Astrology in mid-January 2012 - Full Speed Ahead!!

To remind you, this is a great time for getting a lot accomplished, even if it is a very strange time.

First, there's a lot of overall beneficial harmony set by the ongoing Saturn trine Neptune and Jupiter trine Pluto, showing we can get a lot done right now. These aspects favor relationship understanding, stabilization of new standards of expression and aspiration, and steady practical stability of current and future material well-being. Beside this overall beneficial atmosphere, we also have other aspects going on right now that show we can get a lot done.

Just keep in mind that it's a very strange time that in the long run will lead to shifts in our destiny. I explained this in Another Irrational Time Of Heavy Decisions and Shifts in Destiny. While a bit technical, it boils down to the fact that right now we're making decisions and choices that will affect us for a long time to come. These can be easy, especially those that clarify our "destiny" due to the character choices we're making. Be positive in choosing to chart your future courses with confidence that you're doing what you must to make a leap into a more positive potential!

Right now, the Sun is trine Mars, favoring organized and precise accomplishment in whatever you're doing, as long as you keep it relatively simple and straightforward. There are rewards to be captured which can certify our worth. Venus is still trining Saturn and conjuncting Neptune, also favoring all things associated with these planets. This is accompanied by Mercury triggering the Grand Irrationality, referenced in the "shifts in destiny" article, as well as Venus sextile Jupiter also in play right now. Very productive and beneficial time for planning, opening to wider futures and greater visions of truth and potential, as well as seeing things to their core.

As all these major aspects are accompanied by pretty good Lunar aspects for at least a week, do whatever you must to make progress however you need to. We'll approach a Sun square Saturn that culminates on January 19-20, but given Saturn's harmonious status, that aspect should release some very good things, especially since Venus is also sextile Pluto the entire time.

Also keep in mind that even as the Sun squares Saturn, it is also sextile Uranus, favoring innovation, renovation, and creative revolution toward a larger vision of life and effectiveness. That it also squares Jupiter can only be a good thing (as long as we know proper boundaries and don't give in to overblown schemes and assertions), given how favorable Jupiter's influence is right now.

So the Sun shows us emergent responsibilities as it curbs old ones, accompanied by innovation and a release of Jupiterian energy at the "cosmic visitation" point. Surrender old feelings to new ones, allow new depth of experiencing life to come to the surface, and don't worry if you feel quarantined from something or someone; it's a clear signal to play, secure with the knowledge you're being protected from some "epidemic," perhaps symbolic, perhaps something in the environment that's out of control.

And that's your "weather report" for the period of January 11-23. On Jan 23-24, Mars goes retrograde, which I'll be writing about in the near future. Until then, it's time to rock and roll!

Dear Robert,

For the last 11 years, I've been home, beside raising my kids, and illness, I worked as a volunteer due to the fact I couldn't make career comitments.,

Since eclipse on my sun 19 scorpio, from late October this year, ,my spirit has afresh. Jupiter trine natal jupiter at 3 cap, encouraged by pluto and mars all earthly trine, with this month new moon siding with my jupiter, ruler of my hopes and wishes I was preparing for getting back to work, a day before full moon without realizing, I called one place, I'm starting back to work tomorrow after all these years with just one phone call. How lucky can I get?

I feel so grateful o the spirit of universe, My life is full of rebirths.

with sun-neptune conjunct at 19-20 sag, the recent eclipse set into motion health complications. chiron at 9 taurus trine jup-mars conjunct at 9 virgo, and venus at 17 cap sq pluto at 21 libra... i feel as if a dark fog continues to descend, how to climb out? when will things shift? saturn sq my ascendant in cap...

Hi Robert, this is an area that has always interested me alot and I have acknowledged that the vast majority of finely tuned prophets and mystics have operated under the cover of darkness, not meaning evil, meaning under cover or incognito, I guess looking into history, its not pretty for those who havent lol!
