Yes, JFK’s death day is also Jesse Colin Young’s birthday.
Jesse Colin Young (November 22, 1941) is a folk singer who will forever be known for one gigantic hit back in 1967 when he was with The Youngbloods. I thought it appropriate as a remembrance for JFK, martyred US president taken out by some despicable men 50 years ago today. And I'm sure that Jesse's 22nd birthday was a huge drag.
For your consideration, a memory of something millions sang so very long ago…..
Before you go to the link, something to consider.
”Get together”
Love is but the song we sing, and fear's the way we die
You can make the mountains ring, or make the angels cry
Know the dove is on the wing and you need not know why
C'mon people now, smile on your brother
Ev'rybody get together try and love one another right now
Some will come and some will go, we shall surely pass
When the one that left us here returns for us at last
We are but a moment’s sunlight fading in the grass
C'mon people now, smile on your brother
Ev'rybody get together try and love one another right now
If you hear the song I sing, you must understand
You hold the key to love and fear all in your trembling hand
Just one key unlocks them both, it's there at your command
C'mon people now, smile on your brother
Ev'rybody get together try and love one another right now
Right now
Right now!

What a fitting tribute song Robert! I loved listening to it again. And still so timely after all these years. I'm reading a book that is sooo appropriate to these times: Life's Operating Manual, with the Fear and Truth Dialogues by Tom Shadyac, I invite everyone to check it out.
