As we prepare to enter June, we have several VERY important astrological factors occurring over the next few days that promise dramatic shifts in all our lives over the next few months! A major Lunar Eclipse, Neptune stationary retrograde, Venus square Mars, and the Inferior Conjunction of Venus with the Sun are all happening soon.
As you know, we have a significant Lunar Eclipse coming on June 4 at 4:12 am PDT, 12:12 pm Greenwich. It will fall at 15 Sagittarius-Gemini, significantly affecting the houses where it falls. I’ll be composing more over the next few days about this important Eclipse that will impact us for the next 4 1/2 months.
A significant factor in this Lunar Eclipse is Venus retrograde exactly square Mars about 13 hours after the eclipse. That will release a LOT of energy over the next few months, and many will be in conflict in some way related to the affairs these planets rule, as well as the areas of life symbolized by wherever we have Aries, Taurus, Libra, and Scorpio on our house cusps.
As it falls from 17 Gemini to 17 Virgo, expect some “volcanic developments” that help us transmute the physical to the Higher Mental. Some things will explode outwardly, some things will explode inwardly, all leading us to a rebirth within our social setting as well as a sense of renewal at the deepest levels of our being.
Just 8 hours after that Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, Neptune goes stationary retrograde. As with all the outers when they are stationary direct or retrograde, it marks a major “sea change” in those invisible Spiritual transpersonal energies. We are all about to have a different but familiar Neptunian experience.
It helps explain why this is a time of “psychic traffic jams” in the collective consciousness, and as it turns, it begins a very close square from Jupiter, showing we must not drift or get needlessly detached from the larger tides going on. It ushers in several months of learning and/or teaching some basic human skills, as well as lessons around getting over preconceptions and re-identifying with a “primal innocence” that allows us to be of greater service with a larger perspective and sense of humor.
The day after the Eclipse, June 5, we have the much-anticipated “Venus event.” This occultation of the Sun by Venus is the equivalent of an “Inferior conjunction,” which is when the two “Lights” within us fuse in a new perspective and experience of the blending of these energies. You can find more on the concept of the Superior and Inferior Conjunctions through the link at the end of this article. Though written primarily for the Mercury Superior and Inferior conjunctions with the Sun, you can extrapolate the general concept, substituting Venus functions for Mercury functions.
In this case, the Sun is catching up with Venus, which is looking back via its retrograde. As this “Venus event” with the Sun falls at 16 Gemini, you can bet this will be a hot spot for a long time to come, along with expansions promised each time Jupiter makes a pass over that degree. While you’re waiting for the next article in the Venus retrograde series, you may want to take a new look at the Venus retrograde articles already posted. Here are some links:

So, this lunar eclipse is directly conjunct (Moon) and opposing (Sun) my Neptune in Sagittarius. And Venus is squaring Mars less than one degree away from my Neptune, opposing and squaring it. Yikes!! I wonder what this means for my love life... a danger of seeing fantasy rather than reality, affecting how I take action and exert my will in relationships?
And regarding the spirit world, I wonder if this portends challenges in acting on my spiritual relationships, like those with my ancestors and helping spirits. One thing I have been struggling with lately is motivation, and facing my fears. I wonder if that is related?

Hi all - Another factor I'll address in the coming Full Moon articles is this Eclipse has a Mutable T-square, with the void in mid-Pisces. That would imply that many things that have ended since 2010 and created a void in our lives is about to be filled, one way or another. Much that we learned then will be useful in how we navigate the next few months, and don't underestimate the ability to flow through and around obstacles, or simply fade away when we find ourselves in situations where we don't need to be. Remember that sometimes obscurity and/or invisibility are useful in avoiding draining and/or challenging situations.
