This initiating, self-gathering, expansive and organizing "Super" Full Moon at 21 Cancer-Capricorn helps us move toward new successes and new ways of cooperating with others. While a Cardinal T-square storm is prominent again, we can now use our “feeling-knowing” we’ve been developing since last Summer to see why things have gone the way they have since last October.
Important Chart Factors
The various parts of our lives that fractured during the Grand Crosses and T-squares in play between December 2013 and May 2014 are now done. We’ve learned how to keep our balance and moderate our responses in the midst of very unstable conditions. Regarding what we’ve lost, as I told you during the Great Fracturing of April, at some point, when we’re sailing to the new world, we must lose sight of the old lands and accept the wisdom of the course we’re already on.
Between the death of the old and the beginning of the new, we must spend some “down time,” whether in the underworld of our existence, or in solitude, going deep to experience whatever that death or ending was about. That is the value of Scorpio. There is deep wisdom in finding our magnetic root with the source of life if we are to live a deeper, more fulfilled existence.
Many are finding a new stability, structure, or new sense of permanence via Saturn experiences and lessons wherever they have Scorpio in their chart. However, others are being forced to confront various life voids, and learning to “hold the empty space” to get a better sense of the limits and possibilities of their magnetism.
One interesting thing about this period where the seed of the recent New Moon in Cancer feeding our new lives and efforts will come to fruition via this Full Moon is that we’re actually on the threshold of a very exciting adventure once Jupiter enters Leo. That will lead us to a wild ride, since it will biseptile Saturn just before it triseptiles both Pluto and Neptune, setting the Grand Irrationality into full effect! I’ll explain more in the near future.
Because of Jupiter in Cancer making Water trines to Neptune and Saturn throughout this past year, we’ve all had an enormous capacity to experience life more joyfully and playfully while we are educated in moving through deep feelings with a sense of what’s being born. This has been a call to a joyous life renewal, the birth of a new way of learning or teaching through a more natural playfulness, or seeing the great Leela or play of Life itself so we can remember how our Eternal Self views various life dramas. Now Neptune has hit its retrograde station, it’s time to hear the call of renewal!
Jupiter at 30 Cancer finishes its year in that sign. This 2 week period will help us understand what of the past we value and venerate and want to bring with us into the new creativity and spontaneity of Jupiter in Leo. This is the end of the end of Jupiter teaching us via the emotions, and the beginning of Jupiter teaching us through the Fixed Heart Fire of Leo.
Since last Summer we’ve felt what nourishes us and what doesn’t, and learned a new emotional intelligence to help us flow through and past endings, voids, and deep feelings. These gave us a feeling-knowing of new ways to take care of ourselves and others.
Last Winter we went deeper into the flow of our new “feeling-knowing” via Jupiter and Saturn. We’ve learned not to clutch as we’ve moved into deeper ways of experiencing life, power, loss, and magnetism. Since March, Jupiter has assisted our Higher Self to see the humor or irony in situations, as we begin to pick up the pace in finding “success.” This Full Moon will help us “see the light” regarding what we believe “success” would look like.
Due to this Lunation, we power up an active process of personality integration illuminating what Jupiter has taught us since last October via the affairs of the house where we have late Cancer. We’re now done with some critical developments set into motion at the recent Solar Eclipse at 9 Taurus, and have been shown ways to happiness despite outer conditions.
This is a time to be completely honest with ourselves as we continue our deep transformation from feelings to inspiration, and from sensitivity to spontaneous and natural creative expression. Be grateful for what brought you to this point, and get ready to embrace the heart love of Jupiter in Leo!
Major Aspects and Configurations
The only septile series aspect in play is Jupiter biseptile Uranus, no small thing! The last time these two danced in this “destiny producing” aspect was mid-October through early December 2012 when Jupiter went retrograde at 21 Cancer and Uranus was at 9-10 Aries. This biseptile is from 30 Cancer to 17 Aries.
Jupiter is the expansive principle that liberates us into greater life adventures. Uranus is the Divine Intelligence that keeps us honest, fresh, and original, while removing all that is a hindrance to the expression of our unique individuality. Cancer is where we feel, Aries is where we act.
This biseptile is a critical fork in the road in our process of individualization, and is a global influence. So if you’re confronted with some strange situation that makes no sense, don’t take it personally.
