I saw a great quote about how we better our world through our goodness and gentle strength.
This one comes from Phillips Brooks, a Sagittarius clergyman who lived from 1835 to 1893. His main claim to fame seems to be that he was the lyricist of "O Little Town of Bethlehem."
Anyway, for your consideration:
No man or woman of the humblest sort can really be strong, gentle and good, without the world being better for it, without somebody being helped and comforted by the very existence of that goodness.
