In part 1 we explored some fundamentals of the coming Lunar Eclipse. So what else can we expect from this Winter's Full Moon Eclipse? Look for a blessing that offers you ideas and visions of a new standard of living. Of course, there's more!
(If you haven't read Part 1, please check it out first, since that lays the foundation for the following information. Of course, you can always read this first and then part 1 since it is a Mercury retrograde!;-))
For most, impending major transformations and trials of endurance demonstrating your embrace of new patterns of personal power and acceptance of new responsibilities which should be seen as the blessings they are. Respond appropriately to who you are and who you would become with an eye to creative visualization as a means to achieve dominion over circumstances.
Since these changes were set into motion over the past 3 years, keep moving with the emerging tides and pulses of individual expansion while saying goodbye to old ways of living your individuality. Be the sculptor of your destiny, expressing your uniqueness through genuine self-expression, and if you're in a teaching or service position, allow your best and highest standards in as many ways as you can.
Those who are not in balance or out of their integrity can expect direct expressions of a new law, and will go through withdrawing into powerlessness or will find others are withdrawing from them. Some "ego pomposities" will be punctured, with expanding growth away from that which secures and nurtures. When this is the case, note that their gardens are again becoming wildernesses, and coarseness demonstrated rather than grace.
The Eclipse Sun is just past its inferior conjunction with Mercury, in a separating conjunction with Moon at 30 Gemini conjunct the South Node at 3 Cancer. Of importance is that just before this Full Moon, a very powerful Mutable T-square was formed by the Sun and Mercury squares to Jupiter and Uranus.
Though separating aspects indicate events in the recent past, when the Moon made its squares to Jupiter and Uranus while opposing Mercury just before opposing the Sun, it affected a "translation of light" and refocusing those square energies in a dynamic T-square, throwing the voids into late Virgo. This released and challenged those lessons we all learned when Saturn was in that zone in 2009-2010.
The void of a T-square shows both the problem and the solution to correct release of those integrative energies. These mostly separating mutable squares clearly indicate we're almost finished with a time of ending ambivalence, procrastination, worry, taking counterproductive contradictory directions, or being unnecessarily nitpicky or focused too narrowly. Our recent past has broken up many things, flinging them and us into different directions than before.
Only Mercury retrograde square Jupiter is forming, showing things to come. This "conflict of the Higher and lower Minds" will help us see things as they truly are so we may reach out to a wider social sphere and effectiveness, as well as lead us into a greater form of worldly service while refining our individuality.
Apart from the Eclipse effect, since Mercury is retrograde we will no doubt be experiencing echoes of the Mutable squares for months to come. We will get another chance to "do the energies effectively" when Mercury again makes the squares to Jupiter and Uranus in January 2011, and will be able to demonstrate what we've learned through Venusian energies and situations when Venus moves through very late Sagittarius in late January and early February 2011.
Then when the planets all move through late Pisces, we'll have the ability to use our Jupiter conjunct Uranus in Pisces lessons to flow into new expansive innovative roles as they'll be revealed through this Lunar Eclipse effect. The next step in our showing the world these new standards and roles will be when the inner planets move through late Gemini, triggering the Lunar degree effect in this Eclipse.
On another important note, Since this Lunation falls on the culminating degrees of Sagittarius and Gemini, it shows the natural fulfillment of the archetypal roles the signs indicate. What is coming forth from this Full Moon will show us how our process of seeing and living a greater Truth and Life can use ideas to express our Soul in many diverse ways.
It is interesting to note that technically the Moon is Void of Course. Does that mean nothing significant will come of this Full Moon? That would be a very narrow and probably inaccurate way of interpreting this supposedly VOC Moon, since VOC Full Moons happened in October and November 2010, and will occur in February, April, and May 2011. Can anyone really say that nothing significant has happened since October?!
As an aside, besides the objections I raised in my articles on the Void of Course Moon, historically the VOC Moon was used ONLY in Horary Astrology before the latter part of the 20th century. That would seemingly limit the validity in applying it in the other branches of Astrology, including any evaluation of a Lunation where the Moon falls in the final degree(s) of a sign.
This Lunation finds the Moon in the last degree of Gemini, making no forming aspects except an "out of sign" opposition to Pluto. This shows a future event, but only after a significant change occurs that forces us all to make a critical decision, or do some form of fundamental reorientation after we get some new life standards.
Other significant forming aspects in this Eclipse affecting us for the next 5 1/2 months include Mars quintile Jupiter and Uranus while square Saturn and semisquare Neptune, Jupiter quadranovile Saturn while conjunct Uranus, Saturn quadranovile Uranus, and as always, the 10,000 pound gorilla lurking in the background, an exact Neptune septile Pluto keeping the Grand Irrationality front and center.
