I just got off the road, so tonight we celebrate songs about dancing!
To that end, we have some great attitude in dancing for dancing sake! Dancing is definitely a statement in itself, and shows how centered we are, how bold we are, how joyous we are, and how willing we are to sheik ourbouties. Do take some time to dance to at least one of these songs about dancing, for your heart’s sake, your joy’s sake, and your Soul’s sake, since it dances through Eternity for all time! (Some will require you waiting for it to buffer, but they’re worth it!)
From last week’s birthday boy Bobby Fuller, our Saturday Night Attitude Dance tune! “Let Her Dance”
Also from the Bobby Fuller Four, the original tune that became our Saturday Night Attitude dance song, “Keep On Dancing”
From the Gentrys in 1965, a totally different tune with a similar sentiment, performed live on Shindig! “Keep On Dancing”
From Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, yet another different version with the same name! “Keep On Dancing” (Yes, it is also known by another name, but this one fits!)
Here are the Beach Boys live in concert doing their ginormous 1965 hit! “Dance Dance Dance”
Live from Chicago, a song with the same title but a totally different groove! Here’s the great Steve Miller and band doing their version of “Dance Dance Dance”
Here’s Neil Young live at the BBC in 1971 doing a solo acoustic performance of his own composition, yet another version of “Dance Dance Dance”
From the awesome David Bowie, a great live performance of “Let’s Dance”
From “A Hard Day’s Night,” written by John and sung by George, here are the Beatles in that movie offering up “I’m So Happy Just To Dance With You”
From 1958, a video clip of Bobby Freeman cranking out the original version of his hit “Do You Wanna Dance?”
From the Bee Gees, all three very live joined by Brother Andy when he was still "stayin' alive," here’s the rockin’ “You Should Be Dancin’”
From 1959, Ben E. King fronting the Drifters in their classic hit, “Dance With Me”
From 1975, live on the Midnight Special, here’s Orleans, with their hit, a different tune with the same name! “Dance With Me”
From Abba, a live performance from back when of “Dancing Queen”
From the Boss, a great live performance of “Dancing in the Dark”
As usual, we’ll close with our opener, the great Bobby Fuller with our Saturday Night Attitude Dance tune “Let Her Dance”

My Saturday Night Dancing Attitude kicked in Sunday morning before the sun began to rise. Absolutely phenomenal way for this double Pisces Baby Boomer (3/18/1953)to start the day. Thanks, Robert, for the juicy kickstart and the great memories.