The biseptile shows as the externalization of something forcing a choice or resulting from a choice resulting from a consequence. This one cuts from late Cancer to mid-Aries, activating those parts of our charts. Hot zones are around 15-19 Aries, 7-11 Gemini, 28 Cancer-2 Leo, 19-23 Virgo, 11-15 Scorpio, 2-6 Capricorn, and 23-27 Aquarius. If you have a planet or angle in these zones, expect important ideas or signals forcing action wherever Jupiter impacts your chart!
The Cardinal T-square is made by Mars at 24 Libra conjunct the North Node at 25 Libra being squared by the Moon at 21 Capricorn and Sun at 21 Cancer. This will help us grow quickly in how we use Mars in Libra energy and those who have learned those skills since last December will find they now have a new heart strength via Libra traits.
We grow via the North Node, and show what we know via the South Node. This T-square challenges us not to get aggravated when balanced moderate action would work just fine. Even if you’re confronted with a power play, or some irritating person or situation, just do what you have to do to keep your energy focused and not get deflected or annoyed by whatever is going on.
This will most affect those with planets or angles between 19-26 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. This will help us generate power through direct action, and through direct action we shall receive concentrated doses of spiritual energy which will shape our minds and allow us a technique to focus our potency to move toward our potential.
Another aspect configuration in play is the Lunation makes a semisquare and sesquisquare to Neptune, requiring clarity on our part about what roles we are and are not playing, and seeing the future clearly within the vision of a life renewal. Basically, it’s time to get to work! Don’t look to others to show you what to do, since you already know what to do and now it’s time to dance the dance without someone holding you up so you don’t fall. You may find yourself performing better than you thought!
We also find Mercury sesquisquare Saturn, Venus trine Mars, decile Jupiter, and biquintile Saturn, the wide Mars square Jupiter, Jupiter biquintile Neptune, Saturn quincunx Uranus and tredecile Neptune, and Uranus novile Neptune. The sesquisquares will no doubt bring an element of interactive aggravation that spurs us to act, while the biquintiles will bring special interactive conditions where our gifts can join with others’ gifts to create unique blends of talents and gifts.
The decile, tredecile, and biquintiles involving Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune create a remarkable zone of specialization, creativity, and unique interactions. These zones are where magic can happen, so stay alert to opportunities to do your thing in your way with others that will be unique experiences.
Because some of the aspects making these spans are wide, some will be in play before or after the points when things are precisely focused. Still, if you have a planet or angle in these zones, high specialization and unique experiences are in the air these next two weeks! They are approximately 4-10 Pisces-Virgo, 10-16 Aries-Libra, 16-22 Taurus-Scorpio, 22-28 Gemini-Sagittarius, and 28 Cancer- 3 Leo.
Venus trine Mars is exceptionally favorable, since Venus is the dispositor of Mars and in favorable Gemini. This will bring understanding, harmonization, and stabilization to those planetary functions we have around 21-26 Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. We should have some very pleasant interactions these next two weeks!
This is the second Lunation with Saturn quincunx Uranus. This will dominate the Summer. Hard adjustments, corrections, sacrifices, and major league productivity are promised by this configuration. Break up old complexes, and allow your vitality to create new ideas, share new ideas, and be receptive to new ideas. A playful flexibility might just be the key to this period of time!
Mars continues to move forward at the end of its very long stay in Libra. We’ve learned how not to get aggravated, see newer, more moderate or elegant ways of self-expression, and had to become conscious peacemakers. All have been challenged to see they are as surrounded by life and love as a fish by water. All have been walking amidst “brightening influences,” whether they knew it or not.
This is the final exam of how we’ve been working on our connectedness since late 2009. Ultimately the Mars retrograde in Libra period from late February through late May helped us refine our Mars function through a solid understanding of “right proportion” or “right perspective,” or perhaps show us the way toward a fair, elegant, refined, or balanced way of doing things.
I touched on the importance of Saturn in part one of this Full Moon series. There may be a need to see loss and death in terms of the power it provides us to regenerate, and many will come to a deeper understanding of the permanent spiritual factors in their existence, as well as a deeper courage that will never desert them.
While the Grand Irrationality is not in play in this chart, it will still be triggered by transits numerous times during the time this Full Moon is prominent. The Grand Irrationality in play these past 20 years has affected various generations at different times, and everyone has been touched at some point in huge ways.
