Now that Jupiter is direct in motion, it will roar forward through Taurus at a very fast pace rocketing toward its entry into Gemini in June 2012. Today let’s take a new look at how we can best use this energy.
Jupiter first entered Taurus in June 2011. It then moved forward and went stationary retrograde at 11 Taurus in late August just after our “liberating ordeal.” The theme of its retrograde period from September through Christmas was “tending the garden of our life and mind,” and seeing how Nature was cooperating with our efforts or not.
We’ve now had 4 months to see what we’ve tended to in simple and steady ways that help us feel sustained in several areas of life, these being the houses Jupiter rules and occupies in our charts. From here it should be fairly easy and natural to secure whatever Jupiter in Taurus has offered us.
Some may need to continue to tend, or even expand, the garden they’ve been cultivating, while others have found they may need to garden elsewhere. Take a look at what’s been made evident about a more “natural” way to be or do whatever makes you feel secure, anchored, and sustained in comforting ways.
Those with Suns in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are all looking for their place of greatest service, and need to open to greater possibilities of experience and self expression. Just be careful not to overdo it, take unnecessary risks, or gamble what should not be risked.
Those with a Sun in Taurus will find their light expanding over the next few months, with new foundations and a new sense of possibilities. Sun in Leo people are now moving into a new professional or public self, fulfilling the cycle that began between July 2002-August 2003.
Sun in Scorpio people are seeing new relationship potential breaking the surface, and should allow a lot of freedom in any relationship they begin or are currently in. This is the midpoint of the cycle that began for Scorpio and Scorpio rising people between October 2005 and November 2006. Sun in Aquarius people have prepared for new public or professional developments, and now can do what they do with style. This fulfills what Aquarians began between January 2009 and January 2010.
People with planets in Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo will find understanding, harmony, and/or stabilization in those life functions over the next 5 months. People with planets in Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces will find maximum productivity. Cancers will hit major decisions and turning points by May-June 2012, Scorpios will find new value, new play, and new self expression by then, while Pisces will be given some special gifts and unique opportunities between April and June.
Jupiter is now moving forward and re-tracing the first 11 degrees of Taurus for the third time. This third pass over this degree span gives us all opportunities over the next few weeks to use skills and insights we’ve learned as a result of Jupiter teaching us about Taurus energy. This is the time to be joyous in a slightly quickened solid steady expansion of the initiatives set into motion when Jupiter was in Aries from late January through early June 2011.
Rudhyar states this span of degrees falls in the Process of Individualization, Act of Differentiation, Scene of Substantiation, and Span of Experience. Adapting what he says about the specific degree spans, the first 5 degrees are Actional, Physical, and Material. From 6-10 degrees are Emotional, Social, and Cultural. From 11-15 degrees are Individual, Mental, Philosophical and Spiritual.
That means that Jupiter gave us a first look at the actional-material lessons in June, and a first look at the social, emotional, and cultural Taurus lessons to be learned in July and the first half of August. Going stationary at 11 Taurus set the RX lessons of September through December, involving substantiating something individual, mental, and/or spiritual.
We tracked back over 6-10 Taurus the last half of September through all of October, and then tracked back through the first 5 degrees in November and December, going direct on Christmas Day (Dec 26 in Eastern Europe, South Africa, and points east.)
So now Jupiter’s power of expansion is moving through the span where we get to act, or know something about the material creation, that helps us individualize through whatever differentiated responses we choose. From now through February 17, it’s time to act in order to substantiate something.
From February 17 through March 16, it will move from 6-10 degrees of Taurus, substantiating something on the emotional, social, or cultural level. That means a time of teaching and being taught to be positive Taurus in those areas of life. From there Jupiter moves into the individual, mental, and spiritual realms of how to substantiate these, or how to use these to substantiate something.
By the Vernal Equinox we’ll all be clear about how to express some element of our “Spiritual individuality,” what it means to us emotionally and/or socially, and have a skill set that allows us to act with simple and enjoyable determination to complete our capture of what we need that will lead to new discoveries beginning in June.

Robert, I note on March 13 an interesting pattern of 9-10 degrees....Mars in Virgo, North node in Sag conjunct moon, Pluto in Capricorn, Venus conjunct Jupiter in Taurus, and South Node in Gemini...this of course signals an exact trine between Mars, Jupiter/Venus, and Pluto with the nodal connection and global societal implications as well. What do you make of this? (Maybe you will do an entire article?) It looks pretty promising to me.

