It’s International Astrology Day! It's also a day of celebration around the world for other reasons!
It is, of course, the Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, and the Autumnal Equinox in the Southern. Thanks to Wikipedia, we also find it's the Iranian new year (Norouz), celebrated throughout the Middle East and Central Asia. It's also the beginning of the Bahá'í calendar, Ostara, and Chunfen in Asia. And of course it would be "Vernal Equinox Day," which we are told is a public holiday in Japan.
So we now pass out of the dream time of the Sun at 30 Pisces, and power up a new season which puts the focus directly on Aries. With the Moon, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter as significant players in the Equinox chart, we’re moving into a season of an inner focus that can bring forth spiritual power, as well as explosive energies that will revolutionize our lives, leading to rebirth and renewal.
Get focused in the inner rather than the outer, and be willing to allow your “will to wholeness” to break up old complexes so you can ride the wave of regeneration and renewal. This season will be a peak of some sort, with wisdom and connectedness with others there for our discovery. This is a season of openings and new beginnings and initiatives, though it may seem not to be going as fast as promised, due to Mars slowing down rapidly. Here we enter new realms, which I’ll discuss in the coming Equinox article.
Still, as you’re acting, remember that Mercury is in Pisces so the dream time continues, with mind and interactivity following up the Solar illumination we’ve already glimpsed. This will help us all navigate and substantiate those thought forms over the next 90 days.
See what’s endings, what’s beginning, and feel your way into a new vision or understanding. Then get a plan, decide what needs deciding, and be with your allies in this season of renewal and focused concentration. This season will blow out a lot of repressed material as a result of how we’ve been educated before now. And as you ride the wave of culmination of an old life era, find your allies with whom you can enjoy the ride. To quote our old friend the I Ching, “pleasure shared is pleasure doubled.”

Last Sunday my brother Henry Palacios, a popular astrologer here in the Philippines, passed away so suddenly and freakishly. What is doubly intrigiungis that a close friend who is also an Astrologer, Archie Corteza, who was also popular here, wasn't responding to our calls, as we wanted to inform him of Henry's passing and get the affirmations my wife receives monthly for the full moon. Last Wednesday news broke out he was found dead in his apartment. They said 4 to 5 days had passed since he died. What is the connection? http://astrologyphilippines.blogspot.com/2016/03/farewell-henry-palacios-astrologer.html
