This Full Moon will bring us the rewards of work we've done up to now! It's a harvest time, with lots of great activity gathering what we need that we'll be able to use in practical ways in the very near future.
Today's article will cover rising signs around the globe, an overview of the Lunation, and the Sabian Symbols. Part 2 will cover the aspects, configurations and patterns, and which signs are most likely to be affected by where this falls in their charts.
A brief overview: the period ruled by this Full Moon will educate us through our actions, where our practical efforts will bring us rewards through and with our Spiritual Brothers and Sisters. This will be an incredibly efficient time, and endings, past and present, will be seen in the light of the wisdom of what and why those things had to end. In this sense, since anything that has to end is no longer true for us, then we can find a deeper wisdom and compassion about why that is so.
Of major importance is that this Full Moon triggers both the Grand Irrationality and the second "irrationality pattern" that's been prominent ever since Jupiter began its triseptile with Saturn at the Summer Solstice in late June. In this Lunation the Moon forms a triseptile with Saturn, triggering the separating Jupiter triseptile Saturn. This will bring further effects related to the major decisions we've been making and feeling all Summer that were brought into acute focus during the last half of July due to that Cancer-Capricorn Full Moon triggering 4 points of the 7 pointed Star pattern.
That configuration will be fairly "hot" for a few more months anyway due to Mercury going stationary direct on the same degree it held in that Full Moon. One way or another, we're getting free from old "social rigidities" and finding more joy in different types of fellowship. Now we get to "rehearse with the choir" and experience the virtually infinite downward flow of Nature energies. I'll cover all this and more in part 2.
Now on to the rising signs around the world. This Full Moon, educating us in Divine Discrimination and healthy forms of adjusting to link with others, focused through actional unifying feelings, occurs September 12 at 2:27 am PDT, 5:27 am EDT, and 10:27 am Greenwich Daylight time (September 11 in Hawaii.)
The Lunation finds 28 Cancer rising in Santa Monica, 2 Leo rising in Vancouver, 3 Virgo in Washington DC, 30 Virgo in Rio, 30 Libra in London, 3 Scorpio in Amsterdam, 9 Scorpio in Berlin, 13 Scorpio in Tallinn, 22 Scorpio in Sofia, 27 Scorpio in Istanbul, 4 Sagittarius in Cairo, and 24 Sagittarius in Johannesburg.
Moving into Asia and Oceana, we find the Ascendants to be 9 Capricorn in Abbotabad,16 Capricorn in New Delhi, 25 Capricorn in Trivandrum, 17 Aquarius in Bangkok, 1 Pisces in Hong Kong, 5 Aries in Tokyo, 12 Pisces in Perth, 7 Aries in Melbourne, 15 Aries in Brisbane, 30 Aries in Wellington, and 17 Gemini rising on Maui (September 11).
Because the New Moon preceding the Full Moon always represents the seed forms that are brought to surface at and after the Full Moon, please check out New Moon in Virgo Pt. 1 - What's Happening in September 2011. There's more at New Moon in Virgo Pt. 2 - Signs, Sabian Symbols, Aspect Patterns, and What It All Means.
Those around the world who will definitely feel effects of this Full Moon are the places where it falls near the angles of the chart. Places where the Lunation is near the angles and activating energies powerfully are the Northeastern seaboard of the US and Canada, Rio, a line from Tallinn down to Johannesburg including Eastern Europe and Egypt, Hong Kong, Western Australia, the Philippines, and Hawaii.
As we are still under the influence of both the July 2010 Solar Eclipse in Cancer, the January 2011 Solar Eclipse in Capricorn, the recent powerful June 1 Solar Eclipse in Gemini, AND the July 1 Cancer Solar Eclipse, you may also want to review the numerous articles in the archives concerning those long term influences. As several planets in this chart harmonize, reconcile, or stabilize previously activated Eclipse points, many long term issues and endings can be understood from retrospective approaches.
Full Moons heighten feelings, given the opposition of the Moon with the Sun. This is heightened if there are other oppositions, and in this Lunation we find only that the Moon opposes Venus. Thus the sense of polarization won't be that strong, and this one challenges us to assert the deep and subtle elements of our personality so we're not taken for granted or as inconsequential. Focus on something you feel is an urgency or emergency, and awaken self and or others to the need for some sort of action.
To remind you, we're still being very much influenced in life-altering ways by the New Moon Solar Eclipse of June 1. That fell in the Gemini zone of the Grand Irrationality, and so over the past 15 weeks many strange and "destiny-producing" events have quickened to warp speed, throwing us all in major new directions.
As that Eclipse will be in force for several years, you can expect the effects to continue for quite a while. The whole world is at a critical turning point where we must find compassionate ways to link with others to assist the whole to survive through a rough patch.
This is the twelfth Full Moon Sun that falls in the same sign as the previous New Moon, continuing to offer us a consistent (and "natural") way of experiencing the New Moon-Full Moon sequence. We had Full Moon Suns in different signs than the previous New Moon from July 2009 through September 2010. We'll have the current sequences of the New Moon Sun being in the same sign as the next Full Moon Sun through May 2012, after which it will again reverse function and the Full Moon Sun will be the same as the following New Moon Sun.
As I've explained in previous Full Moon articles,
... the Full Moon being in a subsequent sign than the previous New Moon indicates that what is released as realizations in the Full Moon period actually "prepare the ground" for the coming New Moon seed. Strange reversal of function, since you would think the New Moon provides the seed for the next Full Moon. But this set of Lunations works the opposite way....Another way to look at this is the Sun sign of the Full Moon is the same as and precedes the Sun sign of the next New Moon, reversing the usual way Lunations work. So the fulfillment of the Full Moon sets up the next "seed" to be revealed at the next New Moon....
