This week we’re having a Superior Conjunction, an “Old Moon,” and a bunch of great aspects as we approach the coming New Moon at 24 Virgo. This is a week to get it done!!
As students of the craft know, the Superior Conjunction between the Sun and Mercury is as big a deal as the Inferior conjunction. I’ve included links at the bottom of this article for those who want to know more.
This Superior Conjunction falls at 19 Virgo, so we should be seeing manifestations around the theme of “friendly competition to maximize group effort” come forth over the next few weeks. It will be educative, through material actions, and will probably further productive action wherever 19 Virgo falls in our charts.
It’s an “Old Moon” since it’s in its last quarter as we head toward to coming New Moon at 24 Virgo at 7:11 pm PDT September 15 (3:11 am Sept 16 Greenwich). I’ll compose more about the coming New Moon later in the week. This week of the Old Moon is a time to retreat, consolidate, prepare, and close out old business before the new theme of the New Moon takes the stage.
This week shows some complex aspect patterns. Repudiate old binding circumstances and behaviors through Tuesday, and open to unusual or unexpected favorable things through early September 13. Much good will come during the coming Moon in Leo on Wednesday and Thursday, so follow through and achieve closure however appropriate through this week.
Next week will be a different story, with many corners turned and tides changing associated with Pluto going stationary direct at 7 Capricorn with Uranus square Pluto exact at 11:55 pm PDT September 18 from 7 Aries to 7 Capricorn, that being a continuing major disruptive influence during that time for many months to come! Expect some very extreme and dramatic events next week. Just hang on and be balanced, disciplined, sensitive, and welcome the good fortune you didn’t earn!!
This one's still a heavy influence for a while to come!

Thank you so much for this uplifting message. We are working very hard here to promote a film that our local film society is screening on September 24. So this week sounds good to keep plugging away at the publicity. The film is a documentary about the experience of a Lakota man that was sent away to boarding school when he was only 5 years old. It is called "The Thick Dark Fog" if anyone here in our wonderful cantina would like to google it. We are sending much blessings and good wishes to you and your family as you continue your own journey.

My natal moon is at 19 virgo, 11th house
My natal sun is at 19 cap, 3rd house
Finally putting myself out there amongst others ( 11th ) to do my daily work ( virgo ) which is also my true career ( cap ) and although I am generally talkative , I am burning up the lines ( 3rd ) trying to arrange at times the easy, at times that which is beyond real, and as always, being a cap. I do it.
My take on it. Yours please?
I am 54 years of age.
