The Penumbral Eclipse Full Moon in Libra-Aries in March 2016 Pt. 4 – Aspects, Configurations, and More

This Lunation Eclipse ushers in about 4 months of radical changes as a result of the Mutable T-square fracturing multiple areas of our lives, and when we add the Moon in Libra triggering the Grand Irrationality, it’s sure to be a time of major forks in the road in seven areas of our charts. The good thing is that all the oppositions are mitigated by planets making favorable sextiles and trines, which should help us make headway toward our purpose, whatever that means to each of us.

Important Chart Factors

As I’ve told you, this Lunation will result in our ability to see a vaster perspective in ours and others’ evolution, and continue to pull us toward venerable standards we’ve been trying to live since 2009. This Eclipse will help our “will to wholeness” blow up old complexes as a result of what is released from our inner self. We just have to hang in there, always put our best self forward, and not settle for lesser things when greater rewards are at stake. We’re still in a time of practical training, and this period will test our skill at playing the game of life.

Because Jupiter in Virgo leads the occupied sector of the “Bowl,” it is extraordinarily important in how to get a hand on things, or how to initiate some form of practical activity. Besides the multiple opposition-sextile-trine configurations showing us how to make progress despite headwinds and showing us several lines of significant awareness, this Lunation Eclipse also features an abnormal number of conjunctions, showing “twinned” experiences wherever these fall in our chart.

Major Aspects and Configurations

Except for the powerful Mutable T-square, there are mostly harmonious, spiritual, and specializing aspects in this Lunation. The friction comes solely from Venus and Neptune in Pisces opposition Jupiter with all of the above square Saturn. This square will stay strong through this Summer, and shows the Great Fracturing that will ultimately be tremendously beneficial in clearing out some limiting attitudes and circumstances so we can find the knowledge that ensures us forms of wealth and power in the future.

Jupiter square Saturn gives us the opportunity to bring much to completion. If you feel that some effort is not worth the price, it’s an opportunity not to fall into discouragement or set your sights too low, or allow unnecessary rules and limitations to put you off your goal. Make sure your values and ambitions are reinforcing each other, and you’ll develop the strength to hold the focus under pressure.

Jupiter is forming an opposition to Neptune, and Venus “collects the light” of Jupiter, bringing its trine to Pluto back into play. This continues to give a lot of favorable momentum coupled with balanced awareness. This throws a very favorable void into the second decan of Cancer, giving us the power of self-mobilization on our own behalf to gather what we need to secure something in our life. This helps us make some basic personal decisions, offers us a chance to see the humor and/or irony in situations, and should bring strong growth involving personality integration as we finish one chapter of a life quest.

This favorable productive building awareness can be released through Saturn, which is the driver of the Mutable T-square. Be a good juggler and communicator, find different ways of viewing things to shift the momentum, and you’ll find your expertise has led you to a different realm of activity.

Harmonious aspects include Moon sextile Mars, Mercury trine Mars, Venus sextile Pluto, Sun trine Mars, Jupiter trine Pluto, and Saturn trine Uranus. We also have a plethora of specializing aspects, promising all kinds of interactive gifts and unique circumstances that are perfect for our special qualities. These include Moon vigintile Jupiter and quintile Saturn, Mercury tredecile Saturn and quindecile Neptune, the Sun tredecile Saturn and quindecile Neptune, and Jupiter biquintile Uranus.

There are so many spiritual aspects in this Full Moon that we will be offered numerous revelations, emergent awarenesses, and opportunities to overcome various dualities by making leaps of faith. We begin this extraordinary list with Moon quadranovile Venus and Mercury pentelftile Jupiter. Continuing, Venus is trielftile Mars, the Sun is pentelftile Jupiter, Mars binovile Jupiter and novile Pluto, Jupiter trinovile (trine) Pluto, and Uranus novile Neptune.

As I mentioned earlier, the Grand Irrationality is in direct play in this one, thanks to the Moon transiting the Libra zone of that configuration. This sets up triggers between now and August that will triggered each time the Moon or the inner planets transit any of the 7 hot zones of the Grand Irrationality. The configuration will also be in focus as the Sun, Mercury, and Venus move through late Aries and early Taurus, making septiles to Neptune and biseptiles to Pluto over the next few weeks, as well as when these go through late Gemini throughout June, making biseptiles to Neptune and triseptiles to Pluto.

