He’s a self-described “White collar crime bounty hunter,” and it’s a welcome development that a European country has finally decided to take on the banksters for ruining its economy.
We find this great news courtesy of a Businessinsider.com article by Rob Wile titled “Iceland Has Hired An Ex-Cop To Hunt Down The Bankers That Wrecked Its Economy.” Apparently Iceland’s government has hired “Olafur por Hauksson, a former local police lieutenant... to track down individuals likely to have helped sink the country's banking sector during the credit crunch.”
From the article:
"On one hand, we have to investigate all suspicion of fraud and offences committed before 2009, on the other hand, we bring the lawsuits against the suspects to court ourselves," Hauksson explains. This is a 'totally new' method which allows the investigators to "follow the case" and the judicial system to "know the cases like the back of their hand". This is indispensable in order "to compete with the well-prepared defence attorneys."
He’s got a hundred deputies and researchers to track down the bankster miscreants that crashed Iceland’s economy, and already has some “major convictions since starting in 2009, including the former chief of staff of the country's finance minister on insider trading charges.”
In another welcome development, we find the banksters can run but they can’t hide.
"Searches continue and the team pursues its investigations abroad in the foreign subsidiaries of the Icelandic banks and includes questioning foreigners," Chabas writes. " 'We enjoy full international cooperation,' stresses Olafur Hauksson."
We can only hope he succeeds beyond his wildest imagination, and that he busts as many of these rotten parasites as possible and has them charged with the maximum possible punishment. Who knows? If the banksters actually thought they might stand responsible for their greed, theft, and corruption, they might not indulge in such naked looting of the people of all nations. We can only hope….

I heard an interview with a member of the Systemmic Risk Council who are supposedly working to break down the too big to fails. From that interview and other interviews with persons in the financial system it seems that nobobdy really knows how the system works. It has a life of its own? [Foreboding Music] The Entity.
In the mean time, applause for Critter Control.

Iceland is a very special country with very creative people! Great music comes from Iceland. Listen to Sigur Rós for example.
This nation chose a different way to stop the crisis from the rest of European countries. It decided to hear the requests of the population! and to put politicians and bankers on the bench of the accused.
And they can still see the fairies, elves and little people..
