We’re now partway through the heart of the storm, and as many of you know, my blog servers have been continually attacked and shut down for quite a while. So while thousands of you have come to check out what’s been written, some miscreants with nothing else to do but make a mess of things have jammed everyone’s gears.
If you're reading this, it means you're one of the few who can get through to the site. I'll be posting more as I have access to the control panel.
Anyway, I trust the interruptions haven’t been too much to take. Jupiter is now past the heart of its square to Uranus and opposition to Pluto, so that leg of the mess should clear up. However, today we have Uranus square Pluto AGAIN, a force majure we’ll be dealing with for a long time to come.
We still have the Mars leg of the Grand Cross to navigate these next couple of days, so take care, be balanced in your responses, and be patient, since this too will pass. I for one will be glad when we live in a world that cooperates rather than attacks, a world where builders are valued and destroyers take a back seat, knowing when to do that and when not to do that, and to whom. Of all the things to hack, why typepad and not the DoD? Why a bunch of bloggers and not Putin?
And I know I cannot take this personally, since thousands around the world are in shock and grief at what’s been happening during the time this Cross has been in play. And it’s not over....
Blessings be as we navigate some very destructive times in our world.

ps - This is a perfect example of something that is beyond my control. I only WISH I were "in control." Therefore it's a perfect example of how we do NOT "create our own reality." All I can do is be patient, since there's absolutely nothing I can do except that. I have learned well from Saturn, that the reward of patience is patience. And keep writing so that there will be plenty to post once everything is back up.
Dear Robert, I like and respect you opinion. And whilst I realise that the last few days, if not weeks, have been intense for many, I am a little perplexed about this off the cuff remark about Putin. The implication is that you think Putin is someone who attacks others, and that you align yourself with those who cooperate and build. I'm surprised that you have fallen so easily for the outright propaganda and one-sidedness that the western media have been pursuing for the last few months over the Ukraine situation. Reading Paul Craig Roberts would be a good place to start. There are many other respected people commenting on this and I'm sure you'll find them if you allow yourself. I think you will find that the situation is as complex as any other. And I'm sure you already know that. But beyond that don't you think it is time for Americans to stop flippantly demonising leaders of foreign countries that the military-industrial complex have decided that they wish to attack at that particular moment? "Oh that Putin (or x, y, z) he's just a madman". Doesn't the astro call for a new, less reactive, more measured approach? Perhaps yours was meant as a very minor comment, but to me it really stood out. Best wishes.

Hi Silver - Make no mistake, I am very clear about the game being played, as well as the motivations of the players. I know global political history better than most, as it has been one of my specialties for over 40 years, including various eras of imperialism and who has done what. I am no apologist for the death machine - not the US, nor anyone else - and Putin is hip deep in the game as one of the major players.
Putin is a ruthless butcher. Ex heads of KGB (and CIA) are like that. Previous documented "adventures" in dealing out death in restive republics is all the proof one needs of Putin's intentions and methods. So yes, he DOES attack others. Ukraine is just the latest, and yes, unless pictures lie, Putin has blood on his hands and has deliberately put troops in another country for the purpose of taking back an area believed to be part of greater "Mother Russia." Again, I know the history of the region well.
He's no madman, but also no Gandhi, Mandela, or Nyerere. Just another heavy handed ruler who assassinates his adversaries internally, and plays the heavy-handed power game with other butchers on the world stage. No amount of excusing his actions, or saying others are also bad, will wash the blood off Putin's hands.
So yes, I'd rather have Putin and the Pentagon both hacked and shut down than this site. I'd rather have the war machine in any and every country shut down than this site. That was my point.
