Today, Saturday Sept 27, 3:39 pm PDT, 11:39 pm BST, Mercury will enter Scorpio. We’ll see a pronounced “pre-retrograde” effect over this next week.
It’s already been slowing down, and in its “shadow zone” for just over two weeks. Now that it’s in Scorpio, we’ll begin to feel the Scorpio retrograde effect, since it will go stationary retrograde at 3 Scorpio on Oct 4, 10:02 am PDT, 6:02 pm BST.
I’ll compose more on this in the very near future, but for now, take note of the shift in energy between Mercury in Libra (in effect since Sept 1) and the intensification that occurs when Mercury, the Guide of Souls, enters the Fixed Water of Scorpio. And though it’s recently completed quintiles to Jupiter and Pluto, because it’s slowing down, it will continue to make those quintiles active for quite a while to come, so take advantage of the gifts and unique conditions these aspects promise!
So the ruler of our planets and houses involving Gemini and Virgo is about to go from Air to Water, from initiating to stabilizing, and from looking forward to looking back and revisiting whatever presented itself for consideration in the second half of September. Get ready to take a new look at some things in your past, as a prelude to feeling a greater social cooperation and connection.
I’ll be back soon with more on the coming Mercury retrograde in Scorpio and Libra after I get our Saturday Night Attitude dance posted. And I trust you’re enjoying this Equinox/New Moon in Libra energy we’ve been treated to the past few days!