Spirit walks with this configuration, as well as any major septile series aspect between the planets. The choices we make as a result of these non-rational aspects show us our “direction of destiny,” and determines if the Spirit will grow stronger and closer with you, or if you will move in directions away from Spirit. Given that most of this community is intentionally trying to live in harmony with Life, Nature, and each other, chances are that whatever you – yes, YOU the reader – are confronting will show you a deeper, richer, more powerful Spiritual life. Which is a good thing.
So Just What Was the New Moon Theme for this Period?
Remember that the qualities of the Full Moon express whatever new directions we were shown at the previous New Moon. You will recall it initiated a period of the energy of the past giving way to feeding the future. It was a transformational New Moon, with an emphasis on learning or demonstrating gratitude for something or someone.
”....intuitive hunches should prove to be spot on, especially regarding losses, magnetism, and regeneration or reclamation possibilities. Those who can quiet their minds may find a higher inspiration that helps them see the play of invisible forces at work and understand how to move into a more advanced state of Being. Hear the call to renewal that’s knocking on the doors of your Soul, and many important lessons set into play in early 2011 will become very clear in terms of what and why certain consequences came down the way they did.”
The New Moon influence now coming to surface at this Full Moon moves the fragments of the past into new forms of life, with remarkable opportunities for self-transcendence. Just watch out for self-serving people, control freaks, egomaniacs who put their needs ahead of everything else, and people that are out of balance. This Lunation begins a process of retiring with dignity from useless wheel spinning, and much will be clear by the end of October.
We’ve been checking out the archetypes being shown right now. We are learning how to get to the core of things behind appearances, and not get turned around by people who are fundamentally antagonistic or quarrelsome behind a cloaked veneer. We’re also learning to have a sense of humor as you explore the depth feelings being generated at this time, and pay attention to details as we move into new forms of self-discipline and training.
So we’re moving out of old ways of living into new dedications, and much that’s been unclear should be fairly clear by late July. We are finding confidence in the middle of chaos, with many moving in pioneering new directions, for good or ill. Those are the ones who are “tearing themselves away from the known and familiar, gambling on a great dream.”
For the rest of this year, Saturn continues to put a focus on eliminating stagnant feelings and responses, finding appropriate boundaries and a sense of responsibility for our magnetism as we continue to shed various “skins of personality.” This Full Moon shows us how to cooperate in some collective exercise to make our sense of “success” real.
If you want to know more about the themes of the New Moon that is coming to fruition over the next 2 weeks, please go back to part 1 of this Full Moon series where you will find links to those New Moon articles. They will help you to a more in-depth analysis of what this Full Moon period is about.
Other Factors of Note
This is the fifth Full Moon with the North Node in Libra. When the North Node was in Scorpio between September 2012 and February 2014 we went through a long wave process of learning to “shed skins,” and let go of echoes of memories of perceptions by taking a new look at what we used to believe. Factoring in the November 2013 Scorpio Solar Eclipse, we’ve been in the heart of learning “gain through loss,” so that we could have faith, go deeper, and receive impressions from higher planes.
The Saturn in Scorpio focus since October 2012 has helped us intensify our striving in structured ways so we can unveil the life Mystery we’ve been chasing for quite a while. This has anchored a deeper emotional stability and magnetism in those who have done the hard work of making Saturn your friend. Saturn has also taught us to see a) how we have shifted our magnetism on relationships since then, and/or b) how we need to find a new view or way of understanding the losses and eliminations of the past we’ve been through. Now we’re flowing into a long wave period of finding the right focus to bring forth a higher way to be with others.
So What is a “Splay Pattern” and how does it work?
This month is fairly spread out in terms of planets in signs, since the 10 planets occupy 7 signs and are fairly spread out around the zodiacal wheel. So we’ve left the “See Saw” previously defined by planets in Aries, Taurus, and Cancer opposed by planets in Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn, and now are living within another pattern. The Aries/Libra opposition is now separating, there are no planets in Taurus, and Jupiter is well past its long term opposition to Pluto. In other words, the planets are all over the map!
This type of spread, with all the planets in odd angles to each other with differing distributions among the signs, creates a “Splay” Jones Pattern. As Marc Jones put it, “the arrangement is neither even nor symmetrical,” revealing “strong and sharp aggregations of the planets at irregular points.”
Dr. Jones states “This suggests highly individual or purposeful emphases in the life, where the temperament juts out into experiences according to its own very special tastes.” This pattern “makes its own anchorage in existence,” and has a quality of “rugged resistance to pigeonholing, either in the near conventional compartments of nature, or in the idea-pockets of associates.”
