This Lunation ushers in a time of productivity and stabilization despite headwinds, as well as major forks in the road in several areas of our charts, and therefore our lives. There is a greater confusion and/or tension in the atmosphere, but all in all those who maintain balance, both in their inner approach to things and their outer approach to what shows up, will find their lives transformed favorably.
Important Chart Factors
This Full Moon is where we can get a lot accomplished as we open to a new Jupiterian contact with Divine Mother energy and stand on the threshold of new initiative and “the joy and power of new beginnings.” The next two weeks will bring manifestations of our Soul, with innovation and revolution in the air! This period will bring powerful expressions of disciplined heart power, and quicken all of our evolution.
As I told you earlier in this series, of primary importance is that the Mercury, Venus, and the Sun are the primary chain of dispositors that govern all the other planets except the Moon conjunct Neptune which is a spiritual rather than worldly backdrop. Of course, there’s also the mutual reception between Saturn and Pluto on the spiritual level, and being in semisquare, shows why the larger atmosphere has a very hard edge to what’s happening. Compassionate interventions are favored, as is getting a new perspective on what is and how it came to be this way, ending whatever needs ending.
The Lunation builds through the powerful opposition-sextile-trine made with Pluto, generating voids at 7 and 14 Cancer. That implies there are invisible helpers available during the next two weeks that can bring us forms of “unusual good luck,” as well as sign and signals of the Source of all Ageless Wisdom on Earth. Fearlessness and a timeless Truth and Wisdom are opening wherever we have the first half of Cancer in our chart. We should see concrete forms come forth when the Moon fills in this void on September 7.
There are no significant frictional aspects to the Lunation, though the Moon does make important triseptiles to both Mercury and Mars which are in septile. This makes for 3 points of a seven pointed Star pattern, impacting those with planets in any of the 7 zones of influence. Overall this requires a pioneering sense of relatedness with other pioneers in cooperative collective group activities that might make no sense, but are important in the destinies of all involved.
It puts feelings, mind, and action at a critical turning point with each other, and will definitely impact the houses where we have Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio. Those most likely to find themselves at some or another “fork in the road of destiny” where Dharma beckons have planets or angles near 11-15 Leo, 2-6 Libra, 24-28 Scorpio, 15-19 Capricorn, 6-10 Pisces, 28 Aries- 2 Taurus, and 19-23 Gemini.
Of course the big news is Venus retrograde is about to go stationary direct conjunct Mars! Many Venusian things that have slowed down or even gone backward these past few weeks will begin to pick up speed and move forward. Get ready to put on the show! This will be favorable for getting a lot of our life “on the same page,” where there will be a fusion between Venus and Mars moving forward in close conjunction for many weeks to come.
Jupiter is now moving forward briskly, and we’ve hit the beginning of the Jupiter in Virgo year. The long term opposition to Neptune will require that we all focus on the big picture, and find opportunities to expand our practical influence without yielding to drifting or a sense of confusion. As noted in part 2, in this chart Jupiter is exactly conjunct TransPluto, or the planet that I believe symbolizes “Divine Mother” energies. Welcome to the first conjunction of Jupiter with TransPluto of the century! Divine Discrimination rules!
As Venus and Mars are now activating the promise that Jupiter in Leo brought us, keep showing humor, vision, and go for the loving protection of the heart when called upon to express yourselves. This is the power of the expansive heart interacting with others in creative ways, life as art and art as life. Because it’s been set up by Jupiter this past year, we’re been learning the truth of the great wit Wavy Gravy, who once told us that “if you don’t have a sense of humor, it’s not funny!”
Everything Jupiter in Leo has promised has now been seen and experienced in a different light during the Venus retrograde period. Now we prepare to act on those truths and possibilities, so from here we move forward. This will continue to accelerate and take clearer shape as Mars makes its way through the second half of Leo over the next few weeks, so take heart, be courageous, and have a little fun!
Whatever Jupiter in Leo has brought us since Summer 2014 has been in play throughout the entire Summer, and has promised some great loving experiences. As I told you in previous Lunation articles, we’ve had a sequence of events that put the spotlight on 15 Leo.
