We’re now in the heart of Jupiter quincunx Pluto. It began a couple of weeks ago, and will last through early June. What does this mean?
This is the third and final quincunx between these planets. The first happened from late August through mid-September 2014 from 12 Leo to 12 Capricorn. The second happened between mid-February and late March from 15 Leo to 15 Capricorn. This one occurs from 16 Leo to 16 Capricorn.
As I mentioned in my 2015 Year Overview for all signs, the Jupiter quincunxes to Pluto offer adjustments and sacrifices. The first one helped us learn how to prove ourselves as part of a larger field of activity, and gave us the ability to leave some ghosts of the past behind. The second one gave us a form of “rehearsal” where appearances had to be set aside when real necessities arose. That period we had to show care as we “put on the show,” and find those with whom we could swap knowledge and get feedback.
This third quincunx will also bring adjustments and sacrifices, with the focus on the “joy and power of new beginnings” bringing forth productivity in forms of new inspiration, deep and vibrant realizations, and our Soul asserting itself to be recognized by our ego. This one will help us target the “needs of our inner being.”
If you have planets or angles near 16 Gemini or 16 Pisces, you will have a “Finger of God,” or “Yod” configuration. This is an “expansion through sacrifice” pattern, with some things being squeezed out of the life through a productive spiritual focus and expression through the “nozzle” planet.
Those with something occupying 16 Gemini will have Pluto as the nozzle, so expect radical purification and/or transformation where you have Capricorn in your chart. Those with something occupying 16 Pisces will have Jupiter as the nozzle, so expect radical expansions and visions of a greater reality or adventure. You will definitely know “the joy and power of new beginnings.”
In any case, remember that transit to transit aspects impact us all, whether we have something in the hot zones or not. This is a waning quincunx, so Jupiter is now on the far side of its long cycle with Pluto. In a few weeks it will be biquintile and then sesquisquare Pluto on its way to making the trine later this Autumn.
I’ve experienced the quincunx as a “two steps forward, one to the side” type of energy, kind of like the Knight in chess. The special quality of the Knight is that it can jump over obstacles, and come at something from a different angle of approach. So if you’re confronting something, it may be that you need to adjust your angle of approach, and let go of some considerations to get to where you need to be.
With a quincunx, something’s got to give. So if you have to make some adjustments and sacrifices over the next few weeks, just remember you’re not alone. We’re ALL going to be dealing with this energy.
(I'm posting this with mid-Gemini rising, thus creating a Yod, or Finger of God. The Moon will be in mid-Pisces on May 12, and in mid-Gemini May 19. Each of these times will also create a Finger of God with Jupiter and Pluto. Perhaps these events will give you something valuable about that configuration.)

To jon reddish,
One thing I have learned--in part from Robert--is that you cannot miss your destiny. Life will spin you in many ways, but you will ultimately, ALWAYS be where you need to be. The tools you have are awareness, trust and wonder.
Did I get that right Sai Robert?

Hmmm... this one is on my solar return POF. Will need to meditate on this.

Thank you for the picture of the Knight move Robert. I had been feeling like a pawn. Changing the image of the pieces and noting the move has made a tremendous difference to the way I view my situation. Thank you so much!
