The time span between May 6-9 is peculiar in some obscure ways. It's a perfect example of a time when the major frictional aspects are separating but there are a couple of very important things going on nonetheless that will have a major impact over the next 4 months.
First, we have an exact Mercury retrograde biseptile Mars. This is a review or revisiting of a turning point, where our Mercury related areas and planets are now returning to a turning point in order to: a) find our "pot of gold at the end of the rainbow," i.e., find something of wealth or value relative to b) the "joy and power of new beginnings."
So I believe this is a fork in the road regarding how we're using what we have or value to embrace a new beginning. That beginning is somehow related to a new beginning that happened in late November 2009, but something else had to happen before now so we can move into it. That was what mid-January was about.
This biseptile impacts planets and angles involving a degree or two to either side of 4 Taurus, 25 Gemini, 16 Leo, 7 Libra, 29 Scorpio, 20 Capricorn, and 12 Pisces. We are revisiting something in the Taurus, Gemini, and Virgo areas that puts our Aries, Leo, and Scorpio sectors at a fork in the road.
This will impact our resources and creative or heart expression in the future. Expect significant developments related to these choices around June 15-17, 22-23, 27-28, and July 17-18, with special focus on Aug 6-14, when the Sun, Mars, and Venus all trigger points in the series. This becomes crystallized in September in a big way for all of us wherever we have early Libra in our chart.
For tracking purposes, the first Mercury biseptile Mars happened in late March from mid-Aries to 2 Leo, this is the retrograde second biseptile from early Taurus to mid-Leo, and the third one in this series will happen in late May from mid-Taurus to late Leo. So forks in the road we confronted in late March are now impacting the present, and what we come up with at present will become active parts of our lives in late May.
The second significant aspect is the present Venus biseptile Saturn. This is a Venusian "destiny-producing" expression preceding the culmination of this Venus-Saturn cycle, and marks a turning point in our Taurus, Gemini, and Libra related areas and planets relative to our Virgo, Capricorn, and Aquarius related areas and planets.
This is a fork in the road regarding what we value and how we use it relative to our sense of purpose or responsibilities we've carried for a few years. This is helping us to see a broader view, a wider truth, or greater future helping us break free of narrow views of the "archetypal" vision we began to move toward in April 2009.
This biseptile impacts planets and angles involving a degree or two to either side of 16 Gemini, 7 Leo, 29 Virgo, 20 Scorpio, 11 Capricorn, 2 Pisces, and 24 Aries. As you can see, this sequence of degrees will be triggered before the previous series involving the points activated by Mercury and Mars. That means the Mercury-Mars septile zones will be activated following this series, giving us a "one-two" beat that will show as major decisions involving a lot of areas of our charts.
These times will include all of May, June, and the first 3 weeks of July. Specific hot zones of choice and change include June 4-6 and 18-20, July 12-13 and especially July 25-30, and August 3-7. Thus taking the two sequences together it would seem that it will be particularly important to make careful choices at major shifts coming June 15-23, July 25-30, and August 3-14, all based in what's going on right now in the second week of May.
At present Mars is assisted by Venus, and Mercury by Saturn and Pluto, helping these energies to a greater productive specialized stability. This is most beneficial to those with planets in mid-Aries, mid-Gemini, mid-Leo, mid-Libra, mid-Sagittarius, and mid-Aquarius, as well as the early degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces.
Those under most stress continue to be people with planets in mid-Taurus, mid-Leo, mid-Scorpio, and mid-Aquarius (mid-Leo and Aquarius are both building and releasing simultaneously!), as well as any planets we may have in late Gemini, late Virgo, late Sagittarius, and late Pisces. Thus it's easy to see that every sign is being impacted at present.
So though the obviously forceful aspects such as Sun square Mars and Saturn opposition Uranus are now separating, this is one of those obscure periods when a lot is getting set into motion, even if there are few if any significant frictional aspects throwing us into the breach. Again, note the choices available as you confront your forks in the road, and be thoughtful as to what you want to see made manifest even as you stand on the threshold of a new world emerging in a few weeks.