There was the Moon conjunct Jupiter on that degree in February’s Full Moon, followed by Jupiter on that degree in the March Full Moon. This has “primed the pump” for the Venus station conjunct Mars on that degree in early September. In this Lunation Venus is at 16 Leo, promising us all new beginnings and initiatives by what we release and how we demonstrate our creativity and/or enthusiasm.
Major Aspects and Configurations
As noted previously, we have three points of a 7 pointed Star pattern and an opposition-sextile-trine in play via the Lunation. Other forming aspect of note are Mercury triseptile Neptune, Venus conjunct Mars, biseptile Saturn, and trine Uranus, and the Sun binovile Saturn.
Moving to the outer planets, Mars is trine Uranus, triseptile Neptune (through collection of Light), and extremely close separating quincunx to Pluto. Jupiter is sesquisquare Uranus, opposed Neptune, and widely trine Pluto, Saturn is barely separating semisquare Pluto, Uranus is novile Neptune, and square Pluto.
These show a fundamental stability and harmony of function between Leo and Aries, so all of us with planets in the middle degrees of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should see good forward motion and inspired stability and/or understanding! The Mercury triseptile Neptune pulls together the Moon conjunct Neptune, so the 7 zones of the Star pattern are actually a little wider than I described, and will show as a twin “pulse” of action, once with the Moon in the earlier part of the zones, and later with the Neptune in the later part of the zones.
One interesting “joker in the deck” is Venus biseptile Saturn, which marks a culminative turning point in our final exam of demonstrating Saturn in Scorpio wisdom. This will mark a “fork in the road of destiny” related to what kinds of new beginnings are possible based in how we’ve handled Saturn in Scorpio since last November. Those most affected have planets or angles near 14-18 Leo, 6-10 Libra, 27 Scorpio-1 Sagittarius, 19-23 Capricorn, 10-14 Pisces, 1-5 Taurus, and 23-27 Gemini. Whatever you have in these zones will see Venus/Saturn shifts in big ways!
Though the Grand Irrationality was very active at the last Full Moon, it’s not in direct play in this one, even if it will be highly active for the rest of the year. It will be reinforced each time an inner planet transits any of the 7 hot zones of the Grand Irrationality, and so as the inner planets moved through the 8-14 Leo zone in the recent past, we’ve seen things get weird, heavy, and in a peculiar way, very natural, authentic, spontaneous, and creative!
If you’re new to the site, briefly, the Grand Irrationality in play for about 20 years, and it has affected various generations at different times. Everyone has been touched at some point in huge ways. Spirit walks with this configuration, as well as any major septile series aspect between the planets.
The choices we make as a result of these non-rational aspects show us our “direction of destiny,” and determines if the Spirit will grow stronger and closer with you, or if you will move in directions away from Spirit. Given that most of this community is intentionally trying to live in harmony with Life, Nature, and each other, chances are that whatever you – yes, YOU the reader – are confronting will show you a deeper, richer, more powerful Spiritual life. Which is a good thing.
Other Factors of Note
This is the nineteenth Full Moon with the North Node in Libra. When the North Node was in Scorpio between September 2012 and February 2014 we went through a long wave Scorpio process of learning to “shed skins,” and let go of echoes of memories of perceptions by taking a new look at what we used to believe. Factoring in the November 2013 Scorpio Solar Eclipse, we’ve all been learning “gain through loss,” so that we could have faith, go deeper, and receive impressions from higher planes.
The Saturn in Scorpio focus between October 2012 and December 2014 that we’ve revisited this Summer has helped us intensify our striving in structured ways so we can unveil the life Mystery we’ve been chasing for quite a while. This anchored a deeper emotional stability and magnetism in those who have done the hard work of making Saturn your friend.
During the months of Saturn in Scorpio, we incorporated the old North Node in Scorpio lessons into our ongoing responses to life. Saturn also taught us to see a) how we have shifted our magnetism on relationships since then, and/or b) how we need to find a new view or way of understanding the losses and eliminations of the past we’ve been through.
The North Node is in Libra shows that sign symbolizes our line of greatest development. Therefore, the lessons we learned while Saturn in Libra are being developed at this time.
There are direct connections between our current growth and what Saturn taught us in November 2009, March 2010 and August 2010, since the degree of the North Node in this chart is the same as the degree Saturn occupied in those months. Last month’s NN lessons about “a new day dawning revealing a world utterly transformed” are now being released by Mercury in this chart, while the current NN is at 2 Libra, where we grow through identifying with larger cycles of change and find inspiration in a vaster perspective of the long wave creative process.
