Yes, at long last my pioneering work A New Look At Mercury Retrograde is now available on Amazon as a paperback, and on Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook as an ebook! This new expanded 2nd edition has been completely rewritten with a lot of new and updated material that will be useful to professional astrologers as well as those who simply want to know more about Mercury Retrograde and what these recurring periods might hold for them!
The paperback and ebook editions are available through Amazon. You can order either at this link: A New Look at Mercury Retrograde. On Barnes and Noble’s Nook, you can find it at this link: A New Look At Mercury Retrograde.
The sections on Mercury in the signs and houses, and how Mercury retrograde affects each sign, have been rewritten and expanded, as well as what the entire Mercury Retrograde phenomenon is about. Even if you don’t have extensive knowledge of astrology, you’ll be able to use these sections as references for what to expect and how you might be affected in all future Mercury retrograde periods. This book will help you understand what’s in play during every Mercury retrograde period, regardless of what signs or houses in your chart are affected by Mercury retrograde.
I also found many more famous people with Mercury retrograde, and added the specific birthday and year for every celebrity to aid researchers, while keeping the Mercury retrograde sign position. I removed those listed in the 1st edition who I found did not actually have Mercury retrograde due to corrections in their birth data that have been made available since I first wrote the work.
As the 1st edition was published in 1997, I’ve also updated the chapter on Mercury retrograde events throughout history to make it current to mid-2014. As with the 1st edition, at the end of the work I included a table showing Mercury retrograde periods through 2035, and which signs they go retrograde and direct in.
The book is $14.95, and the ebook is priced at USD 5.99, making it affordable for anyone who wants this timeless resource. It’ll be useful as a reference during every Mercury retrograde period for years to come, so by all means check out Amazon kindle or B&N’s Nook and download a copy to your tablet, mobile device, or computer!

Hi Chickie - Yes, this is somewhat of a redemptive victory for me! Weiser's editors messed with the first edition and it wound up far inferior to what I originally submitted. This 2nd edition includes all the information the original editors insisted get chopped, and has been rewritten so it's easier to understand exactly what's being said. I suppose that's one advantage to waiting 17 years to republish it, since I have no doubt I'm a better writer now than I was then!
This book was written so it would be as useful in 2035 as it was in 1997. At some point I may do a limited run of softbound copies just for posterity's sake, but really, it's a blessing it's done, and a much improved work! Definitely a strange journey that somehow turned out just fine despite some crazy stuff early on, entirely the karma of the publisher. And it clearly shows the future of publishing, since it's a great way to offer information instantaneously around the world without layers of people getting between the author and the reader.

Hello,
Please forgive the long post. I have been following your writing for a while now. Recently I had a meditation where I saw Aesculapius' staff with snakes curling up and with directional signpost-type signs going in directions that did not look orderly. I thought it was a symbol showing me that my thoughts/consciousness is more disordered than helpful, creating my not-as-nice-as-I-would-like relationships with so many different people (or lack thereof). Although I also thought maybe it's because Pluto is so heavy in my chart. But Mercury is definitely a focus. From your articles, I understand that Mercury/the mind--is not necessarily supposed to always be "orderly" in a sense, from the perspective that backwards, forwards, circular motion, etc, is appropriate at appropriate times. Your ebook seems to be primarily about Mercury retrograde. I have no problems during Mercury retrogrades, since I honor them by pulling back, going within more, etc. (I'm not Mercury retrograde). I've gotten so much help from your writing. Would you mind giving insight regarding focusing on the Mercury function in general, especially in relation to right relationships? I am a perpetual ageless wisdom/Bailey student, and I have more Ray 1 than I have previously realized. I'm just now beginning to understand that. Astrology writers talk about the "nastiness" of Plutonian-people energies. That seems to correlate with Ray 1 energies when manifesting unconsciously/negatively. I'm relatively sure I'm a Ray 2 soul, so I'd been focusing more on Ray 2 stuff until now. I'm a Virgo Sun opposite Pisces Rising. Mercury in Leo, Pluto conjunct my Sun, among other things. Thank you so much! VR
