Part 1 covered many essential elements of Pisces New Moon. Today we'll discuss significant aspects, degree symbols, and other important factors in this month's Lunation chart which will bring all of us to a point of true clarity.
Remember that in reading a Lunation chart (as well as a horary, inceptional, electional, or any event chart) the forming aspects show things to come, while separating aspects show things already past. This New Moon makes several very important forming aspects.
The Sun/Moon are in mid-Pisces, in the heart of a cluster ("stellium") of planets including Chiron (2 Pisces), Mars (8), the Lunation (14), Mercury (21), and Uranus (30 Pisces.) Though some of the aspects to the Sun and Moon are separating, they are still going to be triggered each time the Moon makes a significant angle to any of these listed points. This is going to demonstrate as a very "crowded house" wherever this stellium falls in our charts, and is the clear focus for the next 4 weeks.
Since the Moon forms a conjunction with Mercury and Mercury is within orb of a conjunction with Uranus, it collects the light and makes for a very wide and very powerful conjunction involving the Moon, Sun, Mercury, and Uranus. Thus the affairs of the houses where we have Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo will all be impacted by events connected to the house(s) where we have Pisces.
There are quite a few forming aspects in this chart. Besides what I've just written, we see the Moon and Sun in a wide quincunx to Saturn, the nozzle planet for the whole chart. That implies some "forced adjustments" in our on-going Saturn affairs and lessons.
Primary lessons will be to allow our Soul to speak its truth while participating in a form of collective "rebirth," and finding a "live and let live" attitude, return to "simpler joys for pleasure and revitalization" as we prepare to renew the Eternal battle between the Higher and the lower, the material and the Spiritual. Given where Saturn is, it will probably show as something needing to be ended to ensure the balanced "health" of whatever emergent archetypes and roles Saturn has shown us the past year.
This is the final Lunation in Pisces that will be conjunct Uranus also in that sign. Welcome to the 8th New Moon conjunct Uranus! Each year when the Sun conjuncts Pluto (December since 2008, January beginning 2013), conjuncts Neptune (February), and conjuncts Uranus (March), the light of these outer, invisible "Spiritual Triad" planets is renewed for the next year.
This is the last illumination of Uranus in Pisces energies for about 77 years, and this year will be unusual since while the year begins by vitalizing innovative or revolutionizing Pisces energies, Uranus will quickly slip into Aries where it will stay for the next 7 years. So this New Moon will be one where we can all individualize along lines we glimpsed between April and September 2010. This month is an opportunity to demonstrate we can live a new set of more spiritual life rules and standards.
The only major separating aspects to the Lunation (indicating recent events) is the Moon novile Venus and the New Moon conjunction to Mars. Other significant separating aspects are Mercury in close triseptile to Saturn and quintile to Pluto, Mars sextile Pluto, Jupiter square Pluto, and Saturn binovile Pluto.
Though separating aspects show activity in the past, some of these are so closely separating that it indicates we're in the heart of the energy! This applies to all of the above except Jupiter conjunct Uranus.
The forming aspects, showing things to come, include Mercury conjunct Uranus, Venus novile the Sun, sextile Jupiter and tredecile Saturn, and Jupiter opposing Saturn while novile Neptune. Of these, Venus novile Sun, Venus tredecile Saturn, and Jupiter novile Neptune are the strongest.
These show an amazingly spiritual period where much that we've been waiting for will become clear, and serendipity will show itself in ways of healing body, feelings, and mind, whether in the personal or interpersonal realms. There are gifts to be found, unique circumstances perfect for your unique qualities, and healing through retiring from old dramas and views.
Those most likely to find themselves in very specialized conditions are those with planets around 15-17 degrees of Libra and Aries, as well as 3-5 Aquarius and Leo. Pay attention to unique situations, as these can help to balance something, reap favorable consequences, or help you "get in shape" through repairing something or renewing an important responsibility.
Those with the highest probability of finding major revelations connected to opportunity or collective roles to play are those with planets around 8-10 degrees of Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius, 18-20 of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn, and 28-30 of Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. Those with the highest probability of finding healing, integration, or something of major value are those with planets around 3-5 Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius, 13-15 Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, and 23-25 Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.
Some of the lessons of this Lunation chart show that we must see clearly where our best interests are, and continue not be seduced into corrosive, dishonest, or risky situations. See the larger life you want to live and the new day that's dawning, accept the new law allowing you to do that in open, honest, and above-board ways, and stay balanced as you learn to concentrate to see the whole picture.
All of us confront the need for balance as we enthusiastically embrace new lives, new truths, and new possibilities. We are all learning to open to new creative challenges, new ideals of self-representation, and find a true justification for a cherished ambition. If any sense of defeatism or discouragement comes up, examine how your values and ambitions are out of alignment, and you'll be back on track in short order.
As Mercury is barely separating from a biseptile to Saturn, it shows we've all very recently hit a fork in the road relative to how our Mercury is expressing our Saturn. Those most likely to feel at a crossroads where things aren't making much sense are people with planets or points around 16-18 Libra, 7-9 Sagittarius, 29-30 Capricorn, 21-23 Pisces, 12-14 Taurus, 3-5 Cancer, and 24-26 Leo.
This is the first Lunation where the North Node is in Sagittarius after a long stay in Capricorn. That indicates the growth of the Plutonic seeds planted back when Pluto was conjunct the Galactic Center in very late Sagittarius and early Capricorn. The January and February 2011 Lunations had the North Node in early Capricorn, developing those Pluto in Capricorn seeds. Now it will begin to develop Plutonic seeds from 2007-2008, moving many into their blessings and showing why we had to "get fit."
