I’m still composing Solar Eclipse articles, and getting ready for the internet radio interview tomorrow. But I was deeply moved by something, and that gave rise to this brief article.
We all figure there must be a significant transit to one of our planets for something to happen. However, even if that’s true, we will re-experience feelings about that event when the Moon returns to where it was when that event happened.
For example, all day I’ve been feeling some very complex emotions about something in my past. After I realized these feelings weren’t going away and could not be ignored, I looked up the day the original event happened, and it turns out that when I began to experience these feelings today, the Moon was very close to where it was when the original event happened.
So it’s the Lunar Return for that event. Regardless of the Lunar aspects to my natal chart in the original event, the return of the Moon to its place then brought a return of feelings related to that event in powerful ways.
Because the original event had the Moon in my 9th house, with this return of the Moon to my 9th house and conjunct the Lunar position of the original event, it explains why despite feeling very deeply I’m also somewhat philosophical about what happened then and how I’m experiencing it now. I would think that whatever house an event falls in would tell us a lot about our response to that event.
So when you start to feel deeply about something, and a memory or five come up from your depths, you may want to take a look at where the Moon was when that original event happened. You could just find astral patterns in your subconscious mind that need to be acknowledged, released, and blessed. It’s better than sitting around and feeling peculiar, and by learning to navigate the astral world in a conscious manner, then our feelings are allowed to flow. In this life there are many rivers to cross...

That's really interesting; recently I shivered, shook and finally submitted my way through the cardinal T's square transit to my Sun @ 4 Aries for several years and had this kind of experience over and over again - no idea how the lunar degrees lined up as....well..I just don't remember or keep records from that far back but your idea definitely rings a bell - will take more notice in future, because I think you're probably right...

That's really good advice! I have periods like that when something in the past seems to come back and brings deep feeling back to me about it! Thanks Robert!

How interesting! One of the most significant meetings of my life took place with the moon at 29 Pisces, a degree you've written eloquently about. While related memories come up all the time, I'll pay attention to the moon in Pisces especially.

That could explain some of the 'where the heck did that come from' experiences that come and go. They pass quickly but in the moment I am transfixed, even though it doesn't seem relevant to now.

Yes Robert. My Progressed Moon in Pisces 12th these past 2+ years has brought me back emotionally to where I was about 30 years ago when I had this same transit. FEELS exactly the same. The pain, the powerlessness, the feeling trapped and alone...all the same.
Last Progressed Moon in Pisces 12th- Mother (Moon) went to prison for drugs and other stuff(12th) and I felt completely alone in my everyday life. I couldn't function well with all the family chaos, and had to leave high school early and go to work. Also had chronic illness and my own hospitalization at that time.
This time around- Grandma, who raised me (Moon) has been losing her memory (Neptune). I've been through another chronic illness (12th Pisces) and problems with my feet (Pisces). With my health, I've been in bed a lot or retiring every chance I get. However, my energy is returning and see the Aries way out in Aug, where P Moon will be in my 1st.
But again, the feeling memories are EXACTLY the same as then. I look forward to the feeling I had then too when that transit ended. Keeps me from giving up! Love to you, Xenia
