He died of heart failure. This February 28, 1940 Pisces wrote "Games People Play," "Down In The Boondocks," "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden," and a bunch more. I found some videos.
He also wrote "Hush," a huge hit for Billy Joe Royal as well as Deep Purple.
