A very big shift actually occurred at the last Winter Solstice. It affected everyone, both similarly and differently. We are being tested right now to keep our balance as we move into heightened feelings.
While much seems pretty intense right now and some of it does not make sense, it’s showing us how to “know without thinking,” and forcing us to sort through what in us "knows" it thinks it knows. Some "knowing without thinking" is pure and accurate intuition. Other "knowing without thinking" is a self-generated echo chamber that can go strange places. Put another way, some "knowing" is more accurate than other "knowing."
This will be with us as a constant in the years to come. Right now the trick is to learn to navigate this increased sensitivity when confronted by the abrupt upheavals and strange events associated with the ongoing Uranus square Pluto with Pluto continuing to anchor the Grand Irrationality.
Over the next 7 days we have a host of major league intense aspects and configurations going on that is bound to affect us in many areas of life. This is one of the periods when we’re tested to keep our equilibrium and not allow our feelings to overreact.
We have two "Fingers of God," one a Yod to Jupiter, the other a Yod to Saturn, and a situation where these interlock with each other. At this time we also have Mars square Pluto, then a Full Moon with a Cardinal T-square, then a Venus-Sun-Uranus cluster of conjunctions that re-triggers all the previous aspects Mars has made, then Mercury square Jupiter, and then finally the Sun and Venus square Pluto.
Any of these would set off major things in our lives, and all of these together will profoundly affect almost our entire chart. Since these involve the Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto, you can see how it cuts across almost every area of our lives. Given the placements and rulerships involved, it seems the only sign that isn’t impacted is Aquarius.
I’ve explained the Yods in previous articles. Over the next week, the cardinal squares being triggered now are showing us just how sensitive we are, and are forcing us to find our balance along with being sensitive to our needs without excessive sensitivity throwing us off. Learn to stay balanced, moderate the oscillations, and feel what you have to feel without allowing your mind to take it where it doesn't need to go.
Also remember Mercury has been squaring Jupiter since the beginning of March. That’s a long time for those two principles to be at cross purposes to each other. The fact they’re in mutual reception only heightens their influence. It also challenges us not to allow our minds to take things where they don’t need to go, since the square from Pisces to Gemini can never get clear enough to be satisfied.
I’ll write more about these aspects in the coming days, since they’ll be a very heavy influence in the coming Full Moon at 7 Libra at 2:27 am PDT, 5:27 am EDT, 9:27 am Greenwich on March 27. At least the Cardinal squares are made productive via the sextiles to Jupiter in Gemini, and the Mutable square is made productive via Mercury in Pisces sextile Pluto. So while there are abrupt blocks, brakes, releases, and corners turned, it’s all productive for getting to the truth of a matter while also taking ideas into actions.

I'm so glad you mentioned the "knowing without thinking" paradox. In my life, it seems "omens" and such are usually wishful thinking! Now when I notice an omen, it usually points to something that's NOT going to happen. C'est la vie!

I would quibble with the notion that Aquarius is unaffected. ; ) Last Monday I was excited to start a new job with a new restaurant that practices 'sacred commerce'. Yesterday, after only 5 days employment there, I was let go. The only attempts at problem solving in the workplace were initiated by me.I corrected what I saw as my shortcomings, but received no feedback as to what they felt my shortcomings were. Attempts by the ownership/management to alert me to the issues or suggest solutions in regard to my performance were nil. 6th house Aqua Sun, Mars Saturn. T Jupiter in the 10th house.

Hi Diana - We can expect more "feeling knowing" in the future. Our job is to interpret what we think we know, or feel we know, accurately.
Hi Linda - Aquarius is the only sign not ruled by one of the planets involved in the Yods and T-squares, but of course it is affected by other things. No doubt whatever was affected in your chart ties in with what happened.
To note, I'm not sure it's true "sacred commerce" if they made no attempt to communicate to you, whether about what you were or were not doing. Sounds like they had some sort of hidden agenda and were not exactly up front. To me, "sacred commerce" begins with our contract to be kind, forthright, honest, and upright in our dealings with each other, since all "commerce" is based on contracts which are promises to fulfill our duty in an interaction. I believe the least we can expect is honesty from another who supposedly honors the sacred. Oh well. If not that job, then another that is even more perfect for your skills and needs.
Hi Ilse - Well, it's better than pushing the river!;-)

Love your title for this post Robert! It's a hell of a build up but absolutely fascinating to see how it will play out.
"Put another way, some "knowing" is more accurate than other "knowing." "
Isn't it just! - Really enjoyed your post. Thank you.

I laughed out loud at the sight of this title, "A Giant Freakout", and felt an amazing and welcome sense of relief -- thank you so much for that. We are dealing with funerals and unemployments and finances and renegotiating love relationships here, and I'm so glad to know that the stars have all feeling pressured; that it isn't just me, and that someone else's misbehavior cannot all be blamed on me (which happens in one of the relationships now under negotiation). Blessings and cheers, K.

I actually have 2 interlocking yods in natal chart, one to saturn (sextiles are nth node/mars to sun & one to jupiter(IC conj) (sextile is pluto to merc) feels like home just now, especially my jupiter yod as my merc in 9th is natally trine neptune in scorpio 1st, thus saturn moving back to conjunct again at 8", yep all flowing well and feel like this is the time of my life I have been patient for to feel I belong. I have felt like an observer lately and like others above, the grossnes of situations i have seen along the way lately, as sad as they are, I just do my best to stifle the humour I see in the behaviours and so called logic, my new saying, Common sense? no such thing any more, it is now Rare sense lol!

Greetings Robert, I have a question and hoping you may shed some light, although not related to your posted article. The upcoming solar eclipse on May 10 2013 @ 19 degrees Taurus is exactly conjunct my south node in 7th house, my north node is 19 degrees Scorpio in 1st house. My ascendant is 18 degrees Scorpio and the sun is @ 23 degrees Taurus in 7th house. My birthday is May 14th and I will also have a Venus return on that day as well. So much is going on and I can actually "feel" the energy tremendously. Does an eclipse on the south node describe an ending? Life no longer seems the same. Date of birth 5/14/1957. Thank you kindly for any response you may offer.

Thanks for this important information. I will share it with our Full Moon Group Tuesday evening and our Intro Astrology Class Thursday evening. It will be a good test to see how much they can understand. The problem with teaching something is that you are supposed to understand it yourself (grin).

Dear Robert, looks like this post resonated with a lot of people. As a Cancer with Mars in Cap I've had more than my share of freakouts. My best advice to everyone is learn how to ride the waves. Be the cork on the ocean. This is pretty much how I've survived and maintained my sanity. So far. I also appreciate the responses here. Looking forward to your next article! Namaste :)

ps- i really sympathize with the gal who lost her job. a similar strange thing happened to me last summer. i was hired at a UPS store around my birthday June 29 and was so excited to finally have a job. the higher ups suddenly shut the store down overnight and my job went up in smoke. i was surprised and hurt. i kind of chalked it up to those squares in the cardinal signs. Uranus square my sun and Pluto opposite. just lovely. those two again. i was pouting for weeks and i still have no job. just comparing experiences here. but i'm okay with life in general right now. :)