So at present the New Moon-Full Moon cycle is "normal," in the sense that now we have the illuminated form shown to us at the New Moon which is fulfilled by the light of the same sign at the subsequent Full Moon. The New Moons will all fall in the first half of their signs and the Full Moons will all fall in the last half of their signs from now through May 2012. Seeds shown in the first half, fulfillment in the second half makes some kind of sense.
This Full Moon falls at 20 Pisces-Virgo. It is said that the second third (decan) of any sign deals with the emotional, social, and cultural levels of life, and being the culmination of the second decan of those signs, invokes a sub-influence of Cancer and Capricorn.
Since the Moon always focuses the light of the Sun in specific forms, the degree symbols for both are important. The Sun degree is the illumination or enlightenment of the Lunation, whereas the Moon shows us the potential forms that enlightenment will take.
The Solar degree symbol for the 20th degree of Virgo is "An automobile caravan." Rudhyar says this is a degree of "rising to achievement in spite of an inadequate equipment," "Venturing with faith," and "joying in meeting life's challenges."
In the Mandala he goes on to say this is a degree of "the need of cooperative effort in reaching any 'New World' of experience." He states that this implies a group process where people link "their consciousnesses and energies in order to safely reach the goal of destiny" in "an ordered and structured endeavor."
We see that in this symbol "the past is entirely left behind," where people cooperate in "an adventure in consciousness" in a "totalization of purpose and effort." So we are illuminated over the next two weeks by how and what we cut loose from, and some new adventure with others. He says this degree falls in the Span of Experimentation, Act of Stabilization, and Scene of Education on the Actional level.
Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, says this is a degree of "nature's prodigality" revealed through our "genius for multiplying the facilities of modern life," and finding "expectancies which will interest enlightened individuals." Here we see "experience is on the move in a civilized society, since everyone (is) encouraged to heed (their) visions and claim increasing rewards for the skill (we) develop."
He goes on to say that "Self goes out very courageously to meet its world, and as a result finds it has brought a cosmos to its doorstep" He offers the keyword VARIETY, and states that when operating positively, the degree is "an exceptional capacity for creating a greater promise and producing expanded dividends in every area of human activity."
The Lunar degree symbol for the 20th degree of Pisces is "A table set for an evening meal." Rudhyar says this is a degree of "spiritual nourishment," "ingathering of forces," and "encompassing richness of experience whenever a particular ordeal is over."
He goes on to say in the Mandala that this degree "Promises a satisfying or fulfilling end to whatever one has been undertaking," and that "in the end and at the appointed time (our) needs will be met among those (we're linked to) by a spiritual web of energies." Here at the end of some phase of life we'll find "that which renews and amply sustains," and will experience happiness.
Here we'll find nourishment in a "harvest" of something relevant to "the archetypal purpose and destiny of (our) Soul." He says this degree falls in the Span of Protection, Act of Capitalization, and Scene of Perpetuation on the Actional level.
Dr. Jones says this is a degree of "nature's prodigality revealed through the normal satisfactions" we don't have to effort for, and their significance through the "special revelations of our potentials." Here we discover "there is no part of the universe (we) cannot enlist for the fulfillment of (our) own desires.
With this degree, we make our potential "an expression of (our) genius," and achieve "its promise in a thorough self-gratification." He offers us the keyword FAMILIARITY, and states that when operating in a positive manner, this degree "is an effective sensitiveness to every passing need of mankind."
From these symbols it seems we can see the light of a pending adventure where we link with others, venture with faith in meeting some challenge, and mobilize in developing our visions and claim rewards for skills. If we are courageous in meeting some potential, we will find "cosmos at our doorstep," and in so doing will create even greater promise and expanded dividends for our efforts.
These will express in satisfactions and fulfilling ends to what we've been undertaking, and we'll find forms of nourishment among our Spiritual family. Here we can find that which sustains and renews us, where our genius will find gratification in expressing itself in answering the needs of humanity.
On a final note, this is the third Full Moon of the year following the "Three High Moons" of Spring (in the Northern Hemisphere). This Full Moon completes the Full Moons of the past season where the Spring Full Moons expressed through the Sun in Cancer, Leo, and Virgo and the Full Moons associated with these signs.
The 3 High Moons began with the Full Moon of Aries-Libra, progressed through the Wesak Festival Full Moon of Taurus-Scorpio, and fulfilled the triple pulse at the Christ Fest Full Moon of Gemini-Sagittarius, which also happened to be a very powerful Lunar Eclipse. In the Northern Hemisphere, the first renews the life force for the year, the second brings a new outpouring of the "Cosmic Buddha Nature" that brings all a renewal of the qualities that Sage brought to humanity to lessen suffering for all sentient Beings, and the third is where the World Teacher takes that "wisdom form" and distributes it to the Earth as the Teaching for the year.
I would infer that in the Southern Hemisphere, the Full Moon of Aries-Libra initiates an energy that is concentrated at the Full Moon of Taurus-Scorpio and is distributed at the Full Moon of Gemini-Sagittarius, but perhaps these energies may express in outer forms in the subsequent Spring Full Moons of Libra-Aries, Scorpio-Taurus, and Sagittarius-Gemini. Again, the energies of the elements and modes of the signs work consistently whether in the Northern or Southern Hemispheres, but bring forth different and parallel manifestations in the natural world.
If you're interested in the lessons released by the 3 High Moons for 2011, please refer to the many articles written about these Full Moons that are in the recent archives. They're truly worth a new look.
In Part 2 we'll cover the aspects, configurations, and which degree spans will be impacted by this Full Moon. See you soon!

