There’s so much news these days that I’m having to combine stories. Thanks to two friends of the site, today we read that ALL Bluefin Tuna caught off California are radioactive and that Monsanto has hired Blackwater (yes, THAT Blackwater) to collect information on protesters and infiltrate anti-Monsanto organizations.
First, STOP EATING BLUE FIN TUNA! In this news story titled Radioactive Bluefin Tuna Caught Off California Coast we find that “Every bluefin tuna tested in the waters off California has shown to be contaminated with radiation that originated in Fukushima. Every single one.”
From the story:
Over a year ago, in May of 2012, the Wall Street Journal reported on a Stanford University study. Daniel Madigan, a marine ecologist who led the study, was quoted as saying, “The tuna packaged it up (the radiation) and brought it across the world’s largest ocean. We were definitely surprised to see it at all and even more surprised to see it in every one we measured.”Another member of the study group, Marine biologist Nicholas Fisher at Stony Brook University in New York State reported, “We found that absolutely every one of them had comparable concentrations of cesium 134 and cesium 137.”
The Fukushima disaster is an ongoing battle with no signs that humans are gaining the upper hand. The only good news to come out of Japan has later been proven to be false and was nothing more than attempts by Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) to mislead the public and lull them into a sense of security while the company searched vainly for ways to contain the accident. This incident makes Three Mile Island and Chernobyl pale in comparison. Those were nuclear meltdowns. A nuclear melt-through poses a much more serious problem and is one that modern technology doesn’t have the tools to address. Two and a half years later and the contaminants are still flowing into the ocean and will continue to for the foreseeable future.
The FDA assures us that our food supply is safe, that the levels of radiation found in fish samples are within safe limits for consumption. But one has to question if this is true and, if it is true now, will it remain true?
Please check out the entire story, and stop eating Bluefin tuna. I suspect this is just the first of many such stories letting us know that our government and the government of Japan do not have our best interests at heart when it comes to the food supply.
Speaking of the food supply, we now turn to another story about the creator of frankenfoods, odious global villain Monsanto. Though this story is a few months old, it comes via South Africa’s Channel 24, since clearly no media outlet in the US wanted to touch this story with a 20 foot pole.
In this news story titled The Monsanto Blackwater Connection we read that “Monsanto has contracted the firm Blackwater ... to collect intelligence on activists opposed to the global food producer, as well as infiltrate their ranks.” Apparently the contract is for a half a million big ones. From the story:
Remember the private mercenary army Blackwater, which caused a stir in Iraq, during an unprovoked attack in 2007. Apparently, Monsanto and the controversial security firm are in bed together, described by blogger Randy Ananda as "a death- tech firm weds a hit squad"Notorious for the Iraqi Nisour Square Massacre, Blackwater "created a web of more than 30 shell companies or subsidiaries in part to obtain millions of dollars in American government contracts after the security company came under intense criticism for reckless conduct in Iraq " reports the New York Times. One of these subsidiaries became Total Intelligence, the company contracted by Monsanto between 2008-2010 to collect intelligence on activists rallying against GMO crops and other Monsanto activities, Journalist Jeremy Schahill states in The Nation.
By all means check out either or both of these stories. And STOP EATING PACIFIC BLUEFIN TUNA! Unless you want to glow in the dark, in which case you’ll save on light bulbs.

Hi all - Speaking of Fukushima, thanks to a fan of the site in Japan I just got this link. It seems according to someone interviewed over there (just translated into English) that the Japanese government is trying to brainwash the population into believing if they just smile, they will not be susceptible to radioactive poisoning. From the story: "...the Japanese government's Fukushima Radiation Health Risk Advisor uses a hypnotic, droning speech pattern to try to convince his audience of absolutely bizarre quack science beliefs like "people who drink aren't affected by radiation" or that "laughter will remove your radiation phobia." Wow. Check it out. The system is busted beyond repair.

"The FDA assures us our food supply is safe..." I lost faith in them quite a long time ago.
As for Monsanto hiring Blackwater - doesn't much surprise me. Monsanto is just plain evil.