If you’re new to the site, briefly, the Grand Irrationality in play for over 20 years, and it has affected various generations at different times. Everyone has been touched at some point in huge ways. Spirit walks with this configuration, as well as any major septile series aspect between the planets.

The choices we make as a result of these non-rational aspects show us our “direction of destiny,” and determines if the Spirit will grow stronger and closer with you, or if you will move in directions away from Spirit. Given that most of this community is intentionally trying to live in harmony with Life, Nature, and each other, chances are that whatever you – yes, YOU the reader – are confronting will show you a deeper, richer, more powerful Spiritual life. Which is a good thing.

Other Factors of Note

This is the fifth Full Moon with the North Node in Virgo. Let’s take a look back at what we’ve been learning from past North Node transits.

When the North Node was in Scorpio between September 2012 and February 2014 we went through a long wave Scorpio process of learning to “shed skins,” and let go of echoes of memories of perceptions by taking a new look at what we used to believe. Factoring in the November 2013 Scorpio Solar Eclipse, we’ve all been learning “gain through loss,” so that we could have faith, go deeper, and receive impressions from higher planes.

The Saturn in Scorpio focus between October 2012 and December 2014 that we revisited last Summer helped us intensify our striving in structured ways so we can unveil the life Mystery we’ve been chasing for quite a while. This anchored a deeper emotional stability and magnetism in those who have done the hard work of making Saturn your friend.

During the months of Saturn in Scorpio, we incorporated the old North Node in Scorpio lessons into our ongoing responses to life. Saturn also taught us to see a) how we have shifted our magnetism on relationships since then, and/or b) how we need to find a new view or way of understanding the losses and eliminations of the past we’ve been through.

The North Node is in Libra symbolized our line of greatest development. Therefore, the lessons we learned while Saturn in Libra were been developed between February 2014 and October 2015. Now it’s in Virgo, where we get pulled to growth through Virgo emphases.

This Lunation is the next one with the North Node in close conjunction with Jupiter, indicating growth is in having faith in our ability to grow in practical ways, and move into those “venerable standards” from 2009 that we’ve been willing to live as an example to others. “Expansive attention to detail,” or being educated by experimenting with social service could describe this conjunction.

Element Balance

Of the traditional 10 planets, there are 5 planets in Fire signs, 2 in Water, 2 in Earth, and 1 in Air. This indicates a preponderance of Fire (inspiration) with a balance between Earth (Practicality) and Water (feeling), with a slight underrepresentation of Air (communicating). The Moon in an Air sign strengthens the Air element despite the lack of any other planets in that element.

Air and Earth are “cool” elements, while Fire and Water are “hot” elements. With this distribution, feelings will run very high as we close out the old via Pisces and introduce the new via Aries.

More on how Uranus Square Pluto Has Ramped Up Radical Energies!

As I’ve mentioned off and on over the past 3+ years, we’re all learning to manage the “out of control” energies of Uranus square Pluto. They are certainly major players in the global collision of ideas at this point in history, and from time to time will be at the forefront of the hard edge of the conflict between control systems and the forces of individualization that are calling everyone to a greater spiritual individuality.

Even though the exact square is just past, it’s still very intense since it’s only separating by 2 degrees, and so is triggered each time anything moves through mid-Aries, mid-Cancer, mid-Libra, or mid-Capricorn. It’ll be triggered nonstop through all of April due to transits through Aries. After that it will be out of orb, and will not be much of a factor until late November 2016 and January 2017.

Welcome to the 21st century of upheaval, transformation, and titanic collisions between a new world being born and an old age that’s digging in even as it’s dying.

That square represents the ongoing revolution of our times, with innovations and pioneering energies in conflict with restrictive and controlling power structures. We’ll be dealing with this for a few years, and it promises to make this year and next very “electric and eclectic,” moving the world through a revolution unlike any seen since the 1960s!!

Uranus is now moving through a span of degrees it hasn’t transited since 1931-1933. In 2014-2015, it went stationary retrograde and stationary direct on a degree where we’ve been learning to retire with dignity from dramas we don’t need. As Uranus is now moving forward, we can use this power of revolution and innovation to find a new perspective and balance in our actions, getting focused in how we express our potential.

