Part 1 covered many essential elements of this Aries New Moon. Today we'll discuss significant aspects, degree symbols, and other important factors in this month's Lunation chart which will bring all of us to a point of true clarity.
Remember that in reading a Lunation chart (as well as a horary, inceptional, electional, or any event chart) the forming aspects show things to come, while separating aspects show things already past. This New Moon makes several very important forming aspects.
The Sun/Moon are in mid-Aries, in the heart of a cluster ("stellium") of planets including Mars and Uranus (2 Aries), Jupiter (16 Aries), and Mercury (24 Aries). There are many forming aspects by the Sun and Moon and other planets in this chart, with major effects to be triggered each time the Moon moves through Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn due to aspects to Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto.
In any case, wherever we have Aries in our charts is going to be a very "crowded house," with effects to play out wherever Saturn is transiting in our chart. The general theme is that we can find enormous strength over the next 4 weeks, either leading us to a more mature and structured peace in our lives, or using peace, we can find a new inner strength we can use to deal with our world.
Since the Lunation forms a conjunction with Jupiter and Mercury and Mars is conjunct Uranus forming a wide conjunction with Jupiter, there is a very powerful "collection of light" making for a very wide and very powerful conjunction involving the Moon, Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus. Thus the affairs of the houses where we have Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces will all be impacted by events connected to the house(s) where we have Aries.
There are quite a few forming aspects in this chart. Besides what I've just written, we see the Moon and Sun in a very close opposition to Saturn and semisquare to Neptune. This implies everyone will have to let go of lesser obligations, duties, and fears in order to do more important work and become more mature in how we relate to others as equals and our universe as a vehicle for maturing into our Divine Estate.
This time is a challenge to get clear about what role we're playing and what our "mission" on Earth really is, as well as how to exercise our will clearly within the new archetypal roles and conditions. The "tension of opposites" will work between the Lunation and Saturn to show us how to take the initiative with balance, perspective, and grace. Simply, the Light will externalize through Saturn.
Due to the massive span in Aries mentioned above being held together by the Lunation, we also see Mercury and Mars both conjunct Jupiter and opposition Saturn, with Mercury septile Neptune and Jupiter opposition Saturn. Taken together, the primary lessons will be to find situations where our creativity can come forth, get our values and ambitions supporting each other, and not get discouraged when it seems success isn't worth the price.
Other primary lessons involve not getting too narrow in our interpretations, cultivating spiritual connections with others, being more optimistic and expansive in our view, and allowing concentrated doses of spiritual energy to shape our mind and perceptions. We also must be open to individualizing experiences without getting impulsive, willful, or eccentric, or getting trapped in having to deal with others who are this way.
This time is about us learning how to get behind inhibiting attitudes and circumstances, and getting the cooperation we need for pioneering or "front end" efforts, whether others understand them or not. This is when we must discover a justification for cherished ambitions, and by making definite basic personal decisions, integrate our sensitivity with our diversity of interests without getting discouraged in the process.
This should yield an ability to explain to others why we see opportunities the way we do. Through developing a deeper and wider insight into promise and possibility and sharing our sense of perspective and proportion, we can succeed in leaving behind the lesser and cutting loose into a greater adventure, vision, truth, or life opportunity.
As mentioned in part 1, the square from Mars/Uranus to Pluto will most impact people born in late March, late June, late September, and late December, those with sensitive planets or points in the first 9 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, as well as those with planets around 14-18 and 21-25 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Still, with so many planets in Aries opposed Saturn in Libra, it's safe to say that anyone with planets in Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn will be going through major changes with powerful polarizations bringing realizations along with many things surfacing!
Those who will find themselves in very specialized conditions are those with planets around 12-14 and 24-28 Gemini and Sagittarius and 1-5 Leo and Aquarius. Pay attention to unique situations, as these can help to balance something, reap favorable consequences, or help you initiate something through a type of repair work that assists in renewing an important responsibility or getting a new understanding about an old obligation, hinderance, or limitation.
To sum up what's been said up to now, all of us confront the need for balance as we enthusiastically embrace new lives, new truths, and new possibilities. We are all learning to open to new creative challenges, new ideals of self-representation, and find a true justification for a cherished ambition. If any sense of defeatism or discouragement comes up, examine how your values and ambitions are out of alignment, and you'll be back on track in short order.
A major factor still in play for the next few months is that when Saturn went stationary retrograde at 18 Libra in January 2011, it set patterns into motion that will last through September. For more about Saturn's energy at 18 Libra as the nozzle for the other planets setting up what we're all learning, please refer to the links posted at the bottom of part one of this New Moon set of articles posted yesterday.
As Mercury retrograde in this Lunation chart forms a septile to Neptune, we'll be getting roundabout or indirect messages giving us a bigger dose of spiritual energy or understanding, but these may come in strange or irrational forms. These signs and signals will be of major importance as the other planets in Aries all make their septiles to Neptune.
We were first exposed to something connected to these turning points in understanding our relationship to our light field between March 20-25. The next points where the septile to Neptune will be triggered are April 3-9 (Mercury RX septile Neptune), April 8-14 (Sun septile Neptune), April 16-May 8 (Jupiter septile Neptune), April 27-May 3 (Mars septile Neptune), and May 6-10 (Mercury and Venus both septile Neptune.)
