The news just broke that Peter Falk, a truly amazing actor who graced us as Columbo and a great angel in the Wim Wenders classic "Wings of Desire," has just died. He was sick for awhile, so it's no surprise, but it's still sad that such great talent eventually passes away. RIP, Peter, and thanks for some classic lines and performances. "Never lament growing old - it's a privilege denied to many."
RIP Peter Falk!
I feel very moved, as I not only always enjoyed his work, but he also brings good memories. I was watching one episode of "Columbo" when my waters brioke before the birthof my eldest child! Funny, the things that come to mind when someone dies...
RIP...
Love

Oh no! Another one. :( Rest in peace Columbo and thanks for all the good memories.
So many of the oldies and goodies are dying lately - here in South Africa we've lost Ma Sisulu and Kadir Asmil, two great struggle heroes in the last few weeks. The great Nelson Mandela is a Cancer Sun and his Natal Pluto is in a fairly close orb to the July 1st eclipse...I can't bear to think any more on that...

Judy,
You are so right about Mandela! I am from Portugal and I love him dearly.
I feel the way you do about the way in which thiese aspects may affect him.
His is such a stature that the impact of his passing will be truly GLOBAL. But maybe we should concentrate on the POSITIVE impact which he undeniably also had in a global fashion.
Love,
Isabel