Because Saturn is trine Uranus, it shows a time when there is a possibility of harmonizing the old with the new. It indicates a time when what’s established can accept innovations and individualizing impulses to open doors to a wider effectiveness in the future. This one takes what is possible and synthesizes it within a greater law of uniqueness or pioneering initiatives.

This trine opens heart fires, and over the long run we’ll see this aspect unleashing a new type of artistic intensity, even for those who are not artists. This is setting an inspirational pattern wherever we have the middle degrees of the Fire signs in our charts, and will take clearer shape from October 2016 on through December 2017.

Pluto has now finished its years of teaching us harmlessness, kindness, and magnetism that brings forth a more gentle set of interactions through the deeper transformations going on in our lives. Keep purifying yourself in every way, since the less sludge we carry forward the lighter and freer we’ll feel.

This Full Moon helps us get a sense of the structures that protect us, and give us the change to join together with others so that all may overcome any barrenness or “coldness” in our life conditions. Find those who share your heart fire, and figure out how the group may help others. Have a sense of humor about how this is going on in your lives, and take a look back at recent lessons and developments that showed you your willingness and obedience to a greater purpose, and move in that direction.

As we learn to master Uranus square Pluto, we will be able to see the true causes of any social disorder, constructive versus destructive justifications and motives, and see where mistrust and mischief-making originate. This allows us to grow into a greater power when we’re confronted by old Pluto roles, coercions, and heavy-handed corrosive behavior. We can use the square between Uranus and Pluto in two big ways, both now and into the future.

We can exercise good Pluto function to put the brakes on negative Uranian manifestations, and good Uranus function to put the brakes on negative Pluto manifestations. Look to the harmonizing aspects to each to show which is building and which one is the release point for those energies. In this chart, Uranus is specializing many things in everyone’s lives, so go with the new rather than the established.

What's the proper sequence at present of deciding, feeling, and thinking, with an Overview of the Lunation

We’ve been through several different sequences over the past few months. There are six patterns, and each has their strengths and weaknesses.

As a process of moving through events, the most effective “firing sequences” for moving through life and experience involves first feeling our way into ideas, perceptions, view, and interactions. Once we’ve gotten a new idea, vision, or understanding, then we have to make a decision and act on it!

Try not to overplan too far into the future. Take your feeling-knowing one step at a time, and keep things in balanced motion, even if they go all over the place at times. Move from experience to knowledge, communication, or vision. When you feel something, then get the information you need that allows you to see the one step you need to take to move everything forward one step.

Once we’ve made a decision and acted on it, then a new feeling will naturally arise showing the next thing to learn about, communicate, or understand. So feel, flow, and experience, since these will lead you to ideas and views that will in turn lead to the next decision which will naturally lead you to the next experience.

Our sense of purpose can keep a lot integrated in the next few months despite the multiple fractures in front of all of us. This is a time of “favorable disintegration,” and by the time Mars goes direct in late June we will not feel as blocked as we have in the past.

We have some remarkably favorable aspects that show many overlapping spiritual realizations are there to be had. Because of the nature of the planetary positions in this Full Moon, we can use the power of the Lunation to see a larger part to play, as well as our independence, our foresight, and our ability to see the best in all kinds of approaches rather than stay stuck in “either-or” attitudes.

Rise above contrasts, and work and play at fellowship. With Venus exalted in Pisces, we can see how to forgive a lot as we say goodbye to lesser things. Find the right “camouflage” for your public work, and be guided into a greater “Sanctuary” than you’ve known before now.

We can use the awareness of the Full Moon to express positive Piscean energies, which will affect our atmosphere in positive ways. Because there is a lot of collective heaviness in the air, generate positivity, healing, and heart-felt goodwill whenever you can.

While sometimes having to say goodbye to older, lesser ways of life can be a drag, it is important to remember that even though life can occasionally be painful, we do not have to suffer. And as we learn to break the link between pain and suffering, we heal our part of humanity and the world.

We are Light. All things are composed of Light in various frequencies that express as limitless forms. Some light frequencies are of greater density than others.

All shadows result from light hitting a dense object. Psychological shadows too. Therefore, it’s good to become as translucent and translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows.

If you must look at and/or deal with shadows, whether your own or another’s, then refocus your Light on the object being illuminated, since that form is the source of the shadow.

Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