Element Balance
Of the traditional 10 planets, there are 3 planets in Fire signs, 3 in Water, 3 in Earth, and 1 in Air. This indicates a balance between Fire (inspiration), Water (feeling), and Earth (practicality). Mercury, though it’s the only planet in an Air sign, is very strong since it is the dispositor of the Sun and Jupiter, so it brings the Air qualities of relatedness and ideas to the illumination and promise indicated by Sun and Jupiter in practical Virgo.
Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, things are more volatile than cool. Still, with so much Fire there is a quickening going on, so rise to the increased tempo!
More on how Uranus Square Pluto Is Ramping Up Radical Energies!
As I’ve mentioned off and on over the past 3+ years, we’re all learning to manage the “out of control” energies of Uranus square Pluto. They are certainly major players in the global collision of ideas at this point in history, and from time to time will be at the forefront of the hard edge of the conflict between control systems and the forces of individualization that are calling everyone to a greater spiritual individuality.
As they are again in a forming square through the end of the year, expect a wild ride from time to time, especially when the inner planets move through Libra and oppose Uranus and square Pluto! September shows Mercury square Pluto most of the month, and the Sun makes the T-square the first half of October, with Mercury making the T in the last 10 days of October. Venus makes the T during the last 10 days of November, and Mars brings it all to a focus of activity in early December! Integrate the friction through productive Cancer energy, and you’ll do fine.
I’ve discussed this aspect at length over quite a few articles in the archives. Please use the site google box to find out more about this years’ long disruptive revolutionary influence. Welcome to the 21st century of upheaval, transformation, and titanic collisions between a new world being born and an old age that’s digging in even as it’s dying.
That square represents the ongoing revolution of our times, with innovations and pioneering energies in conflict with restrictive and controlling power structures. We’ll be dealing with this for a few years, and it promises to make this year and next very “electric and eclectic,” moving the world through a revolution unlike any seen since the 1960s!!
Uranus is now moving through a span of degrees it hasn’t transited since 1931-1933. It went stationary retrograde last Summer on a degree where we’ve been learning to retire with dignity from dramas we don’t need. As Uranus is at 21 Aries, where it went retrograde, we’re learning how to generate power. This is a plunge into physical power expressed in a social setup, and the ability to focus our potency in interactive and cultural realms.
From mid-June through the end of August 2014, Saturn and Uranus were in quincunx, forcing hard adjustments, corrections, and necessary sacrifices preparing us for the release of pressure over the last half of 2014. We learned to sacrifice of old desires, attachments, and old limiting magnetism, while breaking into new discoveries and newer, better functioning by what was adjusted. We’ve all learned to see what we needed to withdraw from while maintaining our dignity and trusting our inner “God” or “Truth” to lead us to wisdom. This process will be complete by Jan 2016.
Pluto has now finished its years of teaching us harmlessness, kindness, and magnetism that brings forth a more gentle set of interactions through the deeper transformations going on in our lives. Keep purifying yourself in every way, since the less sludge we carry forward the lighter and freer we’ll feel. This Full Moon helps us re-focus on getting a valid perspective on our past so we can let go of nonessentials and get a sense of what’s really important in the larger evolutionary scheme.
We have now been guided through deep experiences that taught us how to get beyond fear, see life as a science lab, and learn the principles governing what comes and what goes in our perceptual reality. This is the next step in learning “a valid historical perspective,” where we separate out the core principles from the events surrounding them. This is the final step in our preparation to enter the next stage of self-transcendence, with the final exam September-October 2015.
As we learn to master Uranus square Pluto, we will be able to see the true causes of any social disorder, constructive versus destructive justifications and motives, and see where mistrust and mischief-making originate. This allows us to grow into a greater power when we’re confronted by old Pluto roles, coercions, and heavy-handed corrosive behavior. We can use the square between Uranus and Pluto in two big ways, both now and into the future.
We can exercise good Pluto function to put the brakes on negative Uranian manifestations, and good Uranus function to put the brakes on negative Pluto manifestations. Look to the harmonizing aspects to each to show which is building and which one is the release point for those energies. In this chart, Uranus is specializing many things in everyone’s lives, so go with the new rather than the established.