Hi Robert & all... Fascinating & informative as always - many thanks Robert. I'm not greatly 'into' politics but here in the UK we've just had the General Election & a big baloo as we've now got a 'hung' parliament! There were problems re people not getting to vote in time at some polling stations. All i could think was Saturn (Electoral system failing)oppose Uranus ( many surprises re those elected/not) all during a Mercury Retro TOO! Having read the above i'm just purusing all the ways in which this may effect the UK!!!
'... the times they are a changing...' yeh?
Love & namaste to all & hooray for this splendid community Hx

Your Highness,
What about we generational Plutonians in Leo at 17 and though I know you don't hold too much to the vertex...I'm curious that I do have a 7 degree v in 6th house libra?
Many thanks for these string of articles you're been blastin' us with!

Chickie, I love that phrase...."for these string of articles you've been blastin' us with!" That is exactly how I've been feeling from all Robert's been saying lately. Blasted and slightly Frosted. Phew! Amazing times of great opportunity for all if we but move in the direction of our dreams.

Thanks Robert!
Need every bit of your wisdom guidance right now. My 1 degree Aries moon is being hammered by the Uranus Saturn opposition. I just hanging on and digging in emotionally for the coming Jupiter Uranus conjunction. Thanks for your
celestial GPS. So helpful in charting a course through these intense times!

Hi Robert,
I hope you can clarify something for me regarding "houses". My first house (ascendant) is at Pisces at 23 degrees and goes through to 3 degrees Taurus. Does that mean that when Uranus and Jupiter move into Aries I will still be affected? How does that work? Thank you for answering. I read your site daily.

Robert,
Though we will all be impacted, how will this effect those of us having a solar return about the beginning to this meet up at the first of June.

Hi Robert:
Thanks for always putting stuff out there! You are always right on target with your elegant way of expressing the planetary energies. Thanks again. The upcoming Uranus- Jupiter conjunction has been on my mind. I have a son born 11/11/1988 with his natal mars at 0-1 degrees aries. I have been talking to him about the energies for him to ''hang on'' because its going to be a wild ride for awhile. Its very hard to tell anyone with mars in aries to hold on and wait. It seems to be a huge shift for every one on the planet right now.
Peace Pamela

Hi H - Welcome to the instability of our times. "Labour is out, Tories are in, Tories are out, Labour is in, and round and round it goes." This will present an interesting conundrum for the UK, thanks to the clueless Mr. Clegg. Thanks for checking in from the ancient highlands.
Hi chickie - Feeling a little blasted meself with 50-70 mph winds almost a constant. Shredded the leaves right off the tomato stalks. Ugh. I really cannot comment on the "vertex" since I do not ascribe to the notion that there is any point in the chart that is out of our control, to whatever degree our Higher Self is able to shift material patterns.
Hi Sue Moon - The time is short, and I post what I can. So if the intensity grows, it's only because I am striving to "keep up with the times." Occasionally I feel a bit toasted as well, given the 50-70 mph constant winds. Right now am dealing with a cheap but brutal outdoor "face peeling" that just happened!
Hi Bruce Kaiser - This will bring forth awareness that will separate you from many things of your past, as well as emotional habits, preparing you for new adventures in just a few weeks. Be free! Since you're on the verge of liberation, you may as well enjoy the adventure, since that will help you instruct those who also walk your "Way."
Hi Cindy - That means you have Pisces rising and Aries intercepted in your first house (and Libra intercepted in your 7th.) Yes, you will most definitely still be affected, just a different quality. Up to now, and coming this Autumn, you will finish up the Pisces/Virgo oppositional energies you've been dealing with for a while. When they move into Aries you will experience yourself in entirely new ways. This will prepare you for a new life adventure in 2011.
Hi Victoria - Depending on how these energies configure with your natal and progressed planets, that will determine the effect. A Solar Return is quite specific, so I really don't know how this set of configurations will affect those with SR events in early June.
Hi andreas - You're most welcome. Definitely I accept your prayers and blessings, in the name of us ALL. Given we're all in this together, and in the midst of the Great Transition, may your love and wisdom be multiplied and bless all others within your Spiritual field.
Hi Pamela - Thanks for your praise of the work. He is awakening to an entirely original expression of his initiatives. As I have Mars in Aries, I can affirm that in fact we do need to learn a little restraint from time to time! ;-) Give him something original to do, without playing to the power struggle. And with Jupiter there, open him to higher teachings, however he individually finds them to his liking. Aum Shanti to you as well.