The moon woke me up at 3:33 and I found this article. I'm a Taurus and married to Scorpio . I'm thankful for this information as it confirms what I've been thinking and doing as of late. Sleep has been secondary but not inhibiting in any way.Knowledge is powerful and flowing, so profound to one who is awake and concsious of changes taking place and moving into them with ease . This urgency to complete tasks that have lingered on my plate has driven me to operate with total direction. Go with your flow and keep moving....

It is 3:33 where I live and I am a Taurus as well. I am also thankful for this information and I can completely connect with it and with you, Renee. I understand the feeling of urgency. Yes...we are in the flow.

Am enjoying this flow. As long as I don't get caught up in any wow and try to count the different levels I'm experiencing simultaneously, I think I'll be just fine. Doi yoi yoi!
I feel clear and focussed, too. Thank you for sharing that Renee and Carol.

I am having lots of repressed anger come to the surface,
and I see how I have been addicted to repressing my real feelings. It is mirroring what is happening in countries that have been dominated and repressed, and how they are overthrowing dominant leaders. Im seeing that now that I am being true to my feelings and expressing them, others have choices to make.
If their choice is to try to continue, or hide their
behavior, it is time to walk away.

i have a question ,
as u written above that we are still under the influence of both the July 2010 Solar Eclipse in Cancer, the January 2011 Solar Eclipse in Capricorn, the recent powerful June 1 Solar Eclipse in Gemini, AND the July 1 Cancer Solar Eclipse,we may also want to review the numerous articles in the archives concerning those long term influences. As several planets in this chart harmonize, reconcile, or stabilize previously activated Eclipse points, many long term issuesand endings can be understood from retrospective approaches.
so when we get out of these influences..
in july 2010 i was dating with a person n he left me in january 2011,though i started loving him i have very very bad time ..
