Long time members of this community know about The Grand Irrationality, anchored by Neptune and Pluto and triggered by the inner planets many times a year. However, we are still locked in tight to a second irrationality pattern making this an extremely important time.
The Moon in Cancer sets this into motion as we speak (5:30 pm PST, 1:30 am Greenwich Jan 10). While it originally involved Mercury septile Venus, now these have moved far enough forward over the past several weeks so that now Mercury is biseptile Mars and Venus is triseptile Mars. Right now and for the next few hours, the Moon in Cancer will join the party, making a Kite configuration through being triseptile Mercury and triseptile Venus while septile Mars in Virgo.
So the 7 hot zones in full force for the next few hours, with the energy of the field extended through January 12, are 20-25 Virgo, 11-16 Scorpio, 3-8 Capricorn, 24-29 Aquarius, 16-21 Aries, 7-12 Gemini, and 28 Cancer-3 Leo. If you have a sensitive planet or point in any of these zones, your life is in major transition this week, so choose carefully! I elaborated about this energy in part 2 of the recent Full Moon in Cancer series, which links to an even more elaborate explanation in an earlier article.
Of great importance is that the Grand Irrationality hot zones are now about 7-9 Capricorn, 29 Aquarius-1 Pisces, 20-22 Aries, 12-14 Gemini, 3-5 Leo, 25-27 Virgo, and 16-18 Scorpio. The configuration is about to be triggered when Mercury conjuncts Pluto and septiles Venus while Venus is conjunct Neptune and septile Pluto. So toward the end of the first set of activations, the Grand Irrationality will be in full play!!
To sum up, right now the pattern involves Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. The Moon will be done with its part by 5-6 am Greenwich January 10, while Mercury, Venus, and Mars continue through the next degrees of this pattern. Wherever we have Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Aquarius will be highly active over the next few days in terms of some fairly crazy things happening. Sidestep obsessive-compulsive situations, and make your decisions with an eye to moving things forward soon.
By January 12, Mercury and Venus will be triggering the Grand Irrationality, with the Moon joining the party around 1 am Greenwich, January 14, around the time it conjuncts Mars in Virgo. So consider today, tomorrow, and the next day as "rehearsals" for other important developments in a few days.

Wow. Should I wear seat belts and a helmet for this part? Thanks Robert. To be forewarned is very helpful.

I have been feeling the shift of Venus into Pisces along with the Cancer moon, making a gentler way into the "Irrationality." Not to say that I am getting used to this crazy flow .....but at least the edges aren't as prickly at this point. We shall see about the next few days!
Namaste teacher!

It already feels like the twilight zone to me...hmmm, does that mean I'll just get spacier as the days move along or clearer since I'm already weirded out?

Hi All:
I had to chuckle at the bit about moving things forward. With a cardinal/fire emphasis, an Aries Sun/Merc, a Sag Moon and Uranus my most elevated planet, I don't need any encouragement to move things along! LOL
Seriously, though, thanks for your take on things - always interesting & educational.