As Jupiter is at the beginning of Aries, this Lunation continues to open the themes associated with Jupiterian energies we were introduced to in June, July, and August 2010. However, as Uranus is in the final degrees of Pisces, we will also be dealing with echoes of Uranian patterns freeing our individuality we first experienced in April and May of 2010, then experienced from a different angle in September and October 2010. This is moving us forward through deep, vast, and broad feelings, helping us let go of whatever we no longer need so that we can embrace the new initiatives already presenting themselves.
A New Moon sets the seed forms for what the following 4 weeks will demonstrate. This New Moon falls at 14 Pisces. According to Rudhyar this degree is one of "necessary superficial advertisement of inner worth," "certification of true merit," "schooled esteem," and "embarrassing wealth."
He goes on to state that this degree is about "the use of intelligence and mental subtlety as a protection against storms and trials." This is a technique of using spiritual will, courage, cleverness, and adaptability to move through the trials of life.
Here we find protective "camouflage" to keep us safe from unnecessary hardships. Get your protective shields in place and don't take unnecessary risks as you move toward your "consecrated role." He says it falls in the span of Innocence, the Act of Capitalization, and the Scene of Federation on the Individual-Mental level.
According to Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, we find the Lunation degree is "A lady in fox fur," showing us how being "in style" helps us "express opinions of momentary weight." He tells us that we are endowed and strengthened through what we possess, as well as what we "do and think in common," though this is also a "bondage" unless we are also able to see how this creatively contributes to our experience.
He goes on to say "The self gains integrity as it learns never to surrender its initiative." The keyword is TASTEFULNESS. When positive, this degree is said to be "high accomplishment through a consistent representation of the self's assets in the best possible light."
So this is a Lunation where we can find and use techniques helping us find tasteful ways to display our assets while still hiding ourselves from hurtful elements. Here we intuit how to find a style we can live with, and find those who think as we do so we all can find ways this contributes to our experience creatively. Ours and others' merit will become very clear over the next few weeks.
This is truly the end of the end, since the next Lunation will be conjunct Jupiter powering up the adventure! There is genius, inspiration, and major shifts in what we value and what we display promised by this New Moon, and our willingness to find and maintain equipoise will show us new rhythms of doing our being on our own terms.
There are 6 planets in Water signs, 1 in Fire, 3 in Air, and 1 in Earth. This preponderance of Water indicates a lot of very vast and universal feelings in the atmosphere, and with 3 planets in Air there should be a lot of positive and unique communication and relationship energy opening relationships. Due to the insufficiency of Fire and Earth, try to keep the Jupiter inspiration going despite the vagueness of so much Pisces energy, and keep things as practical, organized, and efficient as you can.
In the past months we've learned how to make many types of adjustments in perspective and how we relate to create a better world for ourselves in connection with others. Now that we're totally inside the new archetypal roles we explored in 2009-2010, we can use gentle and balanced forms of will power, training, maturity, and sense of our new roles to play to move into new vistas, new worlds, new lives, and new ways of doing our Being.
The next 4 weeks is a time to be clear about what is ending and what is opening, as well as how we are one with all of humanity. Some will feel timeless feelings common to all humans across the centuries. Others will see a vast view allowing them to bring closure to ancient sorrows and wounds. Still others will find a more effective compassion and a greater power to touch others through words and ideas that touch on very deep levels.
Uranus is offering us one last time of "visualizing and sounding the higher law" of our individual Being that will bring forth new forms in our lives in the future. Many can find very high inspiration and unique flashes of insight into vast realms through Mercury conjunct Uranus. As the Sun, then Mars, and then Venus transit the last third of Pisces, these unique insights and ideas will take clearer shape.
Since this is "the end of the end" and the beginning of the beginning, find balanced perspectives about what's happened and why, and retire from things you've already learned from. Adjust your energy to work productively with a greater heart energy that will help you simplify things to enjoy them more and become more sure of yourself.
This is a time to flow with your feelings into decisions and actions. Then find new information, new ideas, new perspectives, and a new vision. We can all use this Lunation to achieve greater clarity in many life areas, and bless the passages while preparing for the extraordinarily dynamic and compressed activities coming at us like an express train!
We can now let go of old forms and begin to embrace the new life already unfolding. With the Light of Pisces shining on us, here we can become more deeply compassionate, feel more universal feelings, and flow within the whole into a new life with new activities.
Due to the universality of Pisces, we can remember that we are not separate from God, Truth, life, others or ourselves regardless of the temporary lapses in perception. We can end old patterns not appropriate to our emerging Archetypes of self-expression, and by anticipating what's coming, catch glimpses of the larger oceanic field we're a part of.
This period will help us make adjustments to further our emergent archetypes in productive ways. We saw the emergence of concrete forms of those images from August 2010 to January 2011, and now need to bless what must end to clear the decks for the larger vision and life set into motion in 2009-2010.
While keeping your eye on the greater connectivity and ideal, say goodbye to whatever needs releasing or forgiving. Whatever we dreamed in May 2010 and got new perspectives on in September 2010 has now entered a new phase of growth. Here we can "GET IT ON" with grace, style, elegance, faith, and focused intention.
When Saturn went stationary retrograde at 18 Libra in January 2011, it set patterns into motion that will last for the next 6 months. For more about Saturn's energy at 18 Libra as the nozzle for the other planets setting up what we're all learning:
