Mars opposed Uranus and square Pluto is now past. Still, be vigilant, since an aspect often shows more powerfully after it is exact than when it is exact. So we’re still “riders on the storm” for a while. Stay balanced as you adapt to a different rhythm of unfoldment, and be exceptionally moderate in your responses. Grace, charm, and elegance accomplish more than blunt force anything!
As I write this, all 4 planets in the Grand Cardinal Cross still occupy the 14th degree of their signs. That’s pretty volatile! Jupiter will still be within a degree and a half separating from the opposition to Pluto and square to Uranus until early May, even though these aspects will continue to be triggered for a while.
As I noted yesterday, Uranus will be exactly square Pluto through mid- May. That means every time the Moon or the Ascendant move through 14 Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn the entire configuration is re-activated, like aftershocks of an earthquake. April 26-27 (Moon in Aries) and May 3-4 (Moon in Cancer) features the Moon setting things off. Every day the squares and oppositions are on the angles not long before sunrise, before noon, before sunset, and before midnight local time.
Then we still have to deal with Mars retrograde in Libra. It made an opposition to Uranus in late December, and then squared Pluto and Jupiter through mid-January just as Jupiter began it’s very long term opposition to Pluto and square to Uranus. We’ve really been dealing with a lot of friction for many months, whether we’ve noticed it or not.
Now Mars has retrograded back through mid-Libra, and is moving very slowly from retrograde to direct, transiting between 14 and 10 Libra through mid-June. As it is well past the opposition with the Sun, it has begun gradually to speed up.
It will still be retrograde through 6:31 pm PDT May 19, 2:31 am BST, when it goes stationary direct at 10 Libra. This entire Mars in Libra period has required an extraordinary effort in moderation, balance, and “right proportion” of response. In this battle, in my experience it’s better to bat down the opponent’s thrust than to counter. Feeding the friction is definitely NOT the way to play this Grand Cross!
And because it will go direct at 10 Libra (which I’ll write more about as it gets closer), it will be in square to Pluto through late June, and in opposition to Uranus until early July. While these involve other degrees than those made “hot” by the current Great Fracturing, they’re still volatile aspects that involve the exact energies we’ve been dealing with for months.
Remember too that we still have Venus finishing the inner planet aspect sequence at this time. Venus will opposed Mars from May 2 to May 12, will square Pluto at 14 Aries/Cap on May 13, 14, and 15, when it conjuncts Uranus at 15 Aries. Besides May 3-4, the times when the Moon will conjunct, square, and/or oppose the Cardinal Cross planets are May 11-12, 17-18, 23-25, and May 30-31.
So be alert to changing conditions, and remember that even if you haven’t been personally affected (and you were if you come to this site!), others around you also have gone through their own version of some things fracturing. Now it’s time to sweep away the debris, and move forward! We have a Water trine to catch, with Earth trines thrown in for good grounding!!

my moon at 14Libra 12th house is revealing itself as safe and compassionate, thus passion flowing naturally even better than I had hoped and I have had some tough confrontations from left field as well as some brilliant signs too,
I do feel I am adjusting to a new balance, with faith, sharing the hope and joy, with love. Namaste and Blessings.

My uranus at 12 libra tenth house ... yes my old(worn out) career is up in the air (redundancy looming) .... some new work that I feel more passionate about (and self employ basis) is on horizon but nothing finalized yet. So I am at a crossroads and just have to see how things pan out. All I can do is surrender wait and have faith.

Robert, with the eye of the hurricane behind us, will the 6th and 7th (final) squares of Uranus-Pluto be gentler?
