Spiritual Astrology in 2014-2015 - Uranus Stationary Direct at 13 Aries

On Sunday, December 21, a few minutes before the Solstice, Uranus goes direct at 13 Aries. This definitively launches a much larger new era, so embrace your spiritual individuality and don't look back!

I'll be composing more about the major changes that are before us in a future article, since as Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto move, so moves the greater Transpersonal Field within which we live and breathe and have our Being. The outer planets show us the larger fields within which we demonstrate our Higher Self as we stand individually and collectively at the threshold of a new era.

Uranus going direct is important since whenever an outer invisible goes retrograde or direct, it's a sea change in the collective consciousness. This larger shift begins 2:45 pm PST December 21, 10:45 pm Greenwich, when Uranus again begins to retrace its steps over ground it's now covering for a third time.

Here's where the Transpersonal Individualizer again moves forward, also moving collective consciousness with it. The first degree of Aries is now again irrevocably burned as a hot spot that will be triggered any time there's a transit to that point.

This point was set as "original future potentiality" when Uranus went stationary retrograde at 13 Aries in July 2013. These energies were renewed and moved into unknown zones in March-April 2014 during the Great Fracturing (more on that in the archives), and now they represent a foundation energy as Uranus again moves forward over the degree span it’s occupied since April.

As Mars has not conjuncted Uranus since March 2013, these new Uranian energies have been pure potential. These new second decan Aries energies will begin to take shape in the world of expression in March 2015 as Venus, Mars, the Sun, and Mercury all roll across 13 Aries, triggering these Uranian energies building since July 2013.

The Sabian Symbol for 13 Aries is “An unsuccessful bomb explosion.” In the original Jones class notes Dane Rudhyar published in The Astrology of Personality, he states this degree is about “intangible fears of nascent selfhood” and “the creative stirring up of a new perspective and a new identity suddenly revealed.”

In The Astrological Mandala,, Rudhyar offers us a somewhat negative interpretation involving “an immature evaluation of the possibility of transforming suddenly the status quo.” He says this degree represents a “conflict between two concept-feelings of order,” where ego is set against some sort of formal order. He states this is “a symbol of immature refusal to conform, in the name of an overidealistic desire for harmony and peace.”

Dr. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, offers a different view. He states this degree “is a symbol of the survival of good through evil intention and effort, and of the infinite capacity of the world to absorb and nullify the destructive acts of man.” He offers this degree is not about the success of evil deeds as much as a need for better actions arising from the deeper authentic Self.

He goes on that this symbol is “an almost complete exemption from the normal penalties for unsocial result of a hapless initiative,” and offers us the keyword IMPETUOUSNESS. He says when operating in a positive way, this symbol is “a dramatic rejection of any accomplishment falling at all short of very deep or hallowed purpose.”

So it would seem that Uranus has “primed the pump” of individualization by showing us all a new identity, as well as any tendencies we may have to be impetuous, impatient, or frustrated at the pace of things. It also implies that wherever we have mid-Aries in our charts has been the life arena where we’ve confronted two different types of order, and had to choose which was obsolete, and what changes were needed. And if we take Dr. Jones’ interpretation then we have to see the good that has survived the evil we’ve encountered the past year and a half, and how we’ve been moved to better actions arising from our deeper authentic Self.

So Uranus is now "on the move," exerting its own powerful pull on the tides of evolution while Pluto prepares to move into unknown Capricorn zones in January and Neptune now moves forward anew over degrees that have awakened many to a life renewal since last Summer. The Awakener is now moving everything in its realm forward, so whatever has emerged since Summer 2013 is now permanently a part of our reality!

We can expect dramatic upheavals and major movements in the world thanks to Uranus' station, and transpersonal long wave shifts in people and nations. There will be manifestations of Divine Power both from individuals and collectivities in creative and original forms, so get ready, since we've all prepared for these individualizing spiritual energies to come forth in many ways these past 18 months.

I have already felt the effect of this unsuccessful bomb explosion with the following rejection of accomplishmets falling short of deep and hallowed purpose. Came for me earlier in summer 2013 at the starting point of the energy. Your words have helped me a great deal in the understanding of where I have come from through it all. Your article is eerily accurate mirroring my experience in a profound way. I am a survivor of a failed terrorist plot and have suffered PTSD as a result of it all. Robert, I thank you for helping me on this journey of mine and helping give me perspective. There have been some big rocks on the road but you have aided me in slowly removing some of them. There is still work to be done but. I feel like perhaps the road will someday finally be clear again and I willbe able to proceed uninhibited. It may not sound like much but, from where I have come from it is pretty monumental. Funny thing, prior to the unsuccessful bomb attempt, I literally ran over a huge boulder with my car, I could not get in other lane due to a car there at that exact moment. I knew the universe was telling me something in a very literal way then. I had no way of knowing what was going to happen but I knew I would meet with a big problem.Boy, the universe is not shy with putting it in your face when it thinks it needs to do so.
