We've just entered one of those interesting zones where along with the other two major irrationality configurations, we've just added a third for the next 5 days.
I'll compose the New Moon articles later today. For now, this is something obscure but very important!
The two major irrationality patterns going on right now involve The Grand Irrationality and the other major mojo of Jupiter triseptile Saturn, made very powerful in the July Full Moon due to the addition of Moon and Mercury to the mix. The first has been a constant in our world since 1995, and will last about 6 more. The second is a product of Jupiter cruising around 7-11 degrees of Taurus when Saturn is about 11-15 degrees of Libra.
The current hot zones of the Grand Irrationality are 4-8 Capricorn, 26-30 Aquarius, 17-21 Aries, 9-13 Gemini, 1-5 Leo, 22-26 Virgo, and 13-17 Scorpio.
The current hot zones of the Jupiter triseptile Saturn are 9-13 Taurus, 1-5 Cancer, 22-26 Leo, 14-18 Libra, 5-9 Sagittarius, 26-30 Capricorn, and 17-21 Pisces.
To these zones triggering obsessive, compulsive, irrational responses from self and/or others we add a third for the next week: Venus in early Virgo septile Mars in mid-Cancer and triseptile Uranus in Aries, coupled with Mars making a biseptile to Uranus, thus setting a three point pattern in motion, triggering 4 other hot zones. They are 2-6 Aries, 23-27 Taurus, 14-18 Cancer, 5-9 Virgo, 26-30 Libra, 18-22 Sagittarius, and 10-14 Aquarius.
As you can surmise, this puts us all on several major edges of change on a fairly constant basis, given the Ascendant and the Moon transit all 21 of these zones frequently. While the third pattern is fairly intense right now, it will be past by early August 30. Still, that makes the decisions and developments of the next few days fairly critical involving several areas of our lives. Those are the ones involving Aries, Taurus, Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Aquarius experienced through life areas ruled by the houses where we have Aries, Cancer, and Virgo.
Venus in Virgo is in the sign of its "Fall," i.e., its place of least growth. Venus symbolizes values, relationships, appreciation, and our sense of beauty and aesthetics. In Virgo it tends to be too critical, narrow, and worried. The best manifestation is discrimination between greater and lesser values, being clear about which relationships help us to our practical discipleship and which just leave us feeling judged. Mars in Cancer is also in the sign of its "Fall." Mars symbolizes our "attack on the problems of life," where we claim our initiative and don't need others' permission to do what we have to do in our own way. In Cancer Mars tends to be too reactive, touchy, and defensive. The best manifestation is proactive nurturing and/or protective activities, or finding indirect and/or cautious ways to achieve goals and desires without overreaching or taking things too personally.Uranus in Aries symbolizes the larger revolutionary energies in the generic atmosphere, allowing freedom to be birthed and come forth in countless individual and collective ways. (Unfortunately, revolutionary freedom must always be tempered with justice, fairness, and some measure of stability lest it turn to anarchy and the "law of the jungle.") We have begun an era of radical awakenings we haven't experienced since 1927-1935. Given the early 1930s were an era of extreme conflicts when Uranus also squared Pluto, we may be able to find some analogous symbols for what's going on now and into the next few years!
So to sum up this non-rational pattern, it's about relationships, activity, and revolution! Be thoughtful about what and how you analyze events of the past few and next few days, and how Mars square Saturn may have challenged different perspective, different emphases in judgments, and how you can adjust to nurture your new life developments better.
If appropriate, create safe space where you can let go of worries and excess nervous energy. Venus is showing us how to see what characterizes our social, emotional, and cultural values and interactions, while Mars offers us actions to achieve levels of personality integration. Much should come into focus at the New Moon and the two weeks that follow, since this New Moon falls exactly in the Virgo zone conjunct Venus septile Mars. The Grand Earth trine should make for a great time and further our stability amidst the radical changes, so again, stop worrying about things that can't be solved by your worrying!

ps - A few more thoughts. Think about the fact that our current edges of change already involve (or will this weekend) The Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in one of these "irrationality" inducing planetary fields! Everyone's here except Mercury, and it's on its station!
The sheer number of degrees involved in all three patterns simultaneously is stunning, making this a time when just about everyone on Earth is going through major changes! It's firing up the following degree spans: 2-6 Aries, 17-21 Aries, 9-13 Taurus, 23-27 Taurus, 9-13 Gemini, 1-5 Cancer, 14-18 Cancer, 1-5 Leo, 22-26 Leo, 5-9 Virgo, 22-26 Virgo, 14-18 Libra, 26-30 Libra, 13-17 Scorpio, 5-9 Sagittarius,18-22 Sagittarius, 4-8 Capricorn, 26-30 Capricorn, 10-14 Aquarius, 26-30 Aquarius, and 17-21 Pisces.
That encompasses 105 degrees, a major chunk of the zodiac, being activated simultaneously every day by what's on the horizon as well as the rulers of every sign except Gemini and Virgo, which as noted is a major force in itself at this time. If we expand the orb of the aspects even one degree to either side of the spans listed above, it increases the number to 147 degrees across all signs! You can bet that if you have a planet to anywhere near those spans, it's lighting up like a pinball machine!
We're all getting moved by one or more of these energies, so if you feel a bit pushed or pulled, remember that you're not alone. "You say you want a revolution...."
"You better free your mind instead..." such a timely song for these coming years. Being a earthling I am taking it easy Robert, but those around me are manifesting discomforts. It's definitely time to wake up to reality (stop pretending life will be as it was) there are so many huge forces moving us forward. Music eases the pot-holes... Thanks again, for clarity!

That would explain our east coast earthquake and Hurricane Irene all in one week...!!! Here we go.....

All the best of luck for those experiencing those massive weather extremes.
I read the earlier article - where the friendships were encouraged to take the positive changes, which sounds neater too easy. (But I have south moon node at leo 11th house? - a friendship with my cat, "tiny lion".)

Does this Nessus explain some of the "odd" frienships?
Real tested friendships?
"...Nessus' poisonous act that, in actuality, healed the feud between Hera and Heracles..."

Yes... life, in some very WEIRD ways, is lighting up like a pinball machine. The blessing is Mercury on its station as it is lending a sense of clarity, even as it blends some returns with a game plan on how to grove to a different beat in the imminent future.
Thank you for this post Robert!

Love amongst the ruins. Cool things are opening up and out for some folks in the midst of their troubles. I'm amazed. It makes me feel happy. I love them.

I cannot find rationality for feeling love.