He goes on to state this pattern gives a “persistent emphasis on individuality,” and the “spokelike emphases of the planetary groupings” are random, but have a “tripod” footing and approach to life circumstances. He says this pattern “reveals a very intensive personality who cannot be limited to any single steady point of application.” This temperament is “particular and impersonal in its interests,” rather than “universal-impersonal” or “particular-personal.”
This implies that affairs will be diversely spread out, some will not mesh well with others, and there will be a “hub and spoke" quality to what happens these next 4 weeks. This spread shows a wide diversity of things going on that promotes individuality.
Element Balance
Of the traditional 10 planets, there are 4 planets in Water signs, 1 in Fire, 2 in Earth, and 3 in Air. This indicates a huge emphasis on feelings and experiencing life, with a lesser emphasis on thinking, relationships, and interactivity. The Moon in Capricorn will bring more practicality to focus, and this will be the last Lunation short on inspiration, since Jupiter will be in Leo at the next New Moon.
Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, there will be great feelings combined with a lot of interactions that should make for experiences that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives! Just keep in mind that Air plus Water could be very moveable and not very stable, with emotions high as things go many directions simultaneously.
More on how Uranus Square Pluto Is Ramping Up Radical Energies!
As I’ve mentioned off and on over the past 3+ years, we’re all learning to manage the “out of control” energies of Uranus square Pluto. They are certainly front and center at this exact point in history!
’ve discussed this aspect at length over quite a few articles in the archives. Please use the site google box to find out more about this years’ long disruptive revolutionary influence. Welcome to the 21st century of upheaval, transformation, and titanic collisions between a new world being born and an old age that’s digging in even as it’s dying.
That square represents the ongoing revolution of our times, with innovations and pioneering energies in conflict with restrictive and controlling power structures. We’ll be dealing with this for a few years, and it promises to make this year and next very “electric and eclectic,” moving the world through a revolution unlike any seen since the 1960s!!
Uranus is now moving through a span of degrees active between 2013 and 2015, and in this chart it’s on a degree of retiring with dignity from dramas we don’t need. This is the first step in knowing what we do not have to be involved in as we learn to focus our potency. Due to the quincunx to Saturn, some of what we’re withdrawing from entails the sacrifice of old desires, attachments, and old limiting magnetism, but we can break into new discoveries and newer, better functioning by what gets adjusted. Expect to withdraw from some things, maintaining your dignity, while trusting “the God Within” to lead you to what your wisdom knows is true.
As usual, beware of those who are impatient, since explosiveness is in the air due to the Sun and Moon square Mars. Again, the T-square with Mars as the driver throws the void into Aries, which can be a very volatile and impulsive sign. That’s why a balanced Mars expression is the way to go! And as I’ve introduced before, the time when Mars has been retrograde and part of the squares and crosses has assisted us to moderate the extreme responses of Uranus square Pluto, coupled with Jupiter’s very benign influence in Cancer.
Pluto has now finished its time teaching us harmlessness, kindness, and magnetism that brings forth a more gentle set of interactions through the deeper transformations going on in our lives. This Lunation shows us another way of embracing the feelings and experiences of that emergent transformational role we accepted 2009-2010. Keep purifying yourself in every way, since the less sludge we carry forward the lighter and freer we’ll feel.
We have now been guided through deep experiences that taught us how to get beyond fear, see things from the past differently, and find relief through expressing the Higher Self that’s been “cut and polished” in past months. As with the last Christ Fest Full Moon chart, Pluto occupies a degree challenging us to self-transcendence, to open to our Divine Transformational Power, and move into a greater authorship. This is the next step in learning “a valid historical perspective,” where we separate out the core principles from the events surrounding them.
As we learn to master Uranus square Pluto, we will be able to see the true causes of any social disorder, constructive versus destructive justifications and motives, and see where mistrust and mischief-making originate. This allows us to grow into a greater power when we’re confronted by old Pluto roles, coercions, and heavy-handed corrosive behavior. We can use the square between Uranus and Pluto in two big ways, both now and into the future.
We can exercise good Pluto function to put the brakes on negative Uranian manifestations, and good Uranus function to put the brakes on negative Pluto manifestations. Look to the harmonizing aspects to each to show which is building and which one is the release point for those energies. In this chart, Uranus is specializing many things in everyone’s lives, so go with the new rather than the established.
