone
to give it to me...and Im unconcious in my actions of choosing to give it
