We are now in the eye of the hurricane! This week’s run up to next Sunday’s Solar Eclipse at 12 Scorpio shows a time of changes, breakthroughs, sudden and/or unexpected developments, not necessarily bad. We have great aspects this week within the larger tensions.
Old Moon phases show times of the closing of the old Lunation cycle, preparing us for the next New Moon, in this case a Solar Eclipse which I’ll write more on in a few days. To note, that will bring long wave endings in the house where it falls at 12 Scorpio.
As we’re still dealing with the endings of the recent Lunar Eclipse at 26 Aries-Libra which lasts a few more weeks, pay attention to both these sectors. Some of this began last November with that Solar Eclipse at 22 Scorpio which has been exerting an influence these past 12 months wherever that fell in our charts. This continues those endings, adding a new pulse of shedding skins while further pulling us magnetically to growth in all Scorpionic ways.
For now, since Mercury is still retrograde on its way to the Inferior Conjunction happening 1:19 pm PDT, 8:19 pm Greenwich (not BST!) Friday, Nov 1 at 10 Scorpio, finish up, consolidate, figure out what to eliminate, while being aware this week and next week are the heart of the most volatile zone of the Uranus square Pluto. Very definitely pay attention on October 31 and November 1, since the Moon in Libra sets a T-square in motion that will echo the recent T-squares and Grand Cardinal Crosses I wrote about not long ago. Just remember that when the Ascendant or Midheaven moves through Cancer in your part of the world, a Grand Cross will be formed for a brief period of time.
Find what you care about, and nurture that this week. Play good defense rather than offense. Be cautious as you move sideways, backwards, sideways, and forward. Much can be accomplished this week, even if the pace is curiously slow with stops and starts and occasional quickenings.
I suppose the good news is that Mercury is conjunct Saturn and the North Node as your read these words, and Mars is trine Pluto all week, which should be good for cutting through obstacles and finding the shortest, most efficient way to accomplish tasks. This time will bring some a new consecration, a new dedication, or a new level of functioning, so be joyous as your quicken on “your errand of mercy.”
Other very productive aspects happening in the eye of this hurricane are Mercury sextile Mars along with both Sun and Mercury conjunct sextile Pluto. These are extraordinarily powerful and productive aspects, and shows the coming Inferior Conjunction, or “fusion of life and mind,” will assist much to move forward over the next few months. I’ll explain more in the coming articles on the Inferior Conjunction.
For now, maximum productivity and clarity of what to do and how to do it are in the air through Wednesday, wherever in the world you are. Make the most of this time, but remember to maintain inner equilibrium and stability given the aspects in play.