What's the proper sequence at present of deciding, feeling, and thinking, and an Overview of the Lunation
This Full Moon will help us get some things “unstuck,” finding new rhythms of response at the threshold of a new way of life. This will help us integrate recent information and discoveries into our Higher Self, with new standards, new ideals, new cares, and new adventures coming soon.
As I’ve told you the past two months, whether we know it or not, we’ve all graduated into “a new realm of being.” Continue to find a deeper faith in your individual Self and process as you release elements of your life that no longer suit your magnetic needs.
As a process of moving through events, we’re all going to be inclined to feel our way into ideas, perceptions, view, and interactions. Once we’ve gotten a new idea, vision, or understanding, then make a decision and act on it! Try not to overplan too far into the future. Take your feeling-knowing one step at a time, and keep things in balanced motion, even if they go all over the place at times.
Once we’ve made a decision and acted on it, then a new feeling will naturally arise showing the next thing to learn about, communicate, or understand. So feel, flow, and experience, since these will lead you to ideas and views that will in turn lead to the next decision.
With Mercury leading the Sun, this Lunation will show us a new standard to aspire to, or demonstrate to our world. We continue to walk on out of old ways into new lives, and the strong Gemini-Cancer emphasis is helping us adapt and be more flexible in approaching this aftermath of the recent time of fracturing as we continue to synthesize “feeling-knowing” with “mental-knowing” at the threshold of a new life era.
Because of Saturn’s power in Scorpio, we continue to eliminate all we no longer want to carry in our emotional field. While Mars is in Libra, we’ve been finding a newer, more moderate, gracious, or elegant way of dealing with the rhythm of elimination and regeneration. We now can look back at the emotional intelligence and “feeling-knowing” we’ve acquired since Summer 2013, and see how a major set of lessons are complete.
While it may feel like there’s been a hard edge to circumstances in recent weeks and months, these choices have been months in the making. We now have been shown the way to a higher Life through all that has fractured and all the abrupt changes. Many life voids have been created and/or filled, offering us new perspectives on what to retire from so a new potential can be embraced at this time.
This Full Moon helps us feel “successful” in some way, and many should receive special gifts and opportunities perfect for what we’ve been developing up to now. Hear the call to renewal that requires entrance into unknown zones of feeling and faith. And remember, this is only the first of the three "Super Full Moons" happening this Summer, and we're told the next one will be even bigger!
For your contemplation, a final meditation I offer each month at the end of our Full Moon journey of exploration.
We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.
All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.
If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.
Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.

Robert, they say one of the secrets to success is to "over deliver". Unbelievable! I can say, you never cease to amaze me with the depth you provide all of us.

I acknowledge my understandings differ and understand if this post is not posted. Yet I respectfully offer as a female, that I have learned, the hard way, that regardless of what us human beings as a whole have chosen to think is acceptable or not, the "mother nature" within us all just like the "mother nature " of the planet itself, due to our evolved level as a species, otherwise known as the "emotional mind" deserves equal expression in the earth world. One either chooses to feel what one genuinely feels even if not good and allow it to flow/be expressed privately (cancer) so it may be healed and not hurt ourselves or another, or it will flow forth without warning publicly (capricorn). Mental conscious mind over emotional matter, is a temporary resource to allow this to be done privately, in order for the clean/clear focused thought is genuinely possible, to genuinely make it so, in reality.
There is no logical reason in emotions, you feel what you feel and if not good, they arent released by just thinking it and "her" dis ease will be expressed one way or another. I offer this simply with compassion and hope to serve, as intended. Namaste.

Robert, what makes a super moon?

Brilliant! A huge scope of analysis and ideas that brings us back to ponder upon our personal evolution and how it is linked to the collective changing process. We are living interesting times and full of blessing and light. The need to be open to what has recently emerged and is unfolding is our choice.
That said, I had to laugh as I read and recognised in my own experience a lot of what you have posted. Truth can bring a smile and even spark spontaneous laughter!
Blessings be to all.

Just adding as support to your statement about spirit walking with us more now, I have had so many communications from clients and friends who are suddenly seeing silver or blue "sparkles", orbs and shimmering outlines which has taken them by surprise, which is so cool as they are actually enjoying it rather than fearing it. It seems those born with abilities like mine may become less and less as the need will no longer be there once most are utilising their own. So wonderfully heartwarming and encouraging, so felt it good to share :)
