This is an interesting time, since the Sun is now at the final degree of Aquarius, and about to enter Pisces and conjunct Neptune and septile Pluto, setting the Grand Irrationality into motion. We are now "seeing the Light" of the Age of Aquarius. What does this mean and why is it profoundly important?
I’ve given you a lot about the Grand Irrationality recently, so we won’t cover that today. This is the final year when the Sun’s transit from Aquarius to Pisces will trigger this configuration, since by 2015 Pluto will be 15 Capricorn and semi-squared by the Sun. That said, the fact that at this time each year from 2011 to 2014 the Sun has triggered the Grand Irrationality is highly significant in precipitating events that will lead directly to the coming Age of Aquarius.
The Sun in the last degrees of Aquarius shows that we’ve just come through 48 hours of experiencing the transformational energies of the 29th and 30th degrees of Aquarius. Of some major importance is each year this triggers effects from what Uranus awakened across the world associated with its retrograde station at 29 Aquarius in 2002 followed by its direct station in 2003.
Neptune began to “dream the awakening into collective consciousness” when it went stationary retrograde on that degree in 2010, and set a platform for the atmosphere we’ve all been experiencing since then when it went stationary direct on that degree in 2011. As 29 and 30 Aquarius, along with 1 and 2 Pisces, is the zone of the “Cusp of the Great Age,” these “Transpersonal planetary stations” show us what’s down the road for the next 150 years.
29 Aquarius is “butterfly emerging from chrysalis." The Sun vitalizes and illuminates whatever it touches. That means at this exact time of the year humanity again experiences (if briefly) a long wave critical period of metamorphosis where we can “see the light” of why we have all had to go through a complete transformation of our lives the past 12 years.
So Uranus awakened this long wave metamorphosis in humanity beginning May 2002 when it went stationary retrograde at 29 Aquarius. After moving back and forth across the last degrees of Aquarius and the first degrees of Pisces, it then went stationary direct on that degree November 2003. That awakening set many revolutions into motion in our world, individually and collectively.
Jupiter then expanded and enlarged the “pulse of awakening” into personal and collective philosophies and belief systems when it crossed 29 Aquarius in January 2010. This was immediately followed by Neptune going stationary retrograde on that degree in May 2010, moving this Aquarian transformational energy into the collective unconscious in a vast tide of feeling-awareness.
It then moved back and forth across the final degrees of Aquarius and first degree of Pisces until going stationary direct in November 2011, which as noted set a platform for the atmosphere we’ve all been experiencing since then. This moved many widespread tides of metamorphosis into motion, which is what we’ve all been feeling on the deepest of levels for the past four years.
Now that Neptune has moved into Pisces, not returning to Aquarius until March 2161, these long wave Aquarian patterns are no longer being formed; since 2010-2011 they’ve been set as patterns in collective consciousness that will be triggered various times by various transits. The Sun’s transit over this degree yesterday powered up the transformational energies of 29 Aquarius, and has completed its transit of 30 Aquarius, the degree of conscious unity within the larger Light Field that we all are together.
So the Sun has again powered up these long wave transformational energies. When the Sun slips into Pisces today, February 18, at 10 am PST, 1 pm EST, 6 pm Greenwich, it will enter 1 Pisces for 24 hours. 1 Pisces is where Neptune went stationary retrograde in 2011, and went stationary direct in 2012. So the Sun shines a light on these themes each year at this time.
Long time readers know I believe the precessional point is still 1 Pisces, and we won’t be fully into the Age of Aquarius until a few decades pass. Even then, we’ll be dealing with echoes of Piscean Age thinking and living until a few more decades pass. The huge awareness of the Unified Field will no doubt occur once we’ve entered the Age of Aquarius and collectively experience what 30 Aquarius is all about.
Given that 1 Pisces is where we are at right now during the end of the Age of Pisces, taking a closer look at the meaning of 1 Pisces may help give you a sense of what we’ve been dealing with in a larger evolutionary sense since the 1980s. And of course, the Sun conjunct Neptune sets a whole new year of Neptunian energies into motion, so it’s an important cycle unto itself, like the Sun-Pluto and Sun-Uranus cycles. These set Transpersonal-Spiritual energy patterns that play out across humanity over the year that follows.
So consider this a moment in time when you can get hints, glimpses, and intuitive flashes of the larger evolutionary point of human awareness, as it has been and continues to be at this end of the Piscean Age, as well as a sense of what is to come beginning the last half of this century into the next as humanity moves into the Age of Aquarius. This time illuminates the area of reality where the old Age gives way to the new.

29 Aquarius sth node, it is happening good and quickly, staying with the process and the cycles within cycles. Finally genuinely feeling free from the claustrophobic restraints of outdated family dogma (in 4th house) Thank you for the confirmation, it always helps to have it, as intuition and emotions do not have logical reasoning at the time.

I have been mulling over how this is occurring just as my generation (mid 30s) is undergoing pluto square pluto. It's almost like that transit is forming us all into fully matured beings to undertake the collective evolutionary work of the transition. Maybe especially so for those of us with lots of cardinal representation too. The great fracturing is exactly on my personal planets in mid libra and cancer, feels like the culmination/beginning that dovetails with what you are addressing. Thank you again for another thought provoking, informative post.

The movement of humanity from Piscean to Aquarian age, I believe can be symbolized beautifully by the achievement of Success with the International Space Station. With its first component launch in 1998, interestingly when Neptune began transiting Aquarius and Uranus well entrenched in this sun sign. That event to me, shows the wonderment of humankind progress and its awakening of our very long term future co-operating together on a global scale. I wonder how much of the solar system or local galaxy we would have explored (and settled) by the time Neptune returns to the sign of Aquarius in 2161?

What is the astrological argument behind the procession point at 1 Pisces?
Give thx
