Today we’ll take a brief look at why some things related to a celestial event are triggered long after that event happens.
This is in response to something I posted about Venus retrograde. You will recall it went stationary retrograde at 1 Virgo, square Saturn at the end of Scorpio. Since then it was retrograded back into mid-Leo, and is no longer forming a square to Saturn (though it will when it finally makes it back to Virgo and Saturn is in Sagittarius.)
A planet going stationary retrograde or direct makes that degree a “hot spot” that gets triggered each time another planet moves across that degree. However, there are other things that get triggered as well. In this case, the Venus stationary RX square to Saturn gets brought back into play with each subsequent transit to late Leo, since it squares the point Saturn occupied when Venus made the initial square.
That means the Sun square Saturn that will be exact on August 20-21-22-23 will vitalize and power up elements of the Venus square Saturn, even though that Venus square hasn’t been active in two weeks. Then when the Sun enters Virgo on August 23 at 3:38 am PDT, 11:38 am BST, it will vitalize and power up whatever promise was held by Venus going SRX at 1 Virgo.
We will continue to see effects related to the Venus square Saturn until Venus makes its final pass through late Leo in early October, conjuncting its SRX degree, after which it leaves its shadow zone. Of special importance is the period between September 21-26 when Mars occupies 29-30 Leo and 1 Virgo (it enters Virgo on Sept 24, 7:18 pm PDT, Sept 25 3:18 am BST). During that time Mars will trigger the Venus square Saturn in late Leo effect, as well as the Sun square Saturn effect.
On a related note, we had Venus conjunct Jupiter at 22 Leo at the Full Moon of July 1, and Venus RX conjunct Jupiter at 29 Leo on August 4-5. Both of those conjunction degrees have been and will be triggered by subsequent transits. That means the Sun triggered the first conjunction about a week ago, and is triggering the second conjunction right now.
These points will be triggered again when Mars crosses those degrees, as well as when the Moon crosses those degrees on September 10-11, just before the coming 21 Virgo Solar Eclipse at 11:41 pm PDT Sept 12, 7:41 am BST Sept 13. That will bring new events related to the past conjunctions.
On a final note, this concept of “time triggers” is not limited to stationary points and prior conjunction points between planets. They are most obvious when we look at past Solar Eclipses, since those celestial events set things into motion for dozens of months after the event.
Also, the ancients believed that an event can happen, but we don’t see concrete movement around those events until Mars transits those points. This implies that it could be as long as 2 years before we see manifestations of events that came down in the past.
So I hope that your curiosity is piqued by what you’ve just read, and you’ll take a new look at where previous conjunctions, stationary points, and Eclipse points fell in your chart, and then look at subsequent transits to see how those may have manifested long after the event. Enjoy following the trail of breadcrumbs through the woods…..

What's interesting to me is Mars going forward and Venus retro in Leo and around Aug 29 (Katrina) the 2 meet on my Leo Mercury..... and the full moon hits my Jupiter in Pisces 6 degrees.......hmmmmmmmm...and Im mad at myself that my manuscript is not complete!

I didn't know about the fact you comment about mars. Gonna see how it works personally since there are questions about events timing I didn't catch for sure. Does it for everything, I mean, conjunctions, squares, new moons, eclipses ? It makes sense so mars = action/motion

What an interesting post. So, looking to September, the Sep 13 New Moon is a partial eclipse and also finds Mars at the degree of the prior retrograde Venus-Sun conjunction. And the Sep 28 Full Moon is a total eclipse with Venus direct at that retro Venus-Sun conj point. So in this case, I get that transiting Mars/Venus triggers the retro Venus-Sun conj. But then does that create a connection between the September eclipses and the prior retro Venus-Sun conjunction?