Those most affected by this non-rational, "fork in the road" type of energy involving the Guide of Souls and Neptune at 30 Aquarius at the "cusp of the Age" are those with planets or points close to 29 Aquarius-4 Pisces, 21-26 Aries, 13-18 Gemini, 5-10 Leo, 26 Virgo-1 Libra, 17-22 Scorpio, and 8-13 Capricorn. Expect some fairly intense concentrated experiences shaping your relationship with the collective consciousness and/or your greater Spiritual "Light/Life Field."
A New Moon sets the seed forms for what the following 4 weeks will demonstrate. This New Moon falls at 14 Aries. According to Rudhyar this degree is one of "Fulfillment in truth," "Power of the higher wisdom manifest in the bi-polar nature," and "Protection by the higher genius of self."
He goes on to state that this degree is about "Identification in bipolar relationship with the impersonal rhythm of natural energy." This is a technique of accepting relationship from a cosmic angle of view, where polarized beings can accept their role within a natural larger life.
Here we find a "root fulfillment" in the conjunctio, the "Sacred Marriage" of the self with the Self. This symbol shows us how we can come out of the fear and shame of the original sin of hiding from our human divinity, and consciously participate with others in a greater evolutionary awareness.
Here we learn a technique within a "ritualization of relationship" to express our unique sensitivity to the Truth of the World Teacher/teaching as we know it. He says it falls in the span of Realization, the Process of Individualization, Act of Differentiation, and the Scene of Desire on the Individual-Mental level.
According to Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, we find the Lunation degree is "A serpent coiling near a man and a woman," showing us our "threefold nature" where "the emotional and rational elements of selfhood... achieve their unity through the creative ordering of a universal wisdom." Here we may follow what satisfies us in terms of "ordinary human appetites" as long as these are "a manifestation of a higher appreciation and a greater self-dedication."
The keyword is REVELATION. When positive, this degree is said to be an "exceptional self-discipline in the continual acquisition of a very real understanding."
So this is a Lunation where we can find a more cosmic way of viewing our interactions, and a greater "permanence in Truth." We can find protection in the genius of our Higher Self, and revelations of a greater understanding through self discipline. We can become our individuality within more significant relationships, and overcome fear by accepting our Divinity without need of hiding who we are.
There are 6 planets in Fire signs, 1 in Water, 2 in Air, and 1 in Earth. This preponderance of Fire indicates a lot of very excitable and inspirational energy, and with 2 planets in Air there should be a lot of positive and unique communication and relationship energy opening relationships. Due to the insufficiency of Water and Earth, try to use the compassion and depth feelings to drop all that is unnecessary or irrelevant to spur yourself toward attaining whatever goal you pursue. Pluto in Capricorn continues to teach us deep lessons about practical, organized economy of energy and efficiency in sprouting seed forms of roles we can relax into.
In the past months we've learned how to make many types of adjustments in perspective and how we relate to create a better world for ourselves in connection with others. Now that we're totally inside the new archetypal roles we explored in 2009-2010, we can use gentle and balanced forms of will power, training, maturity, and sense of our new roles to play to move into new vistas, new worlds, new lives, and new ways of doing our Being.
The next 4 weeks is a time to be review recent beginnings and open to getting a greater dose of spiritual energies, and rehearse scenarios about a more natural way of self expression. We can use humor to gain objectivity, and in practicing our unique individuality we can repotentialize our thinking and vision.
Adjust your perspective and become more natural. Open to remembering spiritual techniques from your past, or get a new look at old ideas and ways of coordinating your life on your terms. Be in your primal selfhood as you allow the ageless Divine Wisdom to act through you, and see all you have hidden from as the gateway to a "cosmification of desire."
This period will help us review ways to make our emergent archetypes more naturally suited to our authentic self. We saw the emergence of concrete forms of those images from August 2010 to January 2011, and now need to wholeheartedly embrace acting on the larger vision and life set into motion in 2009-2010.
While keeping your eye on a more natural and timeless way to relate to others (as well as your Divine Self), value what you said goodbye to and release all that you need to quicken whatever you would attain. Here we let go of fears and lesser chains, responsibilities, and obligations, and can see a timeless perspective, an eternal Wisdom, and a resonant relatedness despite limiting physical conditions. This can provide many with a shortcut to a more authentic and natural Soul expression.

Happy birthday Robert and may many of your wishes come true! I know I'm a little late, but it has been a very long time since I haven't read your postings... I'm happy I can enjoy them again, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
As for the events to come... well what can I say? Bring them on! With many changes that I did not wish for happening since last fall (I'm a cancer sun and leo rising), I think I can say that staying aloof is not an option.....

ThankYou Robert Wilkinson !!!
Always continue the climb. It is possible for you to do whatever you choose, if you first get to know who you are and are willing to work with a power that is greater than ourselves to do it. Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Hi Robert Suz-d here... you mention:
"wherever we have Aries in our charts is going to be a very "crowded house," with effects to play out wherever Saturn is transiting in our chart."
after reading what's going on in Aries, I glanced at my chart:
Venus in Aries at 16 degrees,
Mercury in Aries at 22 degree,
Saturn in Aries at 24 degrees,
Jupiter at 29 degrees in Pisces but appears to be in the same eleventh "house" as the rest of those Aries planets. venus and saturn are in trine to other planets, and jupiter opposing neptune...etc ... not quite sure what to expect or think about all this...! perhaps you might have a thought... in general, my intuition senses this may be a good year for my career... we'll see!
