Astrology in early March 2011 - Jupiter is still square Pluto, so be alert!

This is a quick look at a huge influence for good or ill. Jupiter has been waxing square to Pluto since it first entered Aries in late January, with major implications for all signs and birth charts!

Pluto represents the Divine Seeds of Eternal Transformation, and in Capricorn shows the major changes going on in all organized systems governed by rules. These are long term Galactic Center influences showing us a new life order. You can find more about the long term changes implied by Pluto conjunct the Galactic Center by going to the archives. These are now well established as "seed forms," and it's easy to see the positive and negative associations with these by looking at the major transformations going on in our world.

When the various planets make waxing ("lower") squares to another planet, it brings forth emergent forms that then show the "ground" for other changes related to that cycle in the future. Squares can bring friction, but also the turning of corners and/or putting the brakes on something.

The current Jupiter square Pluto indicates that process is happening for everyone. Since aspects are most intense within a degree and a half both forming and separating, because Jupiter is just separating from the exact square, we are now in the heart of a conflict or emergent turning point wherever these fall in our chart affecting the houses these planets rule.

The effect will be most obvious in Jupiter ruled houses, because Pluto's influence via the houses it rules, those with Aries and Scorpio on the cusp, are more long wave and spiritual in their influence.

The square became most intense mid-February, and was exact from 8 Aries to 8 Capricorn on Feb 25/26. It will be within the degree and a half orb through March 5, so this week will be very portentous in many ways. Some lessons include not being deflected into schemes and views that work against your best interests, and keep everything open and above board when dealing with others. This can show opportunities that are not opportunities, or the emergence of life transforming expansions or adventures.

Everything depends on how your expansive view works with economy of energy, or violates that Divine Law. Other themes of this square include finding ways to begin anew in some important life area, and by imitating patterns, we can grow into new ways of experiencing a new sense of self or a new life direction now emerging in a big way as a promise, truth, or vision.

Those people most affected will be those with natal or progressed planets to a few degrees of either side of this square, i.e., anyone with planets between 5-11 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. This marks a point of emergence where the promise must be steered with discipline, clarity, organization, a sense of rhythm and proportion, and an eye to priority of needs.

Do not take any unnecessary risks or gambles, become more one pointed in your focus, be receptive to Eastern Wisdom energies, attune to the highest levels of aspiration, and see the seeds of roles you can play that will lead to you being happier. Here you can take a turn toward a better wisdom, a more fulfilling role in the world, a more effective and genuine expression of your Self, and relax into a comfortably integrated personality. This promises a great happiness for those who see a more authentic future and new way of embracing the adventure of being a Spirit in the material world.

This sets the wave form for all the squares to Pluto from Mercury, the Sun, Mars, and Venus over the next few weeks. (I'll be posting an article about this huge cluster in Aries in the near future.) Just realize this particular Jupiter square Pluto activates the above degree spans, whose lessons and possibilities will be set into motion (approximately) March 12-14, March 27-29, April 9-12, and April 26-29.

Saturn will then "fix the pattern" when it goes stationary direct at 11 Libra in June. As Mercury and then the Sun move through the Cancer sensitive zone in late June, this indicates that what emerges in Aries will come to the surface in some way, or show us the needs related to what is emerging in Aries forms over the next few weeks. By the time Venus and then Mars also move through 5-11 Cancer in July and August, our new "emergent reality" we're moving into now will be well established.

This is the moment! See the past 5 days and the next 5 days as the point where everything shifts toward the new. Just get ready to learn and understand more the second week of March, since that's the next point when these energies reveal themselves just before Mercury conjuncts Jupiter showing the next step into the adventure!

Hi all again - Glad this article helps explain why the energies feel like they've turned a corner, even if we're all waiting for local conditions to catch up! Sometime it's all a matter of perspective....

While many astrologers get paranoid and won't let their birth info be known, I've posted my stats several times before, since it may provide some useful delineation lessons for those who think "frictional" aspects must be "bad." I was born April 1, 1951, 1:13:40 pm, Upland (Chester) PA. It's a chart that truly illustrates that a) what doesn't kill a being makes them stronger, b) no amount of "afflictions" can keep the Spirit from expression, c) oppositions can be a blessing leading to Self-realization, and d) T-squares can be powerful forces for personality integration and release of our higher potential.
