Astrology in late July 2013 - The Great Sextile Merkaba

There is a lot of discussion about the coming Grand Sextile, aka “Merkaba” or Star of Solomon that will happen when the Moon in Taurus forms a Grand Earth Trine which interlocks with the Grand Water Trine already in play. So what can we expect?

First, this phenomenon is set into motion with the Moon in Taurus trine Venus in Virgo, creating a Grand Earth Trine with Pluto. However, since it involves the Moon, it is a quickly passing matter, since the Moon is only in Taurus for a day(July 29, early morning PDT through late nigh PDT, July 29-30 in Europe and points east) making the various oppostions, sextiles, and trines involved in an 6 pointed Star pattern.

However, it is recurring off and on for several days if we count the Asc in Taurus filling in the 6th point during the late night hours when Taurus is on the Ascendant. And I suppose we could also count to MC if we are speaking of something involving directional matters. Taurus is on the MC around sunrise at this time of the year.

And of course, when the Sun and Mercury move through early Virgo in late August it'll be in play again. Since the early Earth transits are quickly passing, to me the Grand Water Trine is the BIG deal, with Pluto anchoring the long wave Earth. That means 4 points are active all the time during the span, with Taurus and Virgo filled in by transits.

Due to the spread in the degrees of the planets involved, it should work as a sequence of aspects that are triggered as the Asc makes each individual aspect. Awareness will be up via the multiple oppositions, but remember while you're enjoying the flow of the water trines that they're always followed by the sudden plunges of the Cardinal T-squares.

We'll build through the Great Sextile, and integrate and release through the T. So enjoy the flow, since we’ve all been shown avenues of emotional intelligence and development since early June, but remember to keep your balance, sense of perspective and proportion, and inner equipoise through the extremes represented by the various oppositions to Pluto that are always followed by the hard angles to Uranus.

I’ll compose something about the qualities involved in this 6 pointed Star pattern in the near future. In any case, those of us with planets in the first 10 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces will no doubt be in a major productive mode during this time, with many realizations that make things crystal clear for us.

What a great way to celebrate my birthday! I'm just going with the flow. So far so good. When 12 noon hits that day I hope to be deep in meditation getting ready to experience another insightful year. I'm letting g o of the old & ready to accept the new that comes my way. Sometimes life is grand other times I want to hide but I just let it roll. Life is funny that way. Blessings to you & all!

One very interesting thing I noted:

The Trine in Earth which will be interlocking next week the one in Water occurs at 9 degrees Earth, the same as the Grand Trine in Earth in March 2012, when Venus-Jupiter-BM Lilith (conjunct at 9 Taurus) trined Mars at 9 Virgo and Pluto at 9 Capricorn. I find it most interesting that Pluto has exactly the same position as back then and that the same planets involved then are involved now in the Grand Sextile(Jupiter conjunct BM Lilith, Pluto, Mars, Venus).

I think it will relate somehow to the events that happened then

Happy birthday, Dorothea. I wish I could post "like" to Mel's question, because, as with Debbie, me too. I am hopeful. I don't understand anything that is going on right now, even with Robert's exquisite explanations, but I am hopeful, grateful, and holding my dreams to my heart. Strange times.

Thank you ka for the well wishes. I've heard so much about this star of David. Some have mentioned the bringing together of heaven & earth. Getting in touch with your feminine & masculine sides.I am personally experiencing very "highs" & a few hours of bumpy rides or dips in the water every week. So when the agitation starts I've been tuning out to the sounds of water. Rain,pools, ocean,rivers, whatever I can get. Running water does wonders right now. At the end I dry off on land. Climb up to the safety of home. Feel the earth beneath me and breathe. Floating & grounding. This has been keeping me sane the past few months. I know the end is still a bit away but there is a quiet place there in the storm. These are strange times indeed.
