Astrology Now in August 2013 - Jupiter Square Uranus Bringing the Emergent Revolution!

Today Jupiter squares Uranus! This is a huge turning point separating past and future!

First, Jupiter is “the expansive principle.” It’s in Cancer, the sign of taking care of needs and securing what is required to sustain our outreach. That’s why feelings are so important right now in finding truth and a larger vision or protection for our outreaching activities.

At the waxing (“lower”) square we confront a “crisis of emergence,” a turning point relative to whatever forces once made a conjunction that led to this stage in the cycle. In this case, Jupiter conjuncted Uranus three times in 2010-2011. (I wrote about that conjunction extensively during those months, so check out the articles if you want to know more.)

The first Jupiter conjunction Uranus happened at 1 Aries in June 2010. The second conjunction happened when Jupiter was retrograde and conjoined Uranus at 29 Pisces in September 2010. The third and final conjunction happened with Jupiter direct in January 2011 at 28 Pisces. This made these points “hot” through the next Jupiter conjunct Uranus that happens at 22 Taurus in April 2024.

This square shows a larger friction between the expansive principle and the transpersonal revolutionary atmosphere. This is the first of several squares that mark a larger frictional period that includes a retrograde square in February 2014 from 11 Cancer to Aries, which stays fairly constant as Jupiter goes direct in March and makes the final square in April from 14 Cancer (Sirius alert!) to 14 Aries.

This square from Jupiter in Cancer to the ongoing revolutionary Uranus in Aries is awakening a new sense of necessity, of protection, of caring, and of assuring basic security. The global news certainly confirms this. As this square happens from 13 Cancer to 13 Aries, it challenges us to a greater strength combined with flexibility as we bring new identities to the fore while learning patience.

Find ways to use creative imagination, or a playful imagination, to dream what might be while keeping in mind that it’s a time of RADICAL transcendence. I cannot emphasize that enough. This is the edge of the future that will be propelled forward in extreme ways in 2014.

Because this is still close enough to be a functioning Cardinal T-square between Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto, maintain equilibrium and a sense of perspective! Obviously it’s affecting anyone with a planet or angle between 8 and 15 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, as well as between 23 and 30 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Stay on track, don’t explode sideways, get oriented, and plug your drive in gear. Find the rhythm that keeps everything moving forward rhythmically and harmoniously, and use Venus to resolve the Grand Fixed Cross that begins now and recurs off and on through early October. These are all dress rehearsals for what we’ll be dealing with when Mars moves through Libra and precipitates the Grand Cardinal Cross in 2014 that will shake a lot up! More on that down the line.

One final thought. Please keep in mind that aspects are very active even after they are exact. In this case, for at least through the end of August, and it’ll be triggered every time any planet moves through any of the zones listed above. And to note, it sets up the incredibly important biseptile in October and November. And yes, more on that as well down the line.

If that should happen...perhaps u should warn the troupes on which "sideways side" should explode when there is no way out! eg.left/right? If I may be vocal here without interrupting your AURA DORA ..Perhaps a right brain explosion raining Justice with Compassion, Creativity, Unconditional Love and Transformation could possibly create a Slippin' and Slidin' Planet Party of Peace!
