Today through June 4, Jupiter occupies 21 Cancer, the same degree it went stationary retrograde in November 2013. It’s now done traversing its “shadow zone” and begins its move toward its July 16th entry into Leo. So just what have we learned since last October?
To address what might seem an inconsistency, October 20 was the first entry of Jupiter into 21 Cancer, so even though it took two more weeks to go stationary, we measure the lessons from Oct 20, 2013. 21 Cancer is integrative on the emotional, social, and cultural level. It has expanded our sense of what we do and do not care about, and who we do and do not feel connected with.
All of us have been through forms of personality integration through our interactions with others, as well as our society and culture, seeing who and what feeds us and what doesn’t. Some have found an increased sense of security in knowing who and what they can trust, as well as who and what they can’t.
As I wrote last November, Jupiter stationary retrograde at 21 Cancer promises many “a supreme realization of a life ambition.” It’s been a time of questioning what success would look like, as well as “the price of success.” Jones says this degree symbolizes “an inevitable culmination for individual opportunity, and of an enduring contribution of skill and talent to whatever may entertain the soul’s recurrent and constant rediscovery of itself.” This has dominated our Jupiter-ruled affairs since last October.
Jones continues, “here the popularization of human values becomes a creative encouragement,” where we can lose ourselves for the moment and “live vicariously in what (we) cannot yet establish for (ourselves). Perfection is sought as a certainty of self-continuance.” He offers is the keyword EXCELLENCE, and says when operating positively, “the degree is an overflowing richness of self through its full command of its own deep and genuine potentials.”
We we’ve had these themes presented where we’ve learned greater feeling-truths and awarenesses in the house where we have the sign of Cancer. Jupiter first entered its “shadow zone” between 11-21 Cancer in early August, and retraced them from November through February. Then it went direct, and moved through that degree span from early March to now.
In the process we’ve all had personality integration opportunities via Jupiterian people and circumstances, and found a new sense of humor or irony beginning March that we can use during this Jupiter direct span from then through November 2014. So take a deep breath, smile at the passing soft parade inside the gold mine, since from here we move into the future. We all now know what success might look like in some realm where Jupiter has blessed us.

Worth repeating: "So take a deep breath, smile at the passing soft parade inside the gold mine, since from here we move into the future."
Thanks so much for this; see you there!

For me, I had to perform a deep "let-go" and release on October 20th. Something I really wanted and was quite attached to was denied to me and I had to exhale from the heart and try to embrace the alternative (that someone else would receive the experience I wanted so badly to participate in and have). With precision, May 30 brought the issue under discussion once again. It definitely requires that a friend of mine express his individuality in a way that goes against the grain and relinquishes many conditioned habits. I'm just staying present and doing what I can to affirm my own worth since it isn't clear what may happen.
