Professor Robert’s Webinars and Classes - Update

Now that I’ve gotten some class materials prepared, I am now opening registration for current and future astrological, metaphysical, and spiritual classes and talks.

That said, as I told you a while back, due to overwhelming work I could only offer one or two interactive internet classes in November and December 2013. By early 2014 I should have even more class materials prepared on several subjects, and will announce them on this site as they are ready.

So far, in the "beta" period up to now, the most popular webinar class is “How to Navigate your 50s,” as I’ve had more than a few express interest in that topic. I’ll be offering that class again as people express interest. So please use the comment stream here, or email me directly via the link on the left side of the site.

This subject is of crucial importance for us all, since in my experience that decade we go through more changes, realizations, and endings than any other decade of life. How we navigate that decade of life determines whether what follows is a slog and struggle, or a glorious living of the wisdom of our life experiences.

In this class, we explore the role of Saturn and the Progressed Moon, along with critical outer planet aspects juxtaposed on the backdrop of the 7 year cycles at work in that part of life. After the presentation, I open up the class microphones for a question and answer discussion session.

Whether looking forward to your 50s, looking at your 50s, or looking back on your 50s, this class will be beneficial to anyone who wants to know more about the meaning of the experiences of that decade of life, and how to navigate those years to maximum benefit. This will be helpful in bringing meaning to what occurs in the 50s, and enables us to offer insights to others we love and care for who may be helped by what we explore in the class. Naturally, this class will be of use to "care giving" professionals, counselors or therapists.

At this time, it is a one hour event, with the presentation in the first half, and the discussion in the second half. That webinar is $22. Once I figure out how to do it and what it will cost above the base fee to use the webinar software, recordings of the presentation and copies of the class materials will be made available after the class for a small fee. That will ensure your ability to review the material at your leisure, and so get maximum benefit from the class.

I'm also now taking registration for those who want to attend the webinar on an overview of 2014. Because it's so extensive with a 20 page syllabus of the material we'll be covering, I'm charging $50 for that webinar. It's between 60-90 minutes. I'll continue to offer this in the weeks ahead, since there's a lot going on!!

I also now have materials prepared for classes on inner and outer planetary rulerships in chart analysis, advanced decan analysis, and advanced aspect analysis. For those who don’t have much experience with these, I’m also offering basic classes in each of these. Those who are interested in these things to help their understanding of how various rulerships, dispositors, decan influences, and aspects, both major and minor, work out in our charts should contact me. When I am clear about the timing of when I can schedule the webinars, I’ll contact those who are interested.

At the current time, in order to give enough time for discussion after I present the subject matter, I am limiting attendance to 10 people maximum, though I may expand it somewhat if there’s a way to do it and still preserve the closeness of what the classes have been so far. So I’ll figure out the optimum class size for various topics as we do them in the future.

I am open to suggestions about talks or classes that people want. I can speak about a wide variety of subjects, and want to serve students of the craft, as well as spiritual interests, any way that works for us. So please feel free to leave your suggestions in this comment stream. I will be assembling requests for those who want to attend via the comment stream, and will contact you via the email address you enter with your request.

Hi Robert. I am just confirming my initial interest for the "Navigating the 50's" webminar. I am sure it is very useful as our 50s have a particular meaning/difficulty in the difficult times we are through. I am 52 and I have the insecurity/uncertainty people used to have in their 20s. Well... ok.... I am the kind of person that never settles and no matter the circumstances, I would be always looking for changes, and an unconventional way of life in many respects. But looking around, people who are more conventional and conservative in their approaches I see the insecurity all around. Here in Greece where I live, we literally don't know what is coming tomorrow morning.

Recently I read a book on predictive astrology. One of its themes is the lunar phases of our progressed moon and what that means for our life's events unfoldment. I made an estimation according to the the books suggestions regarding the beggining of each lunar phase and I was indeed astonished to se my whole life's stages unfolding.
I am writing this having in mind that lunar phases could be an interesting topic for a webminar, provided other people are interested too?

Hi Robert.

I enjoyed the webminar. I always thought I am a late bloomer, but you convinced me this is not the case. I was just influenced by social norms and expectations, or rather watching so many people follow them. Very comforting.

My question is about life cycles and progressed moon phases. I have calculated the phases of my previous progressed new moon that took place on 9/09/1991. I identified when each phase starts and my life's main events. I was surprised to see that they fit the phases. Not in terms of the facts per se, but in terms of when the main life project starts, and its evolution. I am in a transitional phase at the moment, a little while before entering the 3rd quarter. My next new progressed moon is on 17/03/2021. I hope to have a new beginning then.
What is the relationship of these NM phases and the cycles you referred to in your seminar?

Hi Kate - Good suggestion for a webinar. For now, I can say the prog Moon phases should be taken in tandem with the Saturn cycle. Prog Moon makes a lower square before transiting Saturn makes a lower square. Prog Moon makes a sesquisquare to natal Moon when it moves from First Quarter to Gibbous. Transiting Saturn makes its sesquisquare just after.

HOWEVER! The problem with any examination of personal prog Moon cycles is that each is individualized in terms of when those Lunar phase shifts occur. Depending on where our Moon is, and how long it spends in any given sector of signs as it moves from perigee to apogee and back to perigee, a variance is created between the timing of our prog Moon phases and other peoples' prog Moon phases.

So while there may be consistent shifts as the Moon moves from New to Crescent to First Quarter to Gibbous to Full to Disseminating to Third Quarter to Balsamic back to New, there will be very wide variance in what age each of these happens, depending on the speed of the prog Moon. And that entirely depends on what time of the year you were born and where the natal Moon was.

I am very interested in the series as well. I am at the start of my second progressed lunar return. Cancer at 9 degrees and now it is just back to Cancer at 0 degrees. Looks like Nov 9th is when it will be at 9 degrees. Do you have a report that addresses this return?