What's the proper sequence at present of deciding, feeling, and thinking, with an Overview of the Lunation
We’ve been through several different sequences since January. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses.
As a process of moving through events, over the next 4 weeks this Lunation shows we’ve now shifted from deciding, thinking, and then feeling into feeling, then deciding, and then thinking. That means the natural process of the times is to feel our way into decisions and actions. After we decide and/or act, it will be important to get new information to come to a new vision or understanding.
Once we get the right view or understanding, then a new feeling-experience will naturally arise that points the way to the next action. So stay alert to your feelings and what you’re experiencing, and then make decisions and act on the basis of those feeling experiences. Then finish the process by finding newer, more up to date information, ideas, interpretations, and understanding to get a new vision.
It’s a good pattern to learn and teach through anecdotes, seeing how others handled things practically, or how you handed things practically in the past. You may find that Venusian reflections lead to knowing what to do and how to do it, which in turn will lead to a new understanding of why that decision and action had to be done.
Given that Venus is retrograde, some of what you’re going to experience has roots in the distant past, where there may have been misunderstandings, or confusion, or hurt that was internalized. Now we get to take a new look at those old relationships, and get some sort of renewal that can free us from those old worries, criticisms, and any sense of lingering frustration from those misunderstood interactions.
With Venus and Mars leading the Sun, and Mars leading the Locomotive pattern, it’s a time of activating our Spiritual Warrior in Venusian ways! Illumination may be preceded by disruptions, or these could show us how we can let go of the past in ways that feed our future. This can bring renewal through letting your Soul speak so that you can embrace “the joy and power of new beginnings” at this dawning of a new day “revealing a world utterly transformed.”
With Venus and Mars at the front end of activity, release what needs to be released, and keep in mind that this is the last Full Moon with Saturn in Scorpio for the next 25 years! Open to expressing your heart, pay attention to the details that show you how Divine Mother is teaching you to be discerning in your health, work, or service, and when in doubt to play it safe or go for the new, innovative, and unusual, let your Fires burn bright and move forward with inspired confidence!
On a final note, this Full Moon is in Pisces, the sign of compassion and forgiveness. Stand for what you believe in, and be resolute in taking the high road while letting a lot get washed down the time stream. Remember there is a lot of collective heaviness in the air, and so generate compassion and good will whenever you can.
While sometimes life relationships and others’ rules can be a drag, it is important to remember that though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.
For your contemplation, a final meditation I offer each month at the end of our Full Moon journey of exploration.
We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.
All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.
If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.
Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.

Hi Robert, could this lunation trigger the mars/neptune-venus/neptune-conjunctions of February?
Thank you. You are my favorite author!! Blessings!

News from Swaziland tells that half naked girls were killed in car accidents on the way for kings "harem" party.
What did I wrote :(
Times have change. Less joy might give more dignity.
My weekend has been quiet. Still happy. :)

And in the UK a young 38 year old Norwegian-Russian concert pianist was killed in Manchester. And a triathlon athlete was found in the river. Certainly times are getting more difficult for many, and HaShem did speak of how they are crying due to the choices that they made.

What is becoming more and more apparent is the parable of the Virgins, and who has oil in their lamps and who does not. Who embraced the feminine energies of divine mother decades ago, and who didn't. I see this time being particularly difficult for America and decades ago they were warned that the USA is financially afflicted until at least 2015-2016. Then last night I had a dream of a tiger killing a bear and bears are to do with business. There are many reversals in store for America due to its karmic conditions and astrologically placed limitations. It predicts more 'hostile takeovers' that will rebound upon America like a boomerang. Its a few years ago now when God said, he would blow their minds away.

Apologies North America is financially afflicted until at least 2016-2017. Please excuse my speed typing.

Hi Robert,
last year at the pisces-virgo full moon i was "invited" by life to make a huge decision and gathered the courage to leave an old way of life (work) and start anew. By now it seems to be the time to confront that decision with delays and blocks on the way along the past year, although keeping faith?
As a pisces sun virgo asc (both at 24 degrees) i understand the personal implications but would there be a connection between the decisions taken at the 2014 full moon and again this moon on a larger scale? Is there a future time for a more clear analysis?
Thanks Robert.