Hi Jo - Yes, that Grand Earth Trine is a marker of some very good things that signal both a return AND a promise of things to come. I'll be composing something around late February or early March on that significant transit.

Yep. This is what we prepare for, to realize there is a light at the end of the tunnel. My solar return on the 7th is a beautiful thing, finally, lol. The next 6 months (mas o menos) look sweet to me. Jupiter will reach my AC in early May and I say "let the good times roll." Hard work gets rewarded, earthlings... Feliz ano nuevo, Roberto!

Robert, I have my Jupiter in Taurus and it was retro at birth. I have it conjunct my mc. I will have my Jupiter return some time in April. I believe and feel things are at a turning point in my life and the direction of my vocation will take a turn as well. I mean really it is like you said in many articles. There have been many turning points and returns and reckonings even.
Not just in this area. I have Jupiter ruling the 8th and 5th house. I have venus also ruling my 3rd house. Hmmm interesting to try to tie all those houses together and try to blend things. As you say above also look at where one's has planets in those different signs and I think I would look at the aspects to see what they may form.
Thanks for this great post.

Seems the "stars" are guiding us all to new endeavours and rapid change. It appears as if there is a new road ahead that has better tarmac and is straighter than the one we are leaving behind. Good omens and most welcome. Still we must remember we are the ones driving the car of life and making the decisions. We have such power over our lives! So, let's be aware of our choice power and responsibility and joyfully make the most of it for everyones good.
Cheers,

Cancer-5 Here: 6-22-52 Year Of The Dragon. 2012 is also the year of The Dragon and I envision a sort of powerful Saturn Return effect. I also have Taurus rising and Jupiter transits incoming soon: Jupiter Conjunct Jupiter & Jupiter Conjunct the Ascendant. I feel a strong push-pull with all sorts of Uranus energy flowing through in my chart. It's like a cosmic workout!

You spoke about a number of Sun positions (those with suns Suns in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) and a few others but nothing about those with suns in Gemini. I've got my Jupiter in Taurus at 7 degrees. Any insights you can share with sun in gemini?

Hi robin - You're closing two old cycles simultaneously. One will renew your imagination for 12 years, followed by a renewal of your light. Jupiter in the solar 12th is a time of rewards, broad vision on the "movie of your life," and usually a preparation for an opening when Jupiter conjuncts your Sun.

(Hi CC - Robert here. You posted way too much information. If someone wants to comment, what I left is more than enough.)

Hi CC - Well, it's only a problem when it takes too much space, since then visitors to the article have to scroll way down to post. As a public forum, most who would comment would only make some brief remarks, since this site isn't about extensive personal readings. That's why I left the planets and houses. Certainly that offers anyone who would comment enough info to make some statement about your situation.
So here's a gift: Saturn is imposing a new learning/functional rigor on you. Right now you need to adjust your sense of proportion to a more stable and balanced rhythm. Everything shifts for you in June when Jupiter conjuncts your Sun and Saturn goes stationary septile your Moon. July requires absolute integrity with Jupiter square your Jup-Pluto opposition. Make no secret arrangements, do nothing remotely dangerous, and be careful in all agreements that they are in fact in your best interests. Be open and above board in making clear demands on things. While Mars is in Virgo, reorganize how you do what you do with an eye to economy of energy/efficiency, and whatever exaggerated things have come up since T'giving 2011 have shown you what to let go of.
Ultimately, you're here to learn how to let go of the past while embracing a higher dedication that sometimes requires you flying by the seat of your pants. The exact Saturn square Neptune indicates you need to get re-focused from time to time and not drift on the basis of vague feelings of being stuck. When you are most unclear, then narrow your interests to get a handle on the whole.
Yours is a life of recurring rebeginnings that force you to be hopeful after being released from burdens you no longer need to bear. You have some basic decisions you must make in the next several months, and you cannot defer to others' opinions. You are a master planner who is a bit too ambivalent. Be more wholehearted, see what you've said goodbye to and what you still need to say goodbye to, and get ready for a new adventure beginning mid-April that opens new doors in June that you will act on in July when Mars goes over your Asc. Whatever Saturn's been teaching you since 2010 stands ready for your action this Summer. Just be exceptionally careful in mid-July since things can blow out of proportion quickly.
