We’ve entered a 5 day period when four planets will change signs and Jupiter goes stationary retrograde at 17 Gemini. This will shift many perspectives, and bring lessons of different sorts than the ones we’ve been experiencing.
A few hours ago Venus moved out of Leo and into Virgo. That means that the life areas where we have Taurus and Libra on the house cusps has been experiencing floods of Leo energy, and now we begin to learn “lessons of significant form,” to paraphrase Rudhyar.
We’re now learning ordering, sequencing, discernment about place and function, and a certain practical humility wherever we have Taurus or Libra. This also relates to any planets we have in those signs.
Obviously, it also impacts the current transiting Sun, Mercury, and Saturn, since they are all in Libra. The dispositor, or ruler, of these planets is no longer in the fixed Fire sign of Leo. This means that the backdrop to these planetary energies has moved into the Distributive Earth sign of Virgo, which will bring a much different quality to what’s being illuminated and integrated by the Sun, coordinated and communicated by Mercury, and structured into our lives by Saturn at this time of philosophical completion.
This will further shift in some very important ways this Friday, when both Mercury and Saturn move into Scorpio. Mercury enters Scorpio at 3:35 am PDT, 11:35 am Greenwich on October 5, just after it conjuncts Saturn. Saturn then enters Scorpio at 1:33 pm PDT, 9:33 pm Greenwich, ushering in a new long term era in life areas ruled by Capricorn and Aquarius. This brings a whole new set of Saturnine lessons as we leave the Saturn in Libra era behind. I’ll write more about that in the very near future.
The importance to this is that Venus, ruling Libra, will no longer be the dispositor of Mercury and Saturn, while Mars will through its rulership of Scorpio. You can find out more about http://www.aquariuspapers.com/astrology/2011/05/astrology-class-what-is-a-dispositor-and-what-is-mutual-reception-between-two-planets.html dispositors and Mutual Reception at this link. However, since Mars quickly leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius at 8:21 pm PDT on Oct 6, 4:21 am Greenwich October 7, the Mars energy will take a dramatic shift out of its home in the Fixed Water of Scorpio into the Distributive Fire of Sagittarius.
This should bring “excitement” in the embrace of greater adventures, truths, and possibilities after a few months of dealing with Mars in Libra, where we implemented ideals, and Scorpio, where we had to focus and most likely eliminate obsolete methods and ways of life. And echoing the principles demonstrated by the other planets already mentioned, once it leaves Scorpio it indicates our life areas ruled by Aries and Scorpio and any planets we may have in those signs will also shift emphasis. We will see those areas and planetary functions move out of Fixed Water into Distributive Fire.
So over the next few days, enjoy the shifting perspectives, backdrops, atmospheres, lessons, and experiences as the planets which rule Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Aquarius change signs, and the planet which rules Sagittarius and Pisces goes stationary retrograde. Sea changes ahead!!

Interesting, Robert. Thank you for sharing your talent. I have Mercury 0 degrees Scorpio..and Venus, Saturn and Sun all in Scorp also. It makes me see typos. Just very sharply focused, then with Leo rising and Mars in Aquarius.... if I can only experience the highest outcome, I know this is a lifechanging time.
If you never need any of your work to be edited, please keep me in mind.
In the meantime, keep up the amazing work.