Venus is separating from both Neptune and Pluto, but also occupying the heart of the the Scorpio hot zone of the Grand Irrationality, making it a prominent factor in recent and current changes for all of us. Many of the aspects mentioned above were active in the recent Inferior conjunction of Mercury and the Sun. You can find more about all these aspects in the recent article, Mercury Retrograde in December 2010 - How Will The Inferior Conjunction in Sagittarius Manifest in the Future?
As the binovile between Uranus and Pluto is now ending, a very wide but out of sign square begins to return. This will be a very weak influence for the next two months, but after Uranus again re-enters Aries in March look out! This will be the timekeeper in the major global shifts we'll confront from here through 2013.
I wrote a lot about Uranus square Pluto and other major frictional aspects associated with the global discontent and disruption leading us to the New Era in The Coming Cardinal Squares and Crosses of Saturn in Libra, Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries 2009-2010-2011-2012-2013 and more particularly in Explaining the Squares and Oppositions of 2009-2010-2011-2012-2013 Pt.3 - Uranus in Aries Square Pluto in Capricorn.
Of course, Summer 2010 ushered in glimpses of the new Way, but we've had to finish up some things while slowly and steadily embracing a new Archetype of Being since August. Through the challenges and changes since then, what was left behind and what was integrated through the Summer Eclipse squares and oppositions, we have been led to freedom from old social norms and offered opportunities to commune in fellowship with others who share our wisdom, heart strength, and commitment to a shared "greatness."
This Eclipse is a very different Jones Pattern than those past, being a Splay. This triangulated pattern binds together widely disparate energies, where some things don't mesh well with other areas. Expect dramatically different experiences and people to feature in how this manifests, and use the imbalances to achieve rhythmic steady growth. Many will retire from old dramas and get fit in some way to do a larger work than before now.
Jupiter and Mercury are rulers of this eclipse, and are in dynamic square. That makes what I wrote earlier of even greater importance, and I'll again stress that using good Virgo traits and skills will be all-important in using this Eclipse productively. The next 5 1/2 months will educate us in forms of excellence, so that we may find our individual way of expressing ourselves in greater service to humanity however that works in our lives.
As mentioned earlier, this Eclipse (as with all major events of the past 15 years!) and the coming Solar Eclipse feature Neptune and Pluto in septile, thus stimulating "The Grand Irrationality." This one brings this configuration to the fore, since Venus is sitting on the same degree that it conjoined Mars in October which launched this phase of critical choices and changes determining our future destinies.
Besides elaborating on this effect in the recent article on the Inferior Conjunction of Sun and Mercury, you can find more about the recent activity of this years-long ongoing configuration at Spiritual Astrology in November-December 2010 part 1 - The Grand Irrationality and Forks in the Road for All Signs - An Overview and its companion article, Spiritual Astrology in November-December 2010 part 2 - The Grand Irrationality and When It Will Be Set Into Motion For Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces
This eclipse blesses us to move into newer, higher, more excellent realms of self-expression. As we continue to move through "the end of the end," those with intuitive skills may glimpse the vast subtle transitional energies moving us out of the Age of Pisces into the Age of Aquarius.
All in all, I believe this will prove to be a great Lunar Eclipse, where we'll begin to lay down old burdens and embrace newer, higher, freer Truths and adventures in Consciousness. It's also a prelude to the coming powerful Solar Eclipse which will end old authorities, showing us glimpses of our immortality and views of past and present revealing permanent personally relevant symbols and expressions.
In Part 3 we'll explore more about the qualities of this Lunar Eclipse via an in-depth look at the Sabian Symbols and other important chart factors. These indicate we'll definitely be culminating a vision and how to express it with excellence, leading us out into the world of greater service. Recent additions and commitments in our lives show us how to move into a final preparation period before the mass consciousness is aligned with the Precessional Point of the transition of the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius.
This Eclipse period is one of distributing energies showing how we've chosen to live the world teachings poured out during the past Christ Fest of late May 2010. As it also illuminates the energies of the Galactic Center, get ready for a new adventure in expanding into a greater Truth and Way. We're now moving into the higher reaches of the new Archetypes of Being we rehearsed late last year and early this year and began to live in August.

Sh*tstorms everywhere...I'm noticing a LOT of close friends struggling - health issues, suicides, divorce, death...sorry, but it hasn't been great by any stretch. These endings are so painful.
Of course, the endings will make way for new beginnings but first, we must grieve the loss.
Here's hoping the "bad" news ends tonight.
