It seems that some very heavy decisions and events have come down the past several days on a global level. I took a look and it seems biseptiles are front and center!
Over the past several days, Mars has been at 23-24 Cancer. That forms an exact biseptile to Saturn at 7 Scorpio from 24 Cancer, and an exact biseptile to Uranus at 13 Aries from 25 Cancer. A biseptile is an angle of 102 degrees and 52 minutes, and we are told by one interpretation it means “exteriorization of destiny.” Like all septile series aspects, it represents a major turning point where “forks in the road of destiny” are encountered and crucial decisions and choices are made.
The septile (51d 26m) is personal, whereas the biseptile and triseptile (154d 18m) work in the interpersonal realm. Because Mars makes double biseptiles to Saturn and Uranus which are forming the last in a series of triseptiles over the next few weeks, this time focuses that triseptile energy through current events precipitated by Mars. It does seem the world is heating up right now in many ways, and that we’re making crucial decisions that set the course for the future.
Due to the orb of septile-series aspects, the approximate hot zones being triggered right now involve 22-27 Cancer, 13-18 Virgo, 5-10 Scorpio, 26 Sagittarius-1 Capricorn, 18-23 Aquarius, 10-15 Aries, and 1-6 Gemini. Also remember that the Ascendant crosses all 7 of these zones during the course of the day, so it’s triggered 7 times every 24 hours.
Mars began to activate this activity on August 12, and will continue to be a part of the action through August 23. The Moon will bring focus to this energy August 12 (conjunct Saturn in Scorpio biseptile Mars triseptile Uranus), August 16-17 (Capricorn activating a 4th point septile Saturn, biseptile Uranus, and triseptile Mars), August 20 (Aquarius - 4th point biseptile Saturn, septile Uranus, and triseptile Mars), and August 23-24 (conjunct Uranus in Aries biseptile Mars and triseptile Saturn).
This will act out wherever we have Aries, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Aquarius due to those signs activated by transits signifying outer events. They will impact us and our view and ways of relating to life areas involving Aries, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Aquarius, since the rulers of those signs are what are setting things into motion at this time.
For astrologers and historians, we’ll close by noting again that this is the last in the long series of Saturn triseptiles to Uranus. I would think this would mark “forks in the road” of how the traditional relates to the innovative, how the various governmental and economic systems relate to the ability to go through broad based changes, and how the rules of a structure deal with revolutionary conditions.
The current period of upheaval and the accompanying major choices and changes the world is going through was set up during the last series of waxing triseptiles between Saturn and Uranus. These occurred between October and December 2005 and again August-September 2006 when Saturn was in mid Leo and Uranus was in early Pisces, and again in February-March 2007 and June-July 2007 when Saturn was in late Leo and Uranus was in mid Pisces.
That period marked the final major waxing aspect milestone in the Saturn-Uranus cycle that began with their conjunction at 29d 56m Sagittarius in February 1988. They conjuncted again with Saturn RX at 29 Sagittarius in June 1988, and conjuncted again for the final time in October 1988 at 28 Sagittarius. That means 28, 29, and 30 Sagittarius are the themes for this Saturn-Uranus cycle that began in 1988 and will last until their next conjunction at 29 Gemini in June 2032.
Those late Sagittarius themes set into motion in 1988 that hit their waxing triseptile phase between October 2005 and July 2007 are now finishing their waning triseptile phase in this last sequence. The first of the waning triseptiles of Saturn in late Libra to Uranus in early Aries began November-December 2011, continued in February-March 2012, and finished that set in September-October 2012 with Saturn in early Scorpio and Uranus in early Aries.
We have now gone through the last set of triseptiles between Saturn and Uranus. These began May 2013 and will be done by late August 2013. There will not be another triseptile from Saturn to Uranus until the next waxing set that begins 2052.
Anyway, just another cosmic moment in the midst of the great swirling irrationality that marks our times. Choose wisely these next few days, since much will be set into motion that determines whether in the future we’ll be oppressed by chains of obsolete emotional rigidity and mental slavery or riding the waves of radical individualization.
To give you a sense of what kinds of turning points or forks in the road are happening, here are a few bits from the news:
Republican party votes to bar CNN, NBC News from partnering in 2016 debates unless they kill multiple Hillary Clinton television projects
Cairo police and military crack down on protesters and consider making the Muslim Brotherhood illegal
Brother of al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri arrested by police
London police investigate suspicions that Princess Di was murdered in a conspiracy by someone in the British military
Human rights groups ask Pakistan government not to resume death penalty and execute thousands
Cosmonauts set the record for the longest Russian spacewalk
Dow has its worst week in 2013
Usain Bolt became the first man to win three world titles in the 200 meter race.
And that’s just in the past few days. We still have more to go at this cosmic fork in the road of destiny!!

Had been wondering what was happening in this huge wave personally and those public events as mentioned and was trying to put it on the waxing full moon but this makes much more sense, thank you

I have Divine mother in 10th house biseptile Chiron in 4th, thus my constant public communications about the healing of the wound that has left mothers so distant from the real natural mother role that it threatens our species if left u nchecked, I know I go on about it too much sometime, but it is a passion that has powered me to do the very challenging work myself, regardless of the threats from society for my daring to not tow the modern day line. It was your description of the biseptile that resonated so strongly with me that it had me go straight to my chart and see what was biseptile my natal Divine mother point, voila, Chiron in 4th. Of Course I also have Sun and Merc in Cancer 9th house and a yod from Nth Node sextile sun both quincunx Saturn at penultimate degree of capricorn in 3rd, nope, I was never going to be able to remain silent on this. The mother of our species, or mother nature, both have the power to destroy if abused enough.

This makes so much sense. I was waiting for what went down in October 2005 to come forth. Gosh and this week I had this feeling that I had reached the point of no return on some level. Awesome as usual. Not that the transition is/was easy, but eventful.

If transiting saturn is squaring natal uranus while there is a biseptile goin on between the two, would that be added energy push for whatever realization that is emerging?

Hi Caliban - Not sure how T Sat can square N Ur with a biseptile. Are you speaking of a natal biseptile between the two? Sat sq Ur manifestation depends on if it's waxing or waning.

Transiting saturn is in waning square with natal uranus. Interesting, the waxing square was hell. The conjunction was pretty and not so pretty. And okay here I am ejected out of all those circumstances. Maybe I'm makin no sense but was thinking about the transiting septile, in relationship to the transiting saturn square to my natal and progressed (really doesn't move much) uranus.

Had that arse backwards. T saturn is in waxing square. The waning square was nasty. Either which way feel compelled now to take a look at the saturn uranus cycle. Natally they are more in an out of sign trine, and progressively now in fire trine. Sorry for the confusion. Slowly I am getting a better idea of what I need to explore.
