I’ll be composing the New Moon articles after I get a few urgent things done today. For now, I’ll just say it’s a radical time, with more to come over the next few weeks. Forks in the road of destiny await all of us!!
This New Moon will fall at 11 Capricorn, a degree Pluto has been dancing over since late January 2013. That’s one factor in why we’ve all been learning how to “bring beauty out of wilderness” since then. Because Pluto in this New Moon chart is 12 Capricorn and Mercury is 13 Capricorn, it pulls together the squares to Mars at 12 Libra and oppositions to Jupiter, throwing the void into Aries.
This is an extraordinary New Moon, in that it will definitely break up log jams in the lives of individuals and nations!! Since it holds sway through the month of January, we should see signs and signals of more radical things to come once Uranus again transits 11-13 Aries in February and March.
This is such a volatile New Moon that we will definitely see extreme circumstances, extreme arguments, extreme coercions, and more likely than not, extremely self-destructive manipulations in those people, organizations, and nations most affected by these squares and oppositions. For some, it will prove to be the beginning of sprouting seeds of regeneration and power; for others, the beginning of the annihilation of old forms.
Given where Saturn is, expect “conflict between old and new perspectives,” and be willing to “face chaos for the sake of a new order.” Obviously since the New Moon septiles both Saturn and Neptune, the Grand Irrationality will be front and center this month.
That means a relatively crazy time when things won’t make a lot of sense, and decisions will be made that have important implications not that far down the road. Coercive manipulations will be played out, but are destined to crash and burn, since this is a relatively “unyielding” New Moon.
Be willing to move into pioneering new directions with sensitivity and a sense of caution. A lot that is set into motion by this New Moon will be much clearer by late February and March, and the growth promised during January will help us deal with the hodgepodge traffic jams in the collective consciousness.
So I will remind you again, go slow, take it easy, be thoughtful as you see what must be transcended, with courage, patience, perseverance, and determination. We’ve already seen the preliminary manifestations of this time of extreme volatility in outer world events. Which leads me to remind you again, become “the corrective force of Nature Herself,” and you can move through the outer chaos with calm, clarity, intention, and integrity.

First time commenter. As I was reading this, I kept saying, oh no!
In my life, there is much upheaval along with dealing with very negative/destructive/angry/sick elderly parents. The upheaval being caused mostly by the elderly parents and their folly directly affecting my life.
Oh No!

This is what the doctor ordered... without having realized it was a new moon, too, I have planned to spend New Year's day purging my home of stuff that I no longer need to make room for new beginnings.

If the group new years bubbly toast said anything, we are all looking forward to 2014. I do believe we are in rhythm with the 'corrective force of Nature herself' that you mentioned. It is much more fun that cursing it.

Much more fun 'than' cursing it. Must have some bubbles in my brain yet. Will have to keep an eye on my motor skills. No hasty wasty.
